NL- I’m not sure what I think of this. In a way I would like to see the bitch naked and being tortured in a BDSM scene. Another side of me says she was found "not guilty" gotta let her live her life. But Vivid is too classy to do a movie on her. This seems more like a job for Robert Hill Releasing, and I wouldn’t watch anything they put out because I can’t support a company that makes a light hearted film staring a murderer and his victim (Steve Hill & Tom Dong)
Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult movie studio, has withdrawn its offer to Casey Anthony to star in an upcoming movie.
Steven Hirsch, founder and co-chairman of the studio that has produced and/or distributed numerous movies with celebrities said "We were ready to make an offer to Casey to star in one of our feature films. It’s clear to me now, however, that there has been an overwhelmingly negative response to our offer and so we’ve decided to withdraw it."
"It has become obvious to us that Vivid fans, and people in general, want nothing to do with her and that includes a XXX movie. We want to make movies that people want to watch and we now believe that we underestimated the emotional response that people are having to the verdict. A movie starring Casey Anthony is not what people want to see," said Hirsch.
I’m glad they backed out and didn’t make “This Threesome Just Became A Twosome” I think she’ll start celebrity boxing with losers… her first bout being vs. Tanya Harding or Amy Fisher.
I’m sorry but I disagree with you when you say “Vivid is too classy to do a movie on her.” Didn’t that offer her a contract but then withdrew? To me, Steve Hirsch is a sleaze and has won either way. He got his name and company out there. For people like him any kid of publicity is good publicity. I am done with Vivid and I’m glad to see a lot of adult actresses on Twitter are boycotting him and his company.
If Vivid is too classy to do a movie on her, then why did they even offer to begin with? They only pulled the offer after all the backlash from porn fan and non-porn fan alike.
Let’s be real here, porn and class don’t go together. You need look no further than Hirsch himself who makes an offer at least once a month to every low-life pseudo “celeb” to be in one of his movies. The end-of-the-day bottom line is it’s sex for money. It’s a business and we all know crap and drama sells better than the mundane.
As was the case with OJ Simpson the general public (and Julie Chen) are in shock that she was found not guilty. There was quite a bit of evidence the sequestered and gag ordered jury never got to see.
They found her not guilty based on the evidence they were presented with. Can’t fault them for that. The prosecution should have done a better job. Either that or they were bamboozled by her lawyer Baez’s “throw the kitchen sink at them” defense and in this case it worked.

Well, this is the politically correct thing to do, but with how sick and divisive it would be, it would also be a big seller, if Casey Anthony did a porno. It would sell REALLY Big. The communal hatred and backlash would fuel profits even further, which would also help sell more 2012 books, as people would say it’s a further sign that the world is coming to an end.
If she does a porno, though, she should have herself, (like the Long Island Lolita should have), in a Max or Bukkake or something-like scene, as a way of sort of paying for and/or purging their sins. Subject oneself as a willing subject of their collective disgust and limited abuses and that would sell better, too. If ever it was time for Max to step in this would be it! Or in Casey’s case; Khan Tusian… Bring out the wrath of Khan!
You just have to combine the simultaneous lust and hatred factors together, creatively.

It was classic lawyer double talk. He said something to the effect of “this trial is proof of the dangers and futility of the death penalty”. Now, on the surface that sounds like, “if she was convicted, we could have killed an innocent person”.
What I heard was, “if the state wasn’t seeking the death penalty, the case could have easily went the other way”. This I can completely understand. When your deciding the fate of a person, adding the element of execution can really fuck with your thought process, especially when the evidence is circumstantial.
I totally think she did it, but without a smoking gun, I too would have had a difficult time deciding whether or not to put someone to death. Baez was right. The state fucked this one up, not the jury. They shot wayyyyy to high to get a solid decision from 12 regular folk. I have a feeling that if Florida was shooting for life in prison, it could have quite possibly went the other way. Just my two cents.
I totally agree with Fartz. The state lost the case not the jurors. They had 0 evidence that she did it. Just stuff about what possibly might have kinda happened if the stars were aligned properly.
You can’t give someone the death penalty on that kind of shit.
Personally, I think the state would have had it in the bag if they were seeking voluntary manslaughter/child neglect. They wanted murder 1 but had absolutely no evidence of intent to kill. Their case didn’t even match up with with the charge they were seeking. The only scenario that would make sense, according to evidence was this: Casey didn’t want to be a mother. She wanted to party. She chloroformed the poor kid in an attempt to knock her out, so she could party. She found the kid dead, called her detective father who probably told her the over/under on the half-life of chloroform and advised her to stash the body and not say anything for at least thirty days. This definitely doesn’t equate to murder 1 with a death sentence. I still can’t fathom how she ducked the other charges, but I guess that just speaks to the ability of all lawyers present.
Casey was guilty, but the state just couldn’t prove it.
What Hirsch did was disgusting. He’s either has terrible judgement or he’s a textbook sociopath. How desperate is he for for money? Doesn’t he have enough? He’s a bloody parent for Christ sake. Didn’t his sister, also a parent, try to talk some sense into him? Good for the public for giving him hell!
