Never heard of him until now. Turns out he’s local to me (what a surprise..) and on OCSD his occupation is listed as “PHOTOGRAPH”.
He’ll be out in a year, have to pay some fines to the Victim Witness Emergency Fund, then have 4 years of probation – despite being sentenced on 12 counts. California doesn’t keep its people locked up for too long, it could even be less. Our laws are kinda messed up: Switchblades are illegal, ferrets are illegal, gerbils are illegal, obtaining a concealed weapons permit is impossible, yet we’re very light on sentencing hardened criminals and have been known to release them long before their sentences are served.
