Cnn.com reports Dr. Jack Kevorkian, 83, has died after a blood clot lodged in his heart, according to the Detroit Free Press.
His lawyer told the paper it appears a blood clot from his leg broke free and lodged in his heart. “It was peaceful. He didn’t feel a thing,” the lawyer said.
I thought he was a great and compasionate man. What happened to him was a great injustice. I spent 2 years in a rehab (many years ago) and 1 wing of the facility was for short term rehab folks like me and the other wings and floors were for permenant elderly and disabled residents.
I saw many bad things there and the folks that said he was a murderer probably never spent time in a facility or saw loved ones in utter agony, constant pain and despair with no way to find rlease from their pain. He helped them find release from that pain. He will be missed.
“It was peaceful. He didn’t feel a thing,”… sounds like good karma to me.
