50% of the US & worldwide recession was created by Wall Street (Banks and I don’t mean Briana. lol), and the other 50% was created by Washington (Bush and the GOP mainly).
They’re both equally responsible.

Look, recesions are a natural phenomena in economy, goverments cannot create recession single handed. When a fiel of the economy is too good, people tend to jump on them (look at porn as a example) and thath field eventually ceases to be profitable. Recesion is the way of the economy to punish bad investments. Once the incompetent, corrupt and the idiots are gone, the economy becomes healty again. It does not matter if is porn or mortages.
Politiciansm in order to justify their jobs othen claim to control that natural process, often making things worse by delaying the unavoidable by creating bubles via “stimulus plans”. Bush destroyed the Reagan, Clintons and Gringrich era of small goverment as a ideal and presided over record deficits trying to avoid a recession under his mandate, poetic justice came when recession came just in enought time to destroy his party. Premier Obambi (yes I read Maureen Dowd) seem want to do doing in a year what Bush took 8 to do. The Recession now can turn into a Depression. And this time is American people’s, who elected the current President and Congress untimate responsability.

The US people gave the Congress to the Right from 1994-2006, and gave the White House to Bush in 2004.
Actually the US people giving Congress to the Reeps in 1994 while keeping a Dem in the White House at the same time was pure genius. Checks and Balances.
The problem with Bush and now with Premier Obambi is that they have no Checks and Balances from Congress. Bush got them too late in 2006 and Nancy Pelosi was not Newt Gingrich. Obama do not has them right now.
So they are going to show the worse trait of the Baby Boom and post Baby Boomers American. Total self indulgence. There was not bill Bush will not veto when the Reeps controled Congress. There is no bailout Premier Obambi do not what to do, with money created ex nihilo.
