Alana Evans's Creepy Story: 'I Could've Been Killed Today'

Alana calls me back. "I got booked on a shoot through Gold Star Models. The person in the hotel room didn't exist. He used reputable male talent's name -- Scott Lyons name. He uses Scott's name and booking girls for shoots and getting them to hotels. The room number doesn't exist. The girls are left waiting in the lobby. I guess this guy is sitting there getting off on watching us totally frazzled, not knowing what is going on. I booked this through my agency."

Luke: "What did your agent say?"

Alana: "They were a little surprised."

Alana calls me back at 7:33 p.m. "AVN has put a story up but they are so PC, they haven't put all the information on there. I know you will.

"Gold Star booked me a couple of days ago to do a shoot with Donnie Long and Scott Lyons. Because I recognized the male talent, I didn't call them.

"They booked me to do a scene at the Universal Hilton. I don't like working at a hotel but sometimes that's what you have to do.

"After waiting 15 minutes, my husband Chris Evans calls Scott, who told him that there was a guy in the business using his name to book girls. The shoots never came to fruition. The guy would send the girls to locations, giving them hotel numbers that didn't exist.

"This guy is calling the agencies, booking through the agencies, and he gets a kick out of watching women wait, frazzled, in public places. My fear is that he is not going to get off on that for much longer. He's going to go to the next step. That's why everybody needs to know.

"One day a girl is going to show up and she's going to get attacked."

Luke: "Joel Lawrence isn't calling me back."

Alana: "They realize they screwed up. I could've been killed today."

Jimmy: "[Porn] doesn't feel like family any more. There's a different breed of people in it."

Jimmy says his age has nothing to do with his attitude about porn. "I hardly hang out with anybody my own age. I stay up with pop culture.

"I feel 22.

"The talent are even more mercenary than ten years ago. You used to be able to get them to sneeze without paying them an extra $50.

"Everything that goes on on a set is potentially content. They feel that from the moment they set foot on set, the scene has begun."

Luke: "Where do you find meaning in your work?"

Jimmy: "That I get paid to hold a camera in my hands, that has meaning to me. It almost doesn't matter what it's pointed at."

I read Jimmy the section in the book The Dirty Little Secret: Uncovering the Truth Behind Porn where Ariana Jollee wonders what her life would've been like if she had never done porn.

Jimmy: "Couldn't an insurance broker ask himself the same question? Don't we all question the choices we make in life?

"In writing the book, Craig [Gross] obviously has a point of view and a bias just as you do and AVN does... If someone from AVN had a problem with Craig having a bias, I'd say, 'Nigger please!' Do you guys report on Adult industry without bias? Of course not. You're pro-industry, as you should be.

"Did Craig manipulate things I said to suit the point of view of the book? Absolutely. Do I care? No.

"I don't recall writing a confessional email to them. If something disgusts me, it disgusts me. I've shot about 2,500 scenes. I've seen things I wish I could purge from my brain. That doesn't make me anti-porn.

"If you go to war, and even if you believe in the war, don't you think you are going to see things in that war that you wished you didn't see?

"I like Mike and Craig as people. They've never been judgmental with me. Some pornographers are extremely judgmental.

"Why do people have a hard-on for the Christian thing?

"I don't see anybody getting a hard-on for Jews?"

Luke: "Because the industry is controlled by Jews [and not Christians]."

Jimmy: "Thank you very much.

"'Christians suck but Jews are OK because I make my living off of Jews.'

"If you are anti-those religions, be straight-up. I think those religions are fairy tales."

Luke: "You've taken a lot of shots at [AVN Editor] Mike Ramone."

Jimmy: "I don't know him. We've taken shots at each other. But we've put it behind us.

"Now I've met him a few times... I read some things he wrote and found out we agree on a bunch of things. He's more pro-active in his anti-religious sentiments.

"I'm your friend yet we have wildly different beliefs, but our friendship doesn't have much to do with those beliefs.

"Craig and Mike conducted my daughter's wedding [last September]. It was done on a beach. My daughter is not religious. She said to the pastors, 'I respect that you guys are Christian pastors and you need to put some of that in the ceremony, but I'd like the ceremony to be as secular as possible.' They respected that.

"If you were at the wedding, you would've wondered if it was a Christian wedding or a secular wedding."

Luke: "What advice did you give your daughter about marriage?"

Jimmy: "None. My daughter was witness to my marriage with her mother and figured out early on that anything her parents had to say to her about marriage didn't hold water. All I want for my daughter is that she be happy.

"My daughter and her husband have known each other since they were eight.

"I tell everybody that women will breed with me but they won't stay with me. I have a ten year old son. I want him to become a great parent. That's the test of a man, not 'How many girls did you f---?'

"Since I split up with my ex-wife, she got her bachelors degree, got two masters degrees and gets her doctorate this year in Psychology."

Luke: "She's really made something of her life."

Jimmy: "Good for her. I paid for it.

"Before I worked in porn, I was working for a Fortune 200 company making industrial videos. It was 1989. I lost my house. I lost my marriage."

Luke: "Was that related?"

Jimmy: "It had something to do with it.

"Porn has been OK to me. It provided for me and my children."

Luke: "When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?"

Jimmy: "A baseball player. I was a [New Jersey] all-star [in highschool]."

Luke: "What similarities in feedback have you received over your life?"

Jimmy (the eldest child): "This whole rebellion thing. Bill Day was explaining me to somebody else while I was standing there. He said, 'Jimmy has such a rebellious spirit, he even rebels against the porn industry.'

"When porn became my status quo, that's when I had to rebel against it. That's pathetic.

"My son's mother asked my father, 'What was Jimmy like when he was young?' My father shook his head and said, 'Bad, really bad.' That's all he said.

"I have authority issues. I've had shrinks say this since I've been in grammar school."

Jimmys says that a rare media outlet that portrayed his story with the pastors without bias was CBN's (Christian Broadcasting Network) 700 Club. "They let me have my say. It didn't agree with them. They said that as far as Craig and Mike having an impact on me, they were a failure.

"...Mr. Cover of LA Weekly. You come tell me when you make People magazine. Then I'll be impressed. Rob and I, our pictures were in LA Weekly."

It turns out to be the cover story on me in New Times LA in January 1999.

Jimmy: "Of course your memory is better because it was about you.

"Oh man, I'm living in your shadow. I don't have a problem with that."

Luke: "Who did you get more flack for befriending? Me or the porn pastors?"

Jimmy: "Without a doubt, the porn pastors. I was amazed at the amount of flack."

We talk about talent.

Jimmy: "These girls are loyal to the green. And they should be. Why else do this? Why else should you get in front of a camera and show your insides to the world?

"I wouldn't want to rep a girl who does this because she likes sex. Tell me you love money because if you're greedy there's a better chance you will show up and do what you are supposed to do.

"There are millions of people who love sex and they're not in porn.

"...Porn may f--- up thousands of people but religion f---- up millions."

Luke: "When are you going to face up to your addiction to dope?"

Jimmy: "I don't consider myself a pot smoking addict. I'll go a week without smoking pot. I went 15 years without smoking pot when I had a wife and a child and a mortgage and I was seeing the American dream."

Luke: "Why do you need that crutch?"

Jimmy: "I use it for medicinal purposes. I'm getting older. I have a lot of little pains, arthritis in my knees.

"I've been smoking pot since I was 17."

Luke: "How are your battles with your weight?"

Jimmy, who's 5'10 and weighs 265: "Up and down. A lot of the weight is around my gut and I think it affects my health adversely. I'd like to do something about it but I'm lazy. I have a treadmill that I stare at every day. I hope it will eventually guilt-trip into getting on the thing. I have high blood pressure. I've been dealing with that for a long time."

He'd like to weigh 205 pounds. At one point, he weighed 310.

This is the first time I have posted something on this site. Normally I'm very easy going and will generally take whatever is dished out by inconsiderate and unprofessional talent I guess because I've had the good fortune not to be 'burned' too many times over the years and if I do, which is pretty rare I just shrug it off. But yesterday's shennanigan by Samantha South from World Modeling damn near gave me a stroke.

I had spoken last week to junior and got a tentative on her for a d/p this week. Conferenced her on Mon.with senior to go over all the info. For the shoot yesterday her call time for makeup was 8:30am and bear in mind this was at a Hollywood location that charges by the hour and overage. I had a makeup artist, the pm, the still guy, the videographer, the pa, the press the male talent etc. there. Some people had travelled from as far away as San Diego and Orange County.

Well, at 9:30 no show.10:00 no show. By now, I got Jim on the phone, who informs me that she just woke up and called him (not me) to tell him that she was not going to do the scene because she was'sore' I suppose from yesterday.

Again I conferenced with her and practically begged her to come on as we were stuck with all there. She agreed, said she would be there shortly.

At 11:15, over an hour later still no show. I called and got voice mail. Usually not good. Called again 5 min. later and got her. She said she was on the freeway and traffic was bad; though she could not tell me where on the road she was and could not identify a road sign!

I asked her right then are you sure you are coming...Yes...You promise..Yes...you swear...Yes. O.K. at 12:30 Jim calls me and says she just called him again and said she was not coming because in her haste she got a speeding ticket and was traumatized and returning to Woodland Hills.

I had to shut down,pack up and pay hundreds of dollars in 'kill' fees. Not to mention all the aggravation and embarassment that went with it. I told Jim he should fire her for this crap and well you probably know that won't happen. In fact she's booked every day for the rest of this week. So, beware of this girl. Book her and she's liable to mess you up also.

Yes Samantha [South] screwed up Rod's shooting. We do feel horrible about the whole situation and tried to rectify it. We know Rod is extremely disappointed and we apologize. We are not going to fire someone who has shown up for 19 out of the 20 shootings we have booked her. She has received praises about her scenes and punctuality from just about everyone who has shot her. We did everything we could to get her there. Now I see a post on her which is fine. That is what this site is for, but calling the director who has her booked next and trying to black flag her is BS. I don't have exact dates but I'm sure something happened at one point (for whatever reason) where Rod couldn't make a shoot. Is that grounds for never working again?

We should be charging a hell of a lot more than $100 if there is a chance we are going to have to dish out thousands of dollars if something doesn't work out. I suppose if the model shows up on time, does a rockin scene and you sell double the normal amount of pieces, you'll kick the agent and girl down more money, right?

Jim, I'm not sure why you decided to put a bright red cape on and become Capt. Saveahoe today but let me clue you in on something. If a mainstream hollywood agent books an actor for a project and the actor doesnt show up then the agent and the agency are held responsible. Creative Artists Agency holds alot of power in Hollywood, if their talent was worthless(i.e. doesnt show up to do the job) why on earth would any studio book from them again? Are you gonna give me some lame excuse about "well they have the girls". This is complete crock of ---- in 2006 when most girls can be found on the many modeling websites. I cant even count how many girls I first saw on OneModelPlace and are now on LA Direct Models. Again back in 1990 before the internet become big World Modeling was important because it was well known and had ads and tons of newspapers and if you wanted to meet girls that did porn you HAD to goto World. Those days are long long gone. If Derek, Dick Nasty, and others didnt cruise sexyjobs,onemodelplace and adultstaffing promising girls they can make $10,000 per week there would be no need for any kind of agent much less an agent who does NOTHING except answer the phone.

This message board is about flakey models which by association means flakey agents. World Modeling needs to EARN their money by doing what REAL agencies do. When I made my posting, it was the first time I had used this site to do so. 'My XRCO Awards Show 2006 experience'

When I went to the XRCO Awards, I brought with me a bunch of copies of Triple-X Cinema #3. Margold said I could put them wherever I wanted. Margold put them on a bunch of tables. He gave them a lot of visibility. Before the awards started, I mostly hung out at the entrance to the Century Club. A group of us took photos of the women as they arrived. Some women (Kylie Ireland and Taylor Wane) who starred in Carnal Comics books were there. Kylie spoke favorably about her comic book to Christy Canyon. I gave Christy a business card. Taylor was not close up enough to hear what we were talking about. I met Bono (Moderator for adultdvdtalk.com ) and Morbid Thoughts (a person who posts many messages on adultdvdtalk.com). I met Monstar and he was very nice. A woman [Joanne B. Cachapero], who writes for xbiz.com, told me that Carnal Comics was helpful in getting her first article posted on www.xbiz.com. She told me that noticing Aurora Snow and Inari Vachs at the Comic-Con gave her a good subject to write about.

When I got in the Century Club, I noticed Belladonna sitting at a table. She posed for a picture with me. She was very friendly and down to earth. She has a smile that lights up a room. The awards ceremony seemed to start an hour late but it went by very quickly once it started. The audience was talking during much of what was said. The audience was distracting but I could hear most of what was said. There was a problem of many winners not coming up for their awards but it's possible some people might not have been aware that there names were called. Margold hosted the Hall of Fame portion. John Stagliano did come up to get his award but Jon Dough, Blale Palmer, etc. did not. When Ron Jeremy was presenting, there were two women on both sides of him. Ron said "The Good, the Bad, (pause) "the Ugly." He still has his self-deprecating sense of humor. Jay told me that when Ron was standing next to Christina Angel at an event, Ron said they were beauty and the beast.

I liked this XRCO Awards more then the other two that I went to. I spent more time at the entrance then inside the room. Out of the 104 photos that I took, I have posted 57 in the photo section under the title of XRCO. I have also started rearranging photos in the photo section. Deja Sinn now has her own album.

Getting Francesca Le

I totally get where Francesca was coming from in this interview. When I started there were only a handful of ethnic performers period, and I the very first Black GND (Girl Next Door.) In this biz, there is no artist development which greatly limits your capability of being more than what the directors and companies see when you walk through the door. In the music biz, the companies sell an image of an artist to a young crowd then slowly "grow up" their character to attract an older audience as the artist ages and starts to lose their audience. Porn doesn't do that.

I found in my own career that while looking 12 when I first came into the biz was great at the beginning (at 19,) that after 2-3 years I was no longer believable as "just 18." The companies couldn't see me as being a glamour girl and I missed out on a lot of great roles as a result. It took my growing up my own image on screen in order to continue to stay in the loop. Today, lots of these girls do more and more extreme stuff with the hopes of sticking around but they don't have the same luxury that those from my gen had... there are too many performers now and once you make career changing mistakes there are others ready to take your place... That didn't exist years ago.

I think one of the only reason I have managed to stick around is because I not only changed my look for the better and created the glamour image that others didn't see when I walked through the door, but I also only do the things I really, truly love on screen - so my performances are always sizzling hot... hoping that in doing so the fever will spread and fans will always enjoy what they see.

And being able to change my look from GND to Glamour Girl to Fetish Queen doesn't hurt.

Farrah Update

She's in prison in Southern California sentenced to eight months for assaulting a police officer years ago (there was a Los Angeles warrant out for her arrest). She's yet to stand trial in Los Angeles on charges of using fake IDs and credit card theft. Then she needs to be sentenced in New Jersey for bank fraud (she might get more than three years because she failed to show up for sentencing in February).

Farrah (Joy Marquart) resides in prison in Lynwood, California (11705 Alameda St). She's doing better inside than outside where she was drinking excessively and burning her friends. Now she's sober.

In New York, Farrah was connected to this black pimp who beat her. He put her up to the bank fraud that got her in trouble.

Farrah had a friend in the business who brought her out to LA (several times, including in late January) and helped her get escorting work. But Farrah's drinking got out of control.

In New York, Farrah, under the control of this pimp, seemed scared to do anything. Her LA friend talked her into walking out, getting a taxi, getting a hotel, and then flying to Los Angeles in the morning.

When Farrah got to LA in late January of this year, this pimp would call her and try to talk her into hitting another bank.

This mastermind of her crimes has yet to be apprehended.

Farrah and her friend had a mutual friend who was into making and selling fake IDs. The police were watching this guy. He was washing his car in Farrah's friend's driveway in LA when the police swooped down and busted him. Farrah used her fake ID and tried to claim she was someone else, so she got busted too.

Billy Glide was present when the bust (in February) went down.

Farrah had a plane flight booked back to New Jersey the next day to face her sentencing.

Her friend spent $8,000 (mortgaging her house) to put up bail for Farrah and take care of her.

Farrah flew to San Francisco to escort. She said she'd fly back that same day of her court date. Her friend with her house on the line got nervous.

Farrah did not show up to court.

Her friend sent the bounty hunters to pick her up (rather than lose her house).

Farrah was scared of detoxing in jail.

The police did not have a search warrant when they busted Farrah and her friends.

Farrah wanted a bunch of her pictures sent to her in jail so she could sign and sell them. The pictures were sent back by the prison even though they weren't nudies.

I figured I should go see an awards I had helped voted on. Would I do it again? Probably not. It was more a party with the awards being ancillary. There was a fist fight, lots of drama and sniping, and a whole bunch of general drunkenness.

The place was supposed to be limited to industry but anybody could've gone in as security was only checking for IDs. There were terrible acoustics in the place so unless you were next to the stage you couldn't hear a damn thing and that's why people didn't know they had won. I couldn't see much either in the dark (but that's not their fault).

The stage was kind of small, so many times it got crowded especially with three hosts, two heart-on girls, and multiple presenters.

The crowd didn't really know what was going on nor did they care most of the time. I watched some of the pornorazzis at work and was put off by some of their antics... although I did meet some nice ones. I wasn't as aggressive in asking people to pose in that I consider it rude to interrupt people in the middle of conversations, expect them to show skin, or dominate their time.

There was an upstairs area where the media could congregate so they could do whatever they need to do with the girls and I stumbled upon it looking for my friend. Security didn't let me through but I managed to motion her out to their disappointment. I wasn't thrilled to find out later that someone had roofied her.
