(Burbank, CA) Over the weekend, the nominations for the Tranny Awards were announced on http://trannyawards.com/. Categories include the Best of in each of these categories:  Hardcore Performer, Solo Model, New Face of 2011, Free Website, Non TS Performer, DVD Release, DVD Director, Photographer, Solo Website, Hottest Scene and Non-Typical Model. Amy Daly, Brittany St. Jordan, Domino Presley and Tiffany Starr received multiple nods. Other awards to be presented will be the Lifetime Achievement Award and Best of for Models on the Shemale Strokers, Shemale Yum and Black T-Girls sites. Best Solo Model can be voted on by fans at the website and other categories to be judged by a panel of models, industry and fans. Tickets are available on http://trannyawards2011.eventbrite.com/ or can be purchased at the door the night of the event.
 
“This year had twice as many nominations as previous years and it took a lot of work to sort them out.  Fan boards Hungangels.com, Hungdevils.com, Transladyboy.com and TSChatter.com brought in a lot of nominees, ” says Steven Grooby of Grooby Productions. “This year’s show is shaping up to be amazing and we’re expecting almost every nominated model to be there.”
