Anytime you have an award like this, there will be a debate about who should have and should not have been included. The thing to realize is that each performer had to have been active for 5 of the 10 years between 2000-2009. That rules out Lela Star and Alexis Texas.
Most of the other names mentioned in the comments were on the ballot and were given consideration. You can see all the nominees who received at least 1 top 10 vote.
One more thing, please realize that the voting to determine the 8 finalists was done by a panel of 7…this is not just one person’s opinion.
