What a waste of time and money.
Let see we have the ANE founders how in July in Burbank, Ca. Then LA Erotica some time this summer. Next is the AVN show in Miami, Fl. in Aug. We just had ILS in April. Also the Exotica Chicago and New Jersey. Oh hell lets not forget the Expo Mark that was in Puerto Rico. Like we need this many trade shows for this industry? As a distributor why would you need to go see the same products and the same people you already made deals with a month ago. Despite the total bull shit hype that AVN or Xbiz may run. The adult industry whether it be the novelty side or DVD side of things does not have anything that new or innovative each month to offer the store owner or distributor. With the DVD market in the toilet and never coming back. With consumer spending at it’s all time low, especially in the summer time. Why would a company spend the money? Ego? Need to feel important? Do drugs and party with the talent? It is really sad when I see some of these companies with their booths and ego out there and they can’t even pay there vendors what they owe.
I see people with full page adds in the different trade rags or at these shows and it is not even their money they are spending, it is the manufactures they owe thousands to. Oh well only in the jizz bizz does this business acumen make sense. Well that could be non-sense.

I was paging through my Yahoo Groups and saw that Fast Eddie, a well known “hobbyist”, passed away earlier this month. He was considered the “gold” standard for rating PSEs. On the other hand I heard Eddie also covered his costs as a business expense. Eddie looked like he never took care of himself. He was only 58 but always looked 10 years older.
