Yes, my stress level has been building up. And the upcoming convention hasn’t helped.
But of course, worst of all for me is all the damn ads, on the web, on TV, everywhere, about getting a Mother’s Day gift. Well for the first time in my whole life, I don’t have anyone to buy a Mother’s Day gift for. I don’t have a Mom.
So life has been tough for me lately. Especially the last week or so. And I knew that with the convention, full moon & Mother’s Day it was not going to be a pleasant happening for me.
It is now Friday 6am. Luckily I have some great guys that are going to go set up my booth today. If you are at the convention, do me a favor and keep an eye on it for me. Grab some mags. It should be fully stocked with Xcitement mags. But I won’t be there to watch it.
I know I should be there all day every day, but I just can’t. I’m a mess.
If this were my normal life the convention would be really hard for me, but add on top of it the no Mom thing, and I am about tapped out.
I think I should tell you something about myself. Well actually I am afraid to tell you something about myself, but I think I need to tell you about it anyway…..
All i can give you is it will get easier. Just not right now!
Mine is my birthday and Mothers Day. My Dad would have spoiled me rotten on both.
Open a bottle of wine, finish the bottle of wine cry and laugh, to your moms memory.
Remind yourself how Special you are. Tell Mom you Love her.
I support you in whatever you do and you know I’m an almond, pistachio or some other kind of nut too.
You still have a mom, baby, she’s just not here right now, I think you should buy her a big bunch of flowers and put them on your table so she can enjoy them.
Please don’t be sad. Your mother wouldn’t want you to be. You should go out and have her favorite meal and celebrate her life. You can still talk to her because she’s always near you. Or write a long letter and get your feelings all out to your mother sort of like a cleansing.
