New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski says he didn’t intend to hurt the team’s reputation when he posed for photographs with an adult film performer.
The performer, BiBi Jones, posted two pictures of her and Gronkowski on her Twitter account on Monday. She was wearing Gronkowski’s Patriots jersey in both of them. In one, he was shirtless.
They were taken during the Patriots’ bye week.
Gronkowski, who is having an outstanding year in his second NFL season, met with team owner Robert Kraft afterward. Gronkowski said Wednesday that being in the pros is a learning process.
"I didn’t intend anything to hurt the reputation of anyone on the New England Patriots or on behalf of Robert Kraft," he said. "It was just a simple picture and that’s all."
Gronkowski is hardly the first pro athlete to be in Jones’ company. Jones (real name Britney *******) told a Boston radio station and businessinsider.com this week that a sports agent in Arizona regularly introduced her to major league baseball players last year as the agent tried to recruit potential clients.
She said she enjoyed meeting the players and was never paid for her time. She didn’t identify the agent.
"(The agent) would just take me to a bar and introduce me after a Diamondbacks game in Arizona," she told businessinsider.com. "You know, baseball players would come and I’d introduce myself. And then I got to hook up with baseball players and have fun. It was like a dream come true because I love athletes and baseball’s my favorite sport."
Jones claimed that she slept with "more than 10" players, adding that "a couple" of them may have later signed with the agent. She told the Boston radio station she had encounters with Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla and Phoenix Coyotes player Paul Bissonette (Bissonette has denied Jones’ claim).
She said she ended her association with the agent because "I got into a relationship and it was hard to explain why I was going out every night."

no tight end ever did more for his QB then Jay Novachek,. Winslow was great but played on a team that thru for 4000 yards every year and Casper never caught more then 60 passes in a season..As a Qb your TE is your safety blanket, the guy you no will always be there for you..T Gonzlaes, Whitten, Gates, are all better then Winslow and Casper
Yet Novachek is arguably only the third best TE in Cowboy history. Witten is far and away #1, and I would go with Billy Joe Dupree as #2.
Novachek was a good TE in the right place at the right time. The heyday of NFL TEs basically started with his career, as coordinators started exploiting the matchup problems caused by athletic TEs.

I will say that BJ Dupree lost touches to Preston Person so he should have better numbers…But in those days the TE was a blocker first…Todd Christensen was the guy that showed TEs could catch balls..He lead the league in receptions like 2 or 3 years.. How many TEs catch 90 balls in a season during the 80s.??

Agree about Todd, and he was a former Cowboy! Yeah, Dupree was primarily a blocker, but had the athleticism and hands to be a good receiver. Too bad Landry rarely called his number.

All I have to say is Tony Gonzalez is # 2 all time in receptions, behind Jerry Rice. He isn’t the best in the league anymore, but he’s about 130 in NFL years, and he’s still probably top ten.
Also, as a kid growing up in the North East, Mark Bavaro was great to watch. He isn’t in the GOAT conversation, but he’s in the Tougher Than a Truck Stop Steak conversation. I was actually happy when he went to play for the Eagles, because then I got to watch him again.
