Stormy Daniels is gorgeous, smart, creative and a talented actress, writer and director. She has been a Wicked contract girl for ten years. Her popularity and that of her movies continues to grow. She is an icon in the porn industry and works often in mainstream. But recently Stormy has added some new important roles to her life. She is in a loving relationship with Brendon Miller, musician/film editor/porn performer and…. Stormy is a mommy! We talk about her crazy romance, being in love, music, babies, life and oh yeah, porn too!
It’s been a long time since we have done an interview together. You have done a lot of exciting things since we last talked, Babies, boyfriends, rock bands!
I don’t want to keep all my eggs in one basket.
You’ve had quite an adventure the last couple of years.
My life has always been an adventure. This one has been a different kind of adventure.
A good adventure.

How did all this come about? A while back I noticed you were tweeting about this drummer boy and next thing I know there’s love, then there’s mutual pets and then there is a baby.
I guess it happens that way when you find the right person. It was a really weird thing. He was in a band called Hollywood Undead and I kept hearing the band’s name. Someone would mention it to me and I would say god I’ve head that name. And Hollywood Undead was on the same label as Maroon 5 and I did the Maroon 5 video.

I met the owner of the label at the Maroon 5 video shoot and he said I ought to direct the video for his new band Hollywood Undead. I listened to the music, it wasn’t really my thing, than I got busy, whatever. When I was in Tampa a friend of mine invited me to go to a show that her friend was playing in, and she said the name of the band was Hollywood Undead and I should direct their video. I thought that was so weird. So I ended up going out and met the band. They were all cool guys and they had groupies and girls and whatever and I remember sitting on the couch and this guy said “Hey, what’s up? Can I sit here?” and he sat down. We talked for an hour before I realized that he was with the band because he wasn’t in the group that I had met already. And then he said to me, so what do you do? And I was like REALLY? Come on! We hit it off. I went to the show the next day and we went out and stayed out until six in the morning talking, we didn’t kiss, didn’t do anything. It was just awesome. Then the next night after the show we went out again to the after party, because I was trying to get the directing gig as well. I will never forget, we were standing up on this balcony talking about music and he said to me, what is your favorite band, and I said you haven’t heard of them. He said try me I know a lot of obscure stuff. I was like it is a local band from Louisiana where I am from and they broke up over ten years ago because the bass player got killed. I listened to them in high school, so there is no way you know this band. He looked at me and said, try me and if I know them we are totally going to get married one day. He was being sarcastic, because we hadn’t kissed or anything. So I said, the name of the band is Acid Bath. And without missing a beat he started singing my favorite Acid Bath song. And he said that’s my favorite band. It was so weird. Then he left to go on the bus and we just talked on the phone everyday for five or six weeks. He was cool and nice and we had a lot in common. Then he went to Europe and we were on the phone and joking and I said wouldn’t it be totally crazy if I came to Europe and surprised you? And he said I totally think you should do it. So I bought a five thousand dollar plane ticket.
Wow. Brave move. Good for you!
That was the first time I had gone somewhere like that alone. I didn’t bring my assistant or a friend. I packed a backpack, because I knew I was going to be on the bus, got my ticket and arranged my transportation from the airport to their concert that they were playing in the Netherlands. I know when I get there, there will be sixty-five thousand people who don’t speak English and I don’t have a ticket, but have to get back stage to find him. I remember sitting on the plane and thinking what if we see each other and we don’t like each other? What if this is a really bad idea? I did it on such a whim that my moment of clarity was somewhere over the Atlantic. I got there and I hopped a fence and they came and got me and I got back stage and saw the show. I ended up sitting at a table with Katy Perry because she was playing the same show and it was very surreal. There is a picture with me and Brendon standing together and you can see the thousands of people in the background. Snow Patrol was playing and the song Chasing Cars came on and we just looked at each other and we were done. And we have been together ever since.
Amazing. You took such a huge chance going over there. But you just knew it was the right thing to do. It was meant to be. Seems like karma or something, doesn’t it?
I’ve always heard that things happen that way. I never wanted kids. I didn’t even play with dolls when I was little at all. I broke up with boyfriends over the years because I knew they were going to want to have kids, and I had to be honest, I didn’t want kids. And Brendon didn’t either. Then one day, he was like hey, let’s have a baby.
Oh my god!
It was the same thing as when I bought the ticket to Europe. I think it happened faster than I really had time to think about it happening.
And look how happy you are now.
The baby was totally planned and Wicked was totally supportive. She has a great Dad and I couldn’t be luckier.
You never know what’s around the corner for you, do you?
No, and it’s nice to be with someone who has a lot of the same interests but has their own thing going on too. He’s a drummer and he’s very talented at his trade. I can’t play an instrument to save my life. But at the same time we like the same television, movies, music, we have the same ideas. And some of the things that I do he has picked up. He had never ridden a horse before.
Really? I thought he was a horse guy.
No! He had never ridden a horse before except as a kid like we all had. He was visiting me and I was going to the barn and he wanted to go with me. I thought he would be bored, like people are usually. He went and said maybe he’d try riding sometime. But I ride English. I ride jumper. There is nothing to hold on to. So we went to Jamaica for his birthday and they had trail riding. In Jamaica, they have English saddles, so I thought, this dude is going to fall off his horse. So we went out and by the time we got back from an hour ride, Brendon had picked it up. He picked up riding so quickly. I started giving him lessons and exactly a year later to the day he competed in his first jumping show.
That’s amazing.
So now we ride together.
So Danger Mouse is his and Bailey is yours.
Yes.
I read that you were taking Danger Mouse to the vet. You never think of how hard it must be to take a horse to the vet.
Luckily the stable he is at is on the same street as the vet and I just walk him down there.
So the horse in one hand and the baby in the other hand.
Yeah.
Seems like you and Brendon mesh so well in everything. Because now he is doing porn!
Yeah. And he edits all my movies for Wicked. When I was pregnant, he decided that he didn’t want to tour and be gone so much. So he thought he’d try editing, and he is really good at it. He is one of those really annoying people who are good at everything they do.
I’m glad to hear that. You are quite a perfectionist yourself. It’s good to have someone who is as hard a worker and caring about his work as you are. You are strong minded and opinionated and someone that didn’t have great things of his own, would get lost with you.
He has made me be nicer. He is a very nice guy and having him made me be nicer for sure.
And I bet having a baby taught you patience, huh?
Oh yeah. That is something I didn’t have before.
Are you enjoying the time to slow down with a baby and doing field trips to the zoo and stuff like that?
Oh yeah. I try to do something with her everyday. It’s so cool to watch her. I don’t even watch the animals, I watch her watch the animals. She is so smart. She gets that from me.
Of course!
She’s funny too. But she is very loving and sweet, like he is. I definitely see a lot of both of us. She’s already a little musician and got more rhythm than me.
So you don’t play any instruments?
No.
Does Brendon sing?
Yes.

NO!
Come on, when he is home playing his drums and singing, you guys don’t ever start singing together?
No. no. Definitely not. I wish. People always say if you could do one thing what would you do. I wish I could sing. I want to be a rock star so bad. But it ain’t gonna happen.
You could be the backup dancer that claps the tambourine.
But I would be so off, they would wonder what song I am dancing too.
You are a great feature dancer, award winning even. You have rhythm.
I fake it really well. I could write the lyrics and I could manage behind the scenes, tell people what to do.
Well you are good at all of that for sure. And you can beat off the fan girls. Do you ever worry about that when he is on the road?
No. I trust him completely. It’s weird because until you are with someone that you trust completely you don’t really understand the concept. It’s not in his realm of possibilities to do something.
I’m so glad you found him.
He is a really nice, nice guy. But without being a pussy. He’s a gentlemen. He bought me a car for Mother’s Day. I never had anyone buy me anything so nice.
Wow. I like him already. And you are directing him, when he does sex scenes? How do you do that?
There were other people that I dated and that drove me crazy. I couldn’t even be on set. I would be so jealous. And here I am with Brendon, someone that I care more about than any of those guys and it doesn’t bother me at all. I think it goes back to I completely trust him.
That’s great. Must be hard for him to get wood though while his girlfriend/baby mama watches him have sex with someone else.
He says it’s easier for him when I am there. The first set he went to without me, he bombed. He said that because I wasn’t there he felt like he was doing something wrong. Now he’s been on forty scenes. That was the only time he had any trouble. He’s a really strong performer. And working for Wicked he does all those scenes with a condom.
I heard about you being on set for his second scene.
Yep. It was for Brazzers. I went and waited for him in the other room and he was fine. I didn’t want anyone to think I was the jealous girlfriend. It was Kieran (Lee) and Kirsten (Price) so I just hung out.

I’m so glad you are happy. You always had a great work life, but it seems like now you have everything.
Yeah. My career, professionally was phenomenal. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I have done so much amazing stuff. I think about my life. I grew up in Louisiana, and sometimes we didn’t have electricity and sometimes we didn’t have food and my clothes never fit, just this horrible life. And now I’ve been on private jets, and been around the world and met famous people and gone to a movie theater and seen myself on the screen. I am so blessed. And the best part is now that all of that has afforded me the knowledge on how to be a better Mom. I want to take her to all the amazing places to where I’ve been. And let’s not lie that takes money, and I can afford to take her to the museum and let her take music classes. All the things my Mom couldn’t afford. Whatever she wants to do, it’s nice to know that I can do that for her.
I’m sure she will be taking pony lessons.
For sure. So for that career aspect I wouldn’t change any of it. On a personal level, I was not happy. And now I am very happy.
Happy is so good. And you get to see your man tonight, don’t you?
Yes, An overnight flight, so technically in the morning. And the baby hasn’t met Zoe yet. (Zoe Britton)
I’m surprised Zoe isn’t her godmother or something.
Do you know the running joke here? I always call Zoe my other baby’s Mama because we’re not really sure, sometime during that week that the baby was conceived, one of those nights, Zoe came home with me and Brendon. So the whole time I was pregnant, Zoe said, what are you going to do if she comes out with MY eyes! (Laughs)
(Laughs) Well the baby came out with blue eyes, so you’re okay.
Yeah, and she has super blonde hair, and my hair is naturally black.
Black?
Yes, and Brendon has blondish hair.
You look so natural blonde.
My hair is coal black, like my dad who is full-blooded Cherokee.
I would love to see a picture of you with black hair. So you say Brendon is good at everything, so obviously he is good in bed…
Yes. He eats very good box. (Laughs)
You have a couple new movies out.
Snatched is my next one out. It stars Kaylani and she is my favorite actress to direct. I am always excited when I get to shoot a Kaylani movie.
Are you performing in that movie as well?
I am, but it’s her movie. I have a supporting part.
Because we want to watch you have sex too.
Yeah, I’m in it.
In Perfect Partner, you have sex with a guy and a girl, right?
Yes I do a boy/girl with Bill Bailey and a girl/girl With Chanel Preston.
And who does Brendon have sex with?
Amy Brooke.
Did you direct his sex scene?
Yeah, and I thought they were gonna kill each other until. People kept telling me you have to book this girl she is crazy. My crew said have you ever seen one of her scenes? You are going to like this. I said do you think she is going to hurt Brendon and they were like, yes. I said perfect! When she showed up she said, is this anal? And I said no. She said, can we do anal? And I said who am I to tell your butthole no. She said Yes! That’s my favorite. So I went and told Brendon, guess what you are doing today, anal. And he was like, WHAT! He’d never done it before. It was a great scene. I thought we were going to have to turn the hose on them.
So did Brendon watch you film your scenes?
No, because the Chanel scene, we had to do as a pick up scene. Brendon was not in town and he was bummed because he wanted to see that one. I ended up getting carpet burn on my stomach in one of the dialog scenes. It was a scene where I get fired and TJ Cummings is a security guard and they throw me out of the building and he tackles me and drags me out, and one of the takes my shirt came up and I got carpet burn down my whole tummy. Chanel & my scene was in a bathtub full of bubbles and water and I couldn’t touch my burn with water. So I had to cancel the scene and we did it on another day. But he edits my scenes so he sees them all eventually.
Do you guys watch porn at home?
No. I know everybody. He totally watches porn. He has a membership to the Wicked website and he watches all the movies on line. And the fucker bought a Fleshlight.
Whose did he buy?
That’s what I wanted to know! But it’s the generic one. It’s not anybody in particular. He told me he wants mine, but I don’t have one.

You have so many new and exciting things going on in your life. And you also have Wicked, that’s been in your life since the beginning of your porn career.
Yes, I think I am the longest running contract star ever. I have been with Wicked Pictures over ten years. Jessica and Kaylani are right behind me. Jesse has been at Digital a long time too, but I have her beat by eight or nine months. I don’t think anyone has been has had a contract longer than me!
