The Los Angeles Fire Department is investigating allegations that two fire stations allowed department fire trucks to be used in porn shoots.
The story was first reported by NBC4 LA, which posted clips from the video, showing a scantily clad actress exposing herself to passersby on Venice Beach.
At one point, she approaches a parked fire truck from Station 63 in Venice and exclaims, "Look at this fire truck! Isn’t that nice?" before climbing onto a fire truck and exposing herself to the camera.
A second shoot allegedly used a truck from Station 41 in Hollywood.
Capt. Jaime Moore, a spokesman for the department, confirmed Thursday that the Professional Standards Division launched an investigation into the Venice porn shoot in April or May, and the allegations of a second shoot in Hollywood came out of that investigation.
The investigation is trying to determine to what extent fire personnel had knowledge of the shoot and whether any firefighters participated, he said. No firefighters have been fired or placed on leave in relation to the incidents to date, he said.
The NBC4 report alleged that firefighters helped to set up the shoot and actually appeared in the video watching the shoot. (The onlookers’ faces were blurred out in the video posted). Moore said that is part of the investigation but could not confirm what involvement, if any, the firefighters had.
"They’re trying to determine whether the firefighters really knew this was going to happen, did they participate, and why wasn’t someone on the engine?" he said.
Personnel at the Venice and Hollywood fire stations reached by telephone declined to comment.
"It’s not one of our proudest moments," Moore said. But he said the department’s new chief, Brian Cummings, is "adamant that he’s not going to tolerate this kind of stuff."

Charley Chase, the porn star in the middle of the Los Angeles Fire Department scandal, said Friday the firefighters had no clue as to what she was going to do.
Chase was interviewed by FOX 11′s Jeff Michael, explaining that the Venice Station 63 fire truck just happened to be parked and the firefighters were unable to see what she was doing from their vantage point.
How classy of Chase for attempting to get the firefighters off the hook. Classy and porn star — that’s something you don’t hear very often.

NL- This vid was filmed THREE YEARS AGO ! Charley says she was only there for a few minutes and the firefighters had nothing to do with setting it up. She hopes that no one gets in trouble or loses their job over this.
Let us hope no LAFD personnel were involved, but it does bring up an interesting point. If a truck is parked in front of a station, where does LAFD property start and end?
I just hope nobody gets fired over all this! Bad news for a great bunch of guys and ladies that work for the Firedept here in LA….just another black eye for the Biz there in LA. Jeremy what u think , man?
