It has been the buzz for a while that David Sturman’s GVA-West distribution company is far, far behind on invoices from studios. They are claiming they can’t pay the bills.
But according to SFGate.com and the San Francisco Chronicle, as part of his 25th wedding anniversary celebration, Sturman bought his wife a Mercedes McLaren, which runs in the $500,000 range.
Sturman also owns the teetering Sin City Video.
OK so I will start this one….I admire David so much that I used to look like him..He rules…Like how could you be held responsible for the inheritance of the MOST balling pornographer of all time…He kept it tight and was fucking On It even when he enjoyed most casual dress days…BTW I hope Vincent is still the coolfag on the phone when you first contact GVA a most exceptional guy…The largely Philipino staff also rule like family style…They were all rad people especially the fucking Lead Video Buyer Thomas…I would bet that he is Most Clean of these allegations…I love all at GVA…But As a Naive Manager I got fucked by my direct supervisor who had a Stripper addiction and stole from my safe regularly…What Like I am going to rat? No I don’t do that….Like never….There is a lot more to this one here but I digress….Wouldn’t mind talking to David about it….Was previously considering a letter to him and JK This fat scummy black lame, later got caught for embezzelling (sic), ass fucked off my reputation after I left…I left being offered a promotion and Big Worm, 6 months later, blames me for all kinds of ruin that is funny since he recommended the promotion that I refused thus loosing my job…So luke can you use it…BTW Fuck San Francisco it is BumCity….

I don’t know if any part of this story is even true (probably not) but if it is true that he’s not paying his bills but throwing away $500,000 on a new car for his wife, then ya it is quite a few people’s business. Like all the people he owes money to. I’m sure $500,000 could have paid off quite a few of his creditors.
Again I don’t know if there is any truth to any part of this story but if it is, it’s complete bullshit that he’s blowing all that money on himself and his wife and not paying all those other people.
Kelli, it’s Not True, and really proves what a pieceashit blog this has become. Luke Ford, used to post interesting and stimulating dialog on this site…it’s now become a graveyard of lies, desparate hype, and outright bullshit.
I agree with Lee. This blog has become a graveyard, and whoever runs it now needs to decide once and for all: if he wants to work as a journalist, he must have reliable sources, professional tools of gathering the information, and the ability to write detailed, interesting and provocative reports. If the person who is currently in charge of this blog has none of the above, and clearly he doesn’t, then he must call it quits and stop wasting people’s time with one liners, anonymous quotes and fan emails. I was reading Luke Ford’s reports and articles since 1998, love him or hate him, but he was an ambitious and talented wirter who was never afraid to do what it takes to break a story, eventhough his endeavors often made him more enemies than friends. I’ll never forget how I felt when for the first time I read his report on how John Stagliano was infected by HIV after taking it in the ass from a Brazilian she-male hooker. My jaws was on the floor, and I admired Ford’s courage to break such story about one of the most influential people in the adult industry. Stagliano could easily make Ford’s life a living hell and Ford knew it, but that didn’t stop him. Those days are gone, the real Luke Ford doesn’t write here anymore, he sold this blog and moved on with his life, so to whom it may concern: either do some decent work and actually write something interesting, or give up and move on with your life. Stop beating a dead horse; and please, don’t think people are stupid.

You stirred this total fabrication, thinking that he wouldn’t see your lies, and you might tantalize readers with phoney journalism. Your a total fake out Dude. It is a pretty widely known fact that Sturman is behind on tons of bills. This isn’t a tip from 1, or 2, or even 3 studios.
Come-On U All, At least he pays his bills, unlike Smash Pictures/ Horizon who bought product from everyone and told every one to fuck off. That product was paying for Smash Productions. And you know what, studios know that Supersource paying slow, they have the choice to sale him, or not to sale. If they made the choice to sale, they need to put up and shut up!!!!
I rarely blog on this site. But you got me off the bench on this one. My company has always collected payment from Adult Super Source/ SanOak or Profit Pack. David is a stand up guy.
As far as using the words “widely known fact”. Myself along with other readers would like to read some of your facts, if you have any.The “studios” you are referring to are probably the fledgling small ones ran by lame talent, internet content jocky or suitcase pimps that morphed them selves into a production companies or directors. I am just guessing. So please names some of your “facts” if you have any. For I have always been paid by my creditors in this business. Late at times but always collected. Horizon also pays me as well.
