You’ve got to have some kind of compromise to get anything done and Obama has had none from the Republicans. It’s pretty disingenuous to say he’s “not doing anything” or he’s “doing worse” when the first half of his presidency was spent trying to clean up somebody else’s mess and the second half has been nothing but “No” from the Republicans.
The important thing here to remember is that Republicans are trying to screw this country solely to make Obama look bad. Think about that for a second. This is the old “cut off your nose to spite your face.” They’ll gladly let everything go to hell if it means they recapture the presidency. There’s no compromise…at all. That tells anyone will half a brain all they need to know about the Republicans.
This is why the 99% needs to rise up and vote all these guys out of office. They vote along party lines and whoever has power (democratic president)the other party (republican) will cockblock everything the other party does to make them look bad so they can get back in power the next election. Perhaps we need more then 2 parties in our system.

Lets not forget that Bush and the republicans are backed by big oil. These guys are highway bandits (without masks) keeping the price of gas as high as they possibly can while raking in record profits.
Bush never really backed alternative energy methods while at the same time he didn’t really try to help the environment either. We refused to sign treaties to lower our greenhouse gas emmisions because it would prove too costly for corporations and cut into their profits. We got up and walked away from the table.
This planet has been this way for thousands of years and just in our lifetimes WE have changed the atmosphere and ruined the ozone layer so that the polar ice caps are melting.
