Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that Team Wicked crossed the finish line in style Sunday October 14th, raising over $17,000 in the 28th annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles walkathon fundraiser. AIDS Walk Los Angeles is California’s largest AIDS fundraising event. Proceeds benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) and other Los Angeles County organizations that offer care and treatment for people living with the disease. Ms. drake personally raised $6,376.01 while actress Kortney Kane raised an equally astonishing $6,034.00.
Team Wicked’s involvement with the cause was spearheaded by Wicked Pictures contract star and emerging sexual wellness authority jessica drake, who has participated in the annual walkathon for several years. For 2012, she expanded her involvement in the event through the formation of Team Wicked, an alliance that included not only members of Wicked Pictures but a diverse cross-selection of adult and mainstream entertainment professionals. In solidarity with their friends in the adult industry, members of Team Wicked wore special “No on Measure B” T-shirts to voice their opposition to proposed legislation that would mandate the use of condoms and other products in adult films.
For Ms. drake, who celebrated her birthday with Team Wicked at The Abbey in West Hollywood after crossing the finish line, Sunday’s events will always hold a special significance. “There is only one word that sums up how I feel about this year’s AIDS Walk LA: Grateful.” Expanding on her team’s accomplishments she enthuses, “I’m so grateful to everyone who donated money or helped further our message, and I’m especially grateful to every member of Team Wicked that came out to walk with me, celebrate my birthday and support such a great cause! True, but that doesn’t mean they think everyone should be forced to use condoms. Plus the Prop B can also be used to force the use of dental dams and since Wicked does shoot g/g as well as cunnilingus scenes, it would still affect then
Someone’s got a mental jam pushing dental jams. And I applaud noble intentions but what kind of care is being provided? Deadly drugs based on tests which say they are believed to be HIV, “confirmed” by other tests which also say “believed” to be HIV, all with known false positives? Also, raising money for AIDS acknowledges there’s a problem with sex leading to AIDS, but this has been proven to be bullshit. Big money pushes these scams and it amazes me this scam goes on. If someone has a video of John, a popular guy shooting Jake, is this a matter of choosing whether or not such video exists or refusing to look at the video because John is popular? I know Michael Whiteacre knows the HIV/AIDS thing is a scam. How come we all don’t know this by now? Why are we so lazy to not examine that which on the surface we think is crazy, beliefs based on repetition of official statements by corrupted sources? We see Weinstein’s crusade is corrupted. He is just a branch of much larger corrupted crusade, corrupted from the start.
