Mark Kernes writes a cute tongue in cheek story over on AVN.com that perhaps winning an AVN award can have dire consequences. Seems both Stars of the year 2009, jessica drake & Evan Stone are on the injured list.
Evan had his appendix burst and has spent 5 days in Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
jessica has a stress fracture on her left foot that has her in a walking cast with crutches. Chances are she got it from jumping up and down in her high heels after winning the award.

Another coincidence that wasn’t mentioned was that Evan and jessica were a couple for quite a long time. Both have moved on to other wonderful people, Evan is with the beautiful Syren and jessica is with Brad Armstrong.
