This month she will be on the cover of Xcitement, the cover of Penthouse, and she was chosen as the Danni girl of the month. When  award nominations come out, I predict she will be on all of the lists. She has a degree in public relations, which certainly helps with promoting herself. I hear that another cover just came out for you that you are very happy about.
The November issue of Penthouse just came out and I’m on the cover, so I’m super excited about that. So I will be their Pet for November.

Well you are so gorgeous and so fit, I can see why they would pick you. And you have made quite a name for yourself already, even though you haven’t been in the industry that long. I spent about three hours on line reading interviews that you have done. You say that Penthouse helped you a lot and they were one of the companies that started you off.
It’s funny that all this is happening now. I kind of started off there. My agent that I was with, sent me to Penthouse to shoot my portfolio pictures to get into the industry. So they were my first look and first time I met anybody in adult. So I remember going there and meeting all the girls and seeing the shoot that was taking place and at that time I was really in over my head. It’s funny to come back now and see how far I’ve gone compared to when I first started in the industry.
You were quite innocent and naïve when you started.
I was. I really wasn’t a big porn viewer. The first time I sat down to watch a hardcore scene was the night before doing my first shoot.
And that probably scared the crap out of you.
It did! I picked a really bad scene to watch. It was really aggressive. It was one of the Pornstar punishment type. In my head I was like oh my god they are going to kill me! (Laughs) I quickly found out that this was not the case for most shoots. That was a very specific type of shoot.

What was your first shoot?
It was a boy/girl scene for New Sensations. It was very romantic and very easy. It was a great way to start and a great first scene to jump into.
Yeah, they do a lot of nice couple’s movies.
Yeah, this was with a very handsome guy. It was very easy.

And now it’s been a year and a half since you’ve been in the business, and you like doing those harder scenes.
I do. Now I enjoy being really rough. I’ve actually learned a lot about myself sexually and what I am into. I’ve become more open and comfortable in my own skin.

Let’s compare what you were like in the bedroom with a boyfriend before you got into porn, to what you are like today. I know you don’t have pornstar sex in the bedroom, but I am sure you are a lot more open to things.
Definitely. Before I got into the industry it was very hard for me to vocalize what I wanted, or if something felt good, or if I wanted to try something, that was very hard for me to say. And now I feel like I am more empowered to say I know what I like and I will express that to the person that I am with. I am a lot more into the sex, talking dirty and being sloppy. Before I thought that sex should be clean and I didn’t want to make any funny sounds. Now I feel like I can just let go and really enjoy the sex.
I do think that porn is one of the few industries that empowers women. People who say the opposite just don’t know what they are talking about.
The women in this industry are treated with so much respect and do have a lot of power. Everybody on a set is there to make the woman feel really comfortable and she is made to feel really important.
Yes, and this is an industry where women can go on to do anything, direct, write, report, run websites, that men do and they are encouraged and supported, not looked down on.
And it’s funny, it’s the only industry that I know of where the majority of women make more than the men do.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Yeah! (Laughs)

I know you worked previously as an executive assistant, so you were in the kind of business where we are supposed to break the glass ceiling to earn the same as men, and here we earn the same as or more than men.
Yep. And here you know what to expect. When I show up to a set I know exactly what we are going to be doing and I’ve accepted the scene and explained all of my boundaries.
Did you start off with a long list of things you wouldn’t do?
Not really. I remember filling out the checklist with all the letters, b/g, b/g/g, b/b/g and saying what is this? I was pretty open and I still am. I don’t really have any no’s. Everything I’ve done on camera I’ve enjoyed. I’m kinda easy. Easy to please, I guess.
I read that you have done a ten person scene.
Like an Orgy? I did. I’ve done a few orgies which are always fun. It’s not as intense as people think. When you are having sex with eight guys and six girls, it sounds like a lot. But once you get started it’s fun. It’s like musical chairs. I feel really lucky to do something that I enjoy. I wake and I don’t dread having to go to work. I’m having a lot of fun.

What is the best thing about your job?
The flexibility. It’s almost like I am my own boss. I make my own schedule. I can say yes to certain people. You can work as hard as you want to work, and make your scene as great as you want it to be. You can push it as far as you want to go.

Do you watch porn now?
I do. I started to watch it a lot more after I did my first scene. I look at it kind of like research and studying. I look up certain girls that have done really well to get ideas.
Do you like to watch feature movies, or gonzo?
I like bits of both. But I find that I get most turned on by watching more intense scenes, like something that’s on the Evil Angel website.

I do too.

What a great thing to have an obsession with. You are into MMA and Crossfit training. I’d like you to tell me a little bit about those. I know that MMA is martial arts.
MMA is mixed martial arts. It is a mix of Muay Thai, kickboxing, western boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The Jiu-Jitsu/grappling part is kind of like wrestling. The Muay Thai and boxing are your stand-up games. I got into it by doing Muay Thai. I’ve been doing that for about seven years now. I started to do it for fitness. I started competing and did a few fights. I love Muay Thai. But for women there wasn’t much room to grow. So my coach suggested that I try out MMA, which I am doing now. Hopefully getting in the cage sometime soon.
?Oh my god! You don’t want to mess up that perfect body.
(Laughs) It’s hard to make the time to do the sparring because of how hard and intense it can be on the body, and the bruising. Nobody likes to see that on a naked body. So I practice a lot but I am not doing so much of the sparring part. I got into Crossfit a year ago and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. The competitions that I’ve done have fed my competitive spark and I still can compete in this without getting all these bruises, or worrying about messing up my face or breaking my nose.
That would not be good.  How do the competitions work? I saw on your site, videos of you doing squats..
Crossfit is a mix of olympic lifting, gymnastics, intense cardio. It is constantly varied and everyday the workouts are different. In competition, there is the traditional barbells, kettlebells, pull-ups, running, but they will also throw in sandbag tosses or an obstacle course. The competition is usually three or four workouts that you do during the day.
So you have several things that you are competing in, who did the most or the fastest and they combine all the ones from one day and whoever did the best is the winner?
Exactly.
I get it. So in that video of you doing squats and lifting a barbell. How much was on that bar?
Depends on what the work out calls for, but snatches and overhead squats are picking up a barbell from the ground and putting it over your head. For that I did it at sixty-three pounds. For snatches it is seven times and for the squats it was fourteen times. And then running two hundred meters for seven rounds.
Oh my god. I don’t think I could even just pick that up over my head once!
(Laughs)
And the first time I saw you tweet Muay Thai, I thought you were throwing kissing to an Asian girl.
(Laughs)

You seem to be very competitive. I’m sure that helps you in getting all this work in movies. You are a real go-getter.
I have a lot of things that have helped like being half Asian and half Latina. That way I can be in movies that are Asian or Latina. I can appear in both.
You are Filipino and Mexican right?
Yes.

What is your favorite movie that you have ever made?
It is one that is coming out at the end of this month, from Evil Angel. It is called Bikini Clad Cum Sluts 2. It’s a boy/boy/girl scene and it’s only the second I have ever done. The first one I did was during my first month in. Before the second time I just got to do it, whenever anyone asked me about my favorite scene I would always say my first boy/boy/girl, because it was my first and only experience in a threesome with two guys, and I had so much fun. So to get to do it again recently was so great. I feel like I have come a lot further in my performance and a lot stronger in what I do. I feel like I got so much more into it. Hmmm. Just that, probably what I didn’t know before getting into porn is that you can be a lot harder with your grip.
