Miami Vibes President Indicted on Criminal Charges

MIRAMAR, Fla. — The president of porn studio Miami Vibes Enterprises and an associate have been indicted on conspiracy, human trafficking and drug charges after the pair were alleged to have drugged nine women before sexually assaulting and filming them.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami announced today a 22-count indictment naming Lavont Flanders Jr., the president of Miami Vibes, and Emerson Callum, as defendants who promised fame and fortune to the aspiring models if they travelled to South Florida.
After reading enticements on the Internet, one victim was told she would be the face of a new Bacardi drink and another was told she would get a role in a Paramount film.
But instead of the promises, the women allegedly were plied with booze and Xanax and later were filmed having sex.
According to the indictment, as early as May 2006, Flanders fraudulently posed as a talent scout or rep on sites such as ModelMayhem.com and BlackPlanet.com. He would entice women to travel to South Florida for auditions, and offer them potentially lucrative acting or modeling contracts.
Flanders and Callum worked together at least nine times, with Flanders communicating with the women online and later meeting them, according to the indictment. Flanders used about a dozen aliases in the scheme.
Flanders is accused of giving the women spiked drinks as part of the audition, while Callum is accused of having sex with the women, while Flanders filmed the acts, all of them taped at Miami Vibes Enterprises offices in Miramar, Fla., the indictment said.
The sex tapes ended up being sold over the Internet through Miami Vibes Enterprises.
Flanders and Callum were indicted on Tuesday and picked up by police on Wednesday. The pair have a court appearance on Monday at 10 a.m.

One of these days real business people are gonna come along and take the porn industry away from all the sneaky crooked mofos that are in the business now and run it like a legit industry. Too many people behind the camera and in the front offices seem to be evil, sneaky, crooked people that hate women.
Some of these guys make porn that seems to be all about humiliating the girls (Latina Abuse, Donkey Punch, Human Toilet Bowls) as well which I can’t stand. How is punching a girl in the head or shoving her face into a toilet bowl, spitting in her face, or writing horrible insults on her forhead erotic or sexy?
I don’t know Karma. I’ve never been into the over-the-top genres of humiliation either, but I saw a scene with Manuel Ferrara and Kristina Rose in one of the Phat Bottom Girls titles where Manuel started giving Kristina swirlies and it turned out being a great scene. Manuel, like Rocco, beats on the wiminz under the clever guise of “power play”. I’m not a big fan of either of those euro-douches, but when paired with the right girl, they can turn out an excellent scene with a ton of heat, spitting, slapping, and merrily choking their way along the entire time.

Here is something said many decades ago but every person on earth should continue to pay attention to it: “If it sounds too good to be true it is.” It is clowns like these that bring fuel to the fire to make our industry look bad to the outsiders and those that wish to tear legitimate producers down and put companies out of business. We have a few of these types of people on this site. I would bet that these guys were no more a part of the legitimate porn industry than Ike and Tina Turner yet headlines are what is read and what gets talked about. I hope they get convicted and locked up for a long time. Sex is not a part of a normal audition process and girls in porn will not become the face of future Bacardi ads. (At least not in the nearterm foreseeable future)A girl might end up with a small role in a major feature film and once in a great while a big role (read Sasha Grey) but that is only through legitimate agents working with mainstream casting agencies and producers and not by two guys whose photographs look like mug shots.
I thought someone who have got busted on human/sex trafficking before this. I do not know why any respectable company would have anything to do with movies made in Thailand or the Philippines with local female talent, they may be of age, but are far from legit actresses. I would imagine the same thing happens in Eastern Europe too. And most sex trafficking, not porn as far as I know, goes on right here in the good ole USA.
Will, have you seen some of the producers and agents in porn, they look like they’ve been models for a mug shot or two, and most of those guys are the GOOD guys. As for Rapin Roy, he is not.
Most of the illegal sex trafficing done in the USA is from foreign Nationals exploiting their own people.
In other words russian mafia folks bringing in Eastern European girls as sex slaves for human trafficing and asian gangsters doing the same with asian girls.
