Shelley Says “No way did I ask Someone to Lie for Me”

Cindi,
No way did I ask JJ to lie for me. I know exactly who it is because I have ALL the messages and it wasn’t an email but on Myspace.
JJ has been helping me expose pornography for almost two years now and I have MANY statements from her. Sometimes I have had to help girls write their statements AFTER THEY SEND THEM TO ME because frankly  some of them don’t know how to write properly but I ALWAYS send it back to them for approval and to make sure they check it for accuracy. I have never asked a woman or man to lie for me.

She is showing you a myspace message out of context. She has given me many statements in the past saying she had stds in porn, drug abuse, illegal activity on the porn sets, prostitution and more so I asked her to tell me if she had anything regarding Vivid. She did reply and sent me information that she believed Tom Sizemore was not tested. So this is why I replied to her and asked her to give a statement. She never wrote “truthfully replied that i was tested and never caught anything from someone on their set”.

That’s a straight out lie.

She has gone on and on in the past about her pain and stds during her time in porn. Now all the sudden she changes her mind about it? She also recently did a radio show where she tells how much I personally helped her. In fact, she has done a couple shows talking about how me and Pink Cross Foundation. You can find them here: http://www.podomatic.com/search?query=######

I don’t understand at all why she would do this except to say she must really be hurting to do lash out and do these types of things.  JJ is also known to have significantly hurt other ministries. You should ask her about it.
I can’t even go into every detail because it would be cruel to JJ to expose her. Not to mention hurt the other ministries.  So I’ll take the heat but you know I would never ask a girl to lie.

Did I ask a couple women to tell me if they experienced any abuse or stds while working for Vivid, yes you bet I did. Steve Hirsh has been known to say the adult industry does a good job at policing itself. In AVN article it also says:
“Hirsch pointed out that since 2004 performers have acted in several hundred thousand-sex scenes shot by adult studios in the San Fernando Valley and there has only been one reported case of HIV.” Now he can’t prove that. He is lying. He is misleading the public.

"It is far more dangerous for a person to have sex with someone they meet casually in a bar than it is for people who act in a carefully policed adult film setting. We are confident that we are taking all precautions and the results to date demonstrate that this is the case," he said.

Funny how he doesn’t talk about any of his actresses getting stds and says casual sex is safer. That’s ridiculous.

Well, that was something I needed to address and will continue to address. I do definitely have women who worked for Vivid who are willing to talk and one of them claims they allowed her to work without a test. I have only just begun my research on Vivid and will keep researching. And I don’t need to ask any anyone to lie. Guaranteed.

“Steve Hirsh has been known to say the adult industry does a good job at policing itself”

Bill Asher is a fine example of the industry policing itself. Just ask SMG.

  2. Girls like JJ need REBT and a psychotherapist. Yes Jesus saves but people need a little human direction.

  3. it’s pretty sick to see a successful actress like Ms Lubben tearing apart those very people who brought her to the heights of her career. So much bitter and ugly energy being wasted on this. I can’t see what she hopes to accomplish..other than meanspirited attacks on others, who are working to make a living.

  4. The President says:

In other words, Lubben coaches and suggests and guides statements but never lies. This is no revelation nor any surprise, it’s as shady and two-faced as it has ever been.

——I don’t understand at all why she would do this except to say she must really be hurting to do lash out and do these types of things. I love this passive aggressive shit. Is it any wonder why nobody ever takes Lubben’s debates and attempts at testimony before the government seriously?

  5. the general says:

    “In other words, coaches….”
Kind of like what any good lawyer does when prepping a client to testify, or what a good publicist does to make their client look good.

  6. Third Axis says:

This just gets more ridiculous by the day. Where are the big, fat Jimmy Swaggart tears when ya really need ’em?

    Help me, Jesus!

  7. Harvey Dent Says:

Bill Asher is a fine example of the industry policing itself.

You mean the same “man” that caused Stefani Morgan to flee from porn after what he did to her?

  8. sammyglick says:

What did happen to Asher? Wasn’t he the ‘public face of Vivid’ for many years and all of a sudden, Hirsch took over this duty…

  9. freepornstarpix says:

Shelley wants a tv show for her and her husband. This proves her motives are not pure as I have always felt from day one, because of the way that she pimped out her underage children’s photos on her site and told that story about her oldest daughter being fathered by a client.

  10. I got an email from Shelley simply asking if I or Elli had worked for and had any problems with Vivid or a number of the other companies listed in their complaint. She also asked if I knew anyone else who was willing to come forward with information about bad experiences in porn or problems with diseases.

There is nothing wrong with the email she sent out. She is simply trying to gather evidence for their complaint. Perfectly normal and ethical to do in a legal case. The person who gave out that tainted email here changed the words and meaning totally to try to slander Shelley. That is not the email she sent out!!

Won’t work to try to discredit her with this bullshit. They are a great group who’ve helped Elli and I transition back into normal life. They’ve helped us get set up back in FL, they’ve paid bills for us and given us grocery cards to buy supplies. They’ve even given me resume help to update mine for job searches. These people are great and will help anyone that really wants out. They will make sure you succeed if you want to leave Porn Valley. Call or email them, you’ll see!!

  11. And I thought this was a valid site for factual information. The fact that you started this whole piece with the statement “The story that follows has to be considered a rumor. I can’t yet confirm that the e-mails I have received are from the people they SAY they are from” should’ve been a clue to yourself not to post it and to your readers to know it’s bullshit.

This is a sad attempt of Steve Hirsch and his fuck buddies to try to stop Shelley from doing her good deeds. She is truly courageous to have taken this battle on.

Shame on you for posting this without verifying and knowing it’s a valid source. It’s not very professional or ethical reporting. You can so easily become one of them with shit like this. You know full well these porn producers create aliases all over in forums and emails to talk shit!!!

Tara and Darrah, I’m surprised by you both here!!!!

Desi, you have your food vouchers and a spanking-new resume, so take a hike to the nearest 99-cent store, and while you’re at, apply for a job. Nobody here cares what you think.

  13. Harvey Dent says:

“What did happen to Asher? Wasn’t he the ‘public face of Vivid’ for many years and all of a sudden, Hirsch took over this duty…”

Check the archives on Stefanie Morgan here in Luke is Back.

Lets say something, after Luke Ford published some entries of Stefi`s Myspace blog, LAPD banged the door on Bill Asher house. Stefi was allowed to quit Vivid for Pimpwich (is like jumping from the pan into the fire!) and then she disappeard from porn.

  14. MonicaFoster says:

It’s a shame considering all the good that this woman does for women who need the assistance in changing their life towards a direction that they’re more comfortable with, that she’s being attacked.

  15. ernestgreene says:

It’s a shame, considering all the bucks Lubben has collected by being a professional porn-basher, that she and her organization haven’t been audited by the IRS to see if they really are a non-profit operation.

People don’t live on faith, and Ms. Lubben appears to live rather well.

  16. The Colonel says:

You’re spot on, Mr. Greene. I suggest we make a report about Shelly Lubben and Pink Cross Foundation to IRS and indicate they might be in violation of Income Tax Law.

We can do so by downloading Form 3949 A (Information Referral), from IRS web site, complete the form and mail it to:

    Internal Revenue Service
    Fresno, CA 93888

The result might turn out to be very interesting and revealing.

Desi Foxx uses the word ‘ethical’. The same old whore who had her daughter chugging felon cum to pay the rent. Please dry up, you old slag….

  18. freepornstarpix says:

Desi, I do doubt Shelley’s motives. I was told by a perfomer who contacted Shelley for help in leaving porn to return to school that Shelley would only help if she said that she had been abused in porn and would say that porn was bad, make videos ‘testifying’ to abuse in porn, etc. Shelley also harassed Taryn Thomas and jessica drake via email to take her ‘help’. There were some other performers she targeted too. I do see that she has been a great help to you and Elli, but she is not pure in her intentions or actions. Not at all.

Nina summed up Shelley best when she said that Shelley was still performing but for a different audience.

  19. ernestgreene says:

Re Taryn Thomas, here are the specifics of her email exchange with the compassionate and loving MS. Lubben:

    Hi Taryn,

My name is Shelley Lubben and I am a former porn actress who reaches out to girls in the porn and sex industry the past three years.

Recently, MTV Producers approached me and asked me if they could film my current work of helping girls out of the porn industry.

If you visit my (MySpace) profile you will see I help girls leave the porn industry and assist them as they rebuild their lives after porn. The reason this appealed to me is because I could help many MORE girls if my work was filmed on TV. I want to start a foundation to help all girls in the sex industry once the TV show is up and running.

I looked at your profile and thought I would ask you if you are interested in being filmed as well. They are looking for girls who want to leave a life of porn and make a better life for themselves. They want to follow the girl’s story so you would be in a main role on the show. They will be offering pay as well you will be on a mainstream TV series and get much exposure and many better opportunities than what porn could ever offer you.

My heart is to see girls escape porn and live the lives they were meant to live. All porn offers is pressure to do sex acts, hooking, drugs, abusive men, risking your life everyday to catch sexual transmitted diseases and cervical cancer and possibly miscarriages. I personally caught Herpes a non-curable disease, have had three miscarriages, cervical cancer and an ectopic pregnancy. Yes porn and prostitution ruined my life for many years but I have been able to rebuild my life and now it’s my heart to help other girls.

I absolutely believe you were made for much greater things than porn.

Let me know if you are interested.

And if you are not interested, I wish you all the happiness in the world!

    Much love to you,

    Shelley

PS: Please check out my profile to get to know me.

    Taryn responded:

    Hi Shelley:

I respect what you are doing, but I feel you are saying things about the porn world that are not entirely true. I don’t know when you were in porn or what happen in your career to make you say these things about the industry. In my time in porn I have never once been to a set where the director has offered me drugs or alcohol. Nor have i ever seen a girl shooting up, smoking crack, sniffing coke, drinking etc on set. And I am sure it does go on but I have never seen it nor do i want to.

Honestly if i did see that on set or if i was offered it i would walk right off set. Simply bc of the fact I am sober now for a year and six months do to a small relapse I had last year after being sober for 4 years. At this time I am making my comeback into porn after taking almost 2 years off and want nothing more to continue with my porn career and be even more successful than before. During my two years off I did not struggle I went to cosmetology school, & real estate school and had a normal job working a pharmacy tech like I did before porn.

Also was able to live comfortably bc of all the money I saved working in porn. Right now I am actually working with a producer (mainstream) to film a documentary on my return to porn and my family in general. I am fortunate to have come from a upper class family, with a good up bringing. I feel the need to tell you all this bc you only seem to want to shed light on the bad things in porn instead of focusing on the bad and good. I think it’s people like you that make out industry look so bad when it’s really not. So I think you should try to shed light on both sides now that’s an idea!

    Taryn

    Taryn,

You are lying. I am being very nice not mentioning things about you publicly because I respect you. But I know quite a bit about you. More than you can imagine. Are you sure you’ve never done drugs on the set? Hmmmmm.

    Shelley,

Taryn responded to this thinly-veiled blackmail threat accordingly:

    Shelly,

I have never met you in my life nor do I wish to. You emailed me out of the blue. You are now making false statements about me, and have about the industry for sometime. Please do not email me again. I am very happy with my life and career. And will never be apart of your cause. I am for porn 100% till the day I die. Again do NOT email me again.

    Thanks Taryn

Gee, this sounds kind of familiar. Troll some performers for smack to be used against producers and if the performers don’t fall into lock-step, threaten them privately and slag them in public. When none of that works, just make shit up and attach their names to it.

All in a typical day of doing the lord’s work.

If Jesus could see what this vicious con artist spews out in his name, he’d never be able to stop throwing up.

  20. Third Axis says:

An interesting note regarding the Pink Cross Foundation, is that Section 501(c)(3) organizations are subject to limits or absolute prohibitions on engaging in political activities. Seems their recent activities would be considered quite “political,” don’t you think?

    What say you, Shelley?

  21. Harvey Dent says:

“Seems their recent activities would be considered quite “political,” don’t you think?”

I do not have a horse on Shelley’s race, but asking OSHA to enforce the law is not partisan politics. If fact Shelley’s allies here belong to the left and they are just saying they are enforcing workers right to safe working enviroment and health care due to work related injuries and diseases.

Shelley novelty here is that she is using a left wing discourse for a right wing cause.

  22. ernestgreene says:

Lubben isn’t “asking” for anything. She’s filing administrative complaints and engaging in public advocacy for a specifically political cause on the taxpayer’s dime.

PCF’s tax exemption is a travesty. So is AHF’s for that matter.

  23. the general says:

    Third,
I maght actually be agreeing with you about the 501c3 non profits engaging in political activites.

For the record, AIM is a 501c3 non profit also. Do the same rules apply to them?

  24. Harvey Dent says:

“She’s filing administrative complaints” Not familiar with US law but filling complaints is a right of everyone, not just of profesional politicians.

“engaging in public advocacy for a specifically political cause on the taxpayer’s dime”

Thats is more troublesome, but to what extent public advocasy becomes political?
If she endorses a particular law or cantidate yes.
But if she just says, “OSHA blood borne pathogens policies shall also be enforced in porn” how is that political?”

Again, Harvey Dent is playing Devil´s (or is Jesus?) attorney here.

  25. the general says:

    ERNEST,
    Read the actual complaints.

Int the box labeled COMPLAINTANT: AIDS Healthcare Foundation.

    Signature: Michaeal Weinstein (President)

Nothing on any of the complaints if from Sheley Lubben or Pink Cross. they merely support what AHF is doing.

And since when is Blood Borne Pathogen and OPIM healthcode violations a ‘political’ cause.

And if its a pokitical cause for the Pink Cross 501c3 organization, wouldnt it be a Political cause for the AIM 501c3 organization too. Doesnt AIM work very closely with and use the lobby arm of the Free Speech Coalition to lobby in Sacremento. Maybe someone should look into what these 501c3 organizations are doing and who they are getting support form and giving support to. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, right.

FREEPIX, thanks to the link to that form. I might just use one to see what type of “lobbying” AIM has been up to lately.

Harvey, as the devils advocate, wouldnt you agree that the same rules apply to AIM?

  26. the general says:

    Colonel and Tird,
Regarding taryns above emails…isnt it an accepted truth here that all porn whores lie? Or is that just when it fits the agenda, like on the other thread about AIMS stats, and you said about Sharon Mitchell…”even if she does lie…”

    LOL

  27. ernestgreene says:

Do not confuse what I say here or elsewhere as an individual with AIM’s official activities. AIM does not lobby, does not work closely with FSC other than in an advisory capacity on issues specific to healthcare issues. AIM has taken public positions on certain subjects directly related to its mission, as in the 2004 legislative hearings in which AIM representatives gave testimony and offered opinions based on its particular area of expertise at the request of the investigative committee.

AIM, no matter what anyone here or elsewhere says, thinks or does, is about its job, not about politics and not about money. AIM’s lawyers, understanding the sensitivity of the clinic’s situation, have been very cautious about associating the organization with any political cause. You will not, for instance, find any official representation from AIM in the annual lobbying campaign conducted by the FSC at the state capitol.

Individuals associated with AIM, however, enjoy the same First Amendment rights as other citizens and as such, can and do speak their minds on whatever they like, such as I’m doing here. But I don’t try to raise money for AIM based on selling a particular political agenda, which is what both AHF and PCF are doing in this latest round of grandstanding.

Yes, general, I’ve read the actual complaints, rather earlier than you did I imagine, and am very well aware of who signed them, which makes Lubben’s presence in this affair all the more suspect. Since she isn’t just a citizen making a complaint based on unselfish concern for the safety of others, what the fuck was she doing at the press conference in the first place if not pushing her political agenda? Though all parties to those complaints want people to think otherwise, their intentions are entirely political.

They want to put porn out of business in California and this is the weapon they hope will do the trick, which Lubben freely admits, believing erroneously that making porn shooting in impossible in this state would destroy the industry altogether.

Meantime, if you have many useless hours to waste – and you obviously do – go ahead and file any bullshit you like concerning AIM’s non-profit compliance. That’s already been tried and it’s already failed. AIM operates within the law.

It’s everybody else in this ugly mess who needs to be looking over a shoulder.

  28. the general says:

    Well stated Ernest,
We ahve had chatboard discussions in the past, and I find your particular spin very informative. For the record, Shelley has the same first ammendment rights as anybody else.

Regading the compliaints, it was your above post where you said..”She is filing administrative complaints…” and “engaging in public advocacy”…… I beleive she was just exercising her rights to speak on behalf of those who filed the complaints. Your statemtnt seemed to indicate that Shelley filed the complaints.

You read them earlier than I did. Now thats a pretty big ASSupmtion there Ernie.

And since youre here Ernie(if you can call me corpral I can call names too), why hasnt AIM, for all these years, RECOMMENDED as part of the VOLUNTARY testing procedure, anal and throat swabs for gonn and chlam. With al the anal and oral sex, and the FACT that these diseases can be asymptomatic for months, isnt this part of the INDUSTRY VOLUNTARY program? How can anybody, with half a brain, virtually ignore theses diseases, especially the clinic that is used for this voluntary program.

And why should anyone be looking over their shoulder, is somone going to get stabbed in the back or somehting? As far as that goes Ernie, I got eyes in the back of my head. I have a 360 degree view of this entire situation.

ANd speaking of useless hours…havent you spent just about your entire adult life in the porn biz, and youre talking to me about useless hours?

  29. Third Axis says:

Haven’t you suffered enough humiliation already, little general?

Honestly, you demean yourself with this weak rhetoric. Even weaker is your credibility, as evidenced by your need to make misrepresentations here. Useless? You’re writing the book on that subject before our very eyes.

  30. the general says:

    ERNIE,
Regarding AIM’s “…particular area of expertise..”
I would imagine that would be HIV and std’s, and the trnasmission, and preventntion of the transmissions of these diseases. So, why is it not part of the recommended monthly screening to test for gonn/chlam in the throat and anus? Is this just personal choice by the performers, or would the result being sent to the county be too much for them to ignore. Urine tests only, and no throat and anal swabs. The cat is out of the bag now Ernie. Lets see that 1.8% postive rate stat(dircet quote from sharon Mitchell) stay that low when you start testing =every month for oral and anal infections.

third and colonel, I dont think even you two can argue with the absurdity of NOT testing for gonn/chlam in the throat and anus can you? Safer to have sex with a pornstar.(LMAO) For all these years I just assumed they did anal and throat swabs. How could any ‘healthcare foudation’ ignore this. This is priceless. The PORN biz says everyone gets tested every month, but they dont test oral and anal gonn/chlam. This is a fucking JOKE isnt it? Please tell me this is a joke. Please, somebody tell me I am misinformed and they DO test for this every month.

  31. Tara and Darrah, I’m surprised by you both here!!!!

Desi, all I brought up here was about Bill Asher. He’s number 2 at Vivid and Stefani Morgan told anyone she could that he had raped her a few years ago. She said this on her Myspace blogs, AdultDVDTalk, and Luke Ford kept records of it all. She’s no longer in porn after the police did nothing and friends like Monique Alexander turned their backs on her.

  32. ernestgreene says:

What’s really useless is talking to porn bashers who post on porn chat threads as if they had functioning frontal lobes, so I won’t be bothering with any of that here again.

Anal and throat swabs are done routinely at AIM when other tests show up positive or on request by performers. Very rarely have such tests done in the absence of a positive urine screen revealed any reportable infections. And when they have, those infections have been reported per legal requirements.

Again, go to the AIM site and try reading, which I realize is a strain for the semi-literate, but perhaps you could handle it if you try real hard.

As to the rest, Shelley did not file the complaints herself but chose to feature in the center ring of the circus put on by those who did. Yes, she was exercising her First Amendment rights, as I exercise mine for calling her out as a liar and a hypocrite.

As for the watching of backs, those who violate federal laws regarding misuse of non-profit status can find themselves in serious trouble, which is why AIM, contrary to what some have said here, does not ally itself with dubious political crusades and offers only information solicited by others.

Wasted my adult life in porn? How can that be when you get to meet such charming people?

  33. Third Axis says:

So there’s your answer, lowercase g. See, if you squeak long enough, you’ll eventually get squirted with oil.

It actually went without saying that those procedures have always been available to adult performers – on a voluntary basis, as they should be. The same applies to testing for all STIs outside of the normal accepted panel – they are available, and should be done on a voluntary basis. I began recommending a full comprehensive panel to my performers some time ago; however, I maintain that it should remain a recommendation, and not a requirement.

I’d be very interested to see the reaction of every other industry in the State of California, and among the state’s workers/taxpayers—not to mention the ACLU—if it was mandated that every worker/taxpayer be required to take a panel of medical tests (apart from the accepted physical for insurance purposes, where such is available) before being allowed to go to work.

    Very interested indeed.

  34. ernestgreene says:

    Third Axis,

You bring up a very interesting and very important point that those so loudly pushing for mandatory condoms and the general supervision of porn performers by Cal-OSHA and/or other government agencies seem to conveniently overlook.

Under the laws of the state of California re employment discrimination against those who are HIV positive, it is ILLEGAL to require HIV testing as a condition of employment. In fact, it is illegal to even ask a potential employee about his or her HIV status.

Furthermore, it is ILLEGAL to deny employment to anyone on the basis of HIV+ status.

If performers were reclassified from independent contractors to employees and made subject to the full range of state employee supervision, it would be ILLEGAL to bar anyone from working in porn, even if said individual volunteered the information that he or she was HIV+.

A producer would then have to choose between hiring an HIV+ performer, denying that performer employment and risking stiff penalties for discrimination, or finding someone willing to work with an HIV+ or status-unknown partner.

In fact, if another performer refused to work with this person on the grounds that the objecting performer was HIV- and wanted to stay that way, it would be the HIV- performer who would have to be replaced.

But if we had mandatory condoms, what’s the problem, right?

Get serious. Condoms work well enough for preventing HIV transmission under ordinary circumstances. According to Masters and Johnson, the typical sex act in this country lasts 11 minutes from start to finish.

Porn scenes take hours to shoot, with mulitple positions and long hold times, during which condoms are much more likely to slip off, break, roll and otherwise lose effectiveness. As I refuse to shoot for companies that forbid codom use as a matter of principle, I’ve recorded hours and hours of condom sex and I can tell you that we’ve had to stop numerous times to fish stray rubbers out of performers’ insides.

So, knowing that, what HIV- performer in his or her right mind would choose to work with someone who was positive or untested, condom or no?

Would anyone reading this who isn’t already positive choose to have sex of any kind with someone who was, regardless of barrier protections? I certainly wouldn’t.

And yet if the screamers have their way, the nightmare scenario described above might become the norm, which I believe to be the real agenda behind the whole outcry for mandatory condoms in porn.

The anti-discrimination laws regarding HIV apply to all industries in California, including healthcare, where the potential for accidental exposure of patients to HIV by HIV+ providers is very real, which is one reason the blood-borne pathogen standard is so strict (requiring face-masks and gloves for all potential instances of contact – kinda difficult for porn). This standard is meant to protect patients as much as it is healthcare workers.

But wouldn’t any law governing condom use in porn make specific exceptions to the most restrictive regulations?

Nope. Not according to the Cal-OSHA talking heads at the 2004 legislative hearings. And not according to the ACLU, whose lawyers made it very clear that they have fought off challenges to the anti-discrimination provisions by other industries seeking “special” exemptions, and would do so in the case of the porn industry with every expectation of success.

And how well do condoms without testing work in porn as a means of preventing HIV transmission?

Since 1993, two het performers – John Holmes and Lisa DeLeeuw – have died of AIDS. Both are believed to have contracted the disease through needle-sharing during IV drug use and not at work.

During that same period, in gay porn, where they do not test and rely strictly on condoms, a total of 166 performers have died of AIDS. Check out this link if you think I’m making these stats up:

    http://www.rame.net/faq/deadporn

There are co-risk factors in the gay performer community that skew the probabilities, but the absolute numbers are pretty disturbing.

If it comes down to a choice between condoms and testing as a result of a lawsuit filed by an HIV+ performer who wanted to work on the het side, the industry would dry up and blow away overnight, and rightly so.

It would be the depth of irresponsibility to risk exposing an uninfected performer, particularly a female performer already at higher risk by virtue of being the receptive partner, to HIV by banking on the reliability of condoms alone when paired with a sero-positive or status-unknown player. The condom breaks and she’s a goner.

That’s what’s really at stake behind all the noble rhetoric about “protecting” performers. The real intention is to make this business so risky and complex that no one will participate in it. If they still choose to do so, it could only be with a return to the old, pre-AIM practice of allowing performers to “informally” discuss their HIV status with one another. Performers could still test voluntarily with no centralized monitoring, and be free to forge tests like Marc Wallice did back in 1997.

Now, with this information on the table, do the condom crusaders’ motives still appear so noble and reasonable?

  35. Third Axis says:

Right you are, Ernest. The ACLU has made their position on this issue very clear already. The State of CA, and it’s legal representatives, are well aware of the potential legal morass presented by the AHF and its attempt to force more useless tort on an already strapped state budget. It’s my opinion that what we’ll see is some degree of placation followed by disinterest from the state – going through the motions, with a select group of lawyers making a fast buck off all the hoopla.
