I’m currently investigating affiliate programs. There are some that truthfully pay, some that steal your traffic, some that steal your hits, some that you have to wonder about because you send them traffic but nothing seems to convert, and then there are those that do what they say they will.
Let me know what you think of the affiliate programs you have tried. The good, the bad, the awful. Then I will let you know what I have uncovered.

Use common sense.
If they offer 100.00 per signup on a site that bills at 29.99 a month you can bet they aint honest
50/50 split is about the best you can get but that doesnt make all of those honest either
Actually I am working for my site with several affiliate programs, Elegant Angel, Evil Angel, Digital Playground and Zero Tolerance. All I can say is that Zero Tolerance has the best promotional tools for doing promos. Elegant Angel as well, Evil Angel could improve some of the contents; Digital Playground needs to change more contents for being at the same level. At the moment no great economic benefits.
