YNOT – A federal grand jury on April 14 added five new federal obscenity counts to the three on which adult fetish filmmaker Ira Isaacs has been awaiting re-trial since a 2008 mistrial. Isaacs’ attorney said he expects his client to face arraignment on the new charges May 2, when pretrial proceedings on the earlier charges are scheduled to begin in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.

The new indictments allege Isaacs and his companies Stolen Car Films and LA Media distributed by mail obscene matter containing explicit depictions of scatology and bestiality.
