Sasha Grey on Entourage

Sasha Grey will have a re-occuring role on the upcoming season of Entourage. She will play herself in the role of Vince’s girlfriend.

“Sasha’s the biggest porn star in the world right now, and when Soderbergh casts her as the lead of his movie, I take notice,” Entourage creator Doug Ellin said.

If someone who watches this show anyway would like to keep us up on how Sasha does I’d appreciate it.

That is an impressive score for her in a mainstream gig.

I suggest Sasha Grey wears her Palestinian flag in her brief, pathetic, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it role in Entourage. That’ll be interesting to watch in the same category as this dramatic chipmunk:

That chipmonk was amazing! Did he study at Van Mar Academy? I hear he’s also an existentialist and will be in Star Wars Episode 7: Revenge of the Chipmonks. Here’s a preview!

Btw, has anyone seen that Sodaburger movie Sasha was in? I’ve read mixed reviews.

Are you sure it’s just a blink of the eye role, Colonel? It says it’s recurring (or “re-occuring”)… recurring blink of the eye appearances? Well, I guess, if such is good enough for our beloved and multi-talented chipmonk, why not?

Anyway, in other important news, Rotton Tomatoes movie reviews has just confirmed my cynical suspicions about Robin Hood:

    “Robin Hood
Robin Hood is a merry man, right? Doesn’t he rob from the rich and give to the poor? Well, not in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood, and the film suffers from its deviation from the legend, despite its impressive visuals and strong performances. Russell Crowe stars as the titular hero, returning to Sherwood Forrest from the Crusades reluctantly deciding that England needs some cleaning up. To that end, he teams with a motley bunch that will become the Merry Men, as well as the recently widowed Lady Marion (Cate Blanchet); swordplay and archery ensues. The pundits say that although Robin Hood is handsomely produced and well-acted, it’s way too downbeat and lacks the sense of fun that made previous big-screen retellings so memorable and exhilarating. (Check out our feature, Legendary Heroes on Film, as well as this week’s Total Recall, in which we count Russell Crowe’s best-reviewed films.)”

That chipmunk is a bigger star than Sasha Grey, that’s for sure. In addition to the new Star Wars movie, he’ll also feature in the next James Bond movie. Here’s the preview:

As for Robin Hood reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, right now Robin Hood’s Tomatometer is %45, not bad for a movie that hasn’t been released and many movie critics haven’t seen yet. It may or may not be as good as The Gladiator, but it’ll certainly be the best movie in weeks, if not months. The last good movie I saw in theater was Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island which came out in February. After that, every movie I saw were disappointing. It’s time for a change, for devil’s sake.

Here’s our beloved chipmunk hero being caught in the act watching animal porn. It’s quite an amazing performance, even rivaling some of his previous work!: I have to admit he’s a real natural when it comes to acting! He’s the new IT!

Regarding the latest Robin Hood, you say it’s time for a change. I would argue that this movie is the same look and style, not only of Gladiator, but of modern day depictions of action hero themes, in general.

I think big directors should be bravehearts and dare hire someone, (even an unknown, God forbid!) who fits the style of Robin Hood; fun, less gladiator like, with the emphasis on stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.

Instead of hiring the same highly sucessful actors over and over and over and over and over, why not save a fuck load of money, discover and MAKE the next big _____ ______ star? That would be brave, indeed, and the right thing to do. I’m tired of seeing the same stars over and over, although certain well knowns definitely are suited for certain roles.

Maybe they can hire Sasha Grey to play a female Robin Hood. She steals through high fees from rich porn producers and gives to starving porn stars who haven’t worked in weeks. Then she gets gangbanged by a bunch of merry men. Good Times!

  7. The Colonel says:

When I said it’s time for a change, I meant there haven’t been any good movies in weeks, if not months, and it’s time for a change and seeing a good, solid movie. I believe Russell Crowe is definitely the right choice to play Robin Hood, but on the other hand I have no objection to casting new actors in epic roles as long as they can deliver a powerful performance. For instance Sam Worthington is a new comer who’s been in 3 major movies in the past year: Avatar, Terminator Salvation and Clash of the Titans. He’s got the looks, charisma and capability to become the next Mel Gibson or Russell Crowe. Another example is Andy Whitfield who played the main role in Starz’ series Spartacus: Blood and Sand, he’s incredible. Nowadays good new actors don’t come along too often, but they still come along regardless.

Russell Crowe Storms Out Of Interview Over ‘Robin Hood’ Accent Questions

    Source: Access Hollywood

Moviegoers who think they detect a hint of an Irish accent in Russell Crowe ‘s ” Robin Hood ” might want to think twice before telling that to the Australian actor – his reaction might not be so merry.

On Wednesday, Russell walked out of an interview with BBC Radio’s Mark Lawson at the Cannes Film Festival when he was questioned if there was a hint of an Irish accent in his latest big screen character.

“You’ve got dead ears, mate. You’ve seriously got dead ears if you think that’s an Irish accent,” Russell said, followed by a British slang expletive.

The 46-year-old actor continued with the interview and then paused to go back to the accent question, saying, “I’m a little dumbfounded you could possibly find any Irish in that character. That’s kind of ridiculous, but it’s your show.”

The interviewer then asked, “You were going for Northern English?”

“No I was going for an Italian, yeah. Missed it?” Russell said laughing.

Russell is then asked about a report that while filming 2000’s “Gladiator” that he didn’t want to say the movie’s famous line, “I’ll take my revenge in this life or the next,” which promptly ended the interview.

“I don’t get the Irish thing, by the way. I don’t get it at all,” Russell can be heard saying, while heading to the door.

  9. The Colonel says:

I read about that interview, too, but so what? Russell Crowe has always been infamous for having a nasty temper. A few years ago he got into an argument with an asshole hotel receptionist and threw the phone at him. *Storming out of an interview* couldn’t be any worse than that. Other good actors have nasty tempers, too, Jack Nicholson, Mel Gibson and Kiefer Sutherland immediately come to mind. In any case, I don’t care about an actor’s personality and private life, that’s none of my business. What I expect from an actor is to deliver a good, powerful, solid onscreen performance, and as long as he delivers that perfomance that’ll be good enough for me.

  10. jeremiahsteele says:

I just thought you might be interested, also his accent is put into question, which I found amusing.

  11. Larry Horse says:

I’ve never wasted much time on Entourage, it seemed kind of stupid. Perfect for Sasha then. Main reason I cant watch the show is that walking turd Jeremy Piven. He makes me cringe, I liked him better when was just one of John Cusack’s bobos. He’s also a major cheap fuck. I cant stand most Chicago born and bred celebrities, Jim Belushi who constantly shows that the wrong Belushi died, Cusack, though he’s starting to pull back, Vince Vaughn who keeps it somewhat low but is one of those North Shore pretty boys et al. Bill Petersen from CSI is one of the few classy celebs from Chicago. Thanks Sodebergh for making this bitch a star.

  12. jeremiahsteele says:

I watched a few clips off youtube, Larry. Jeremy Piven’s acting is at best ok, nothing special. However, whoever that gay asian secretary of his is, is a lousy actor, although I think he’s a natural at being gay.

Regarding the comment: “Sasha’s the biggest porn star in the world right now, and when Soderbergh casts her as the lead of his movie, I take notice,” Entourage creator Doug Ellin said.

She isn’t saying anything about her performance in The Girlfriend Experience, so her statement suggests she’s simply exploiting the fact that she’s porn’s ambASSador to the mainstream world for ratings.

I’m gonna have to check out that TGE movie and will give an honest review. The boxcover for the movie is horrible; big, annoying dots and an idiotic looking profile photo of her with her mouth gaping open like a retard (but not wide enough to be engulfing a cock, although that’s probably what’s subliminally being represented), along with the promo at the bottom of the box saying “See it with someone you ****”, which is quite pathetic. I’m not looking forward to this movie, hope it’s better than “Sex, lies and videotape”, but I’m definitely curious at this point.

I’m sorry, I addressed Doug Ellin as a she, not a he, my bad
