A special benefit for Adult and Mainstream Film Legend Nina Hartley will be taking place on Thursday, February 17th at The Federal 5303 Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood. The event begins at 9:30pm.
Hartley was diagnosed with a tumor in her uterus and has to undergo surgery in March to remove this.
“It’s not cancerous, but it is something I have to get removed. I really need help to cover my recovery. Any support and help I can receive will be greatly appreciated, and I’m thrilled about this benefit, and really want to thank everybody on board,” stated Hartley.
The star studded event will be attended by some of the biggest and sexiest stars of the adult and mainstream film industries.
The door charge will be $15.00, and all money from the door goes directly to help Nina Hartley.
There will be a special onstage performance, and Nina will also be auctioning off some items as well.
The beautiful new venue The Federal, just opened its doors, and is already being hailed as one of the top spots to go and be seen in the San Fernando Valley.

Although I wish Nina all the best, this fund raiser leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

2. She has uterine fibroids, a quite harmless condition (it’s basically just muscle fibers that grow too large).
3. The insurance pays for her surgery, but she “needs” a whopping $20,000 for living expenses during her (very brief) downtime? Is she insane?
4. Another case of a high-earning porn superstar who still doesn’t have a penny after decades in the business? C’mon.
Frankly, I feel a hell of a lot more sorry for girls like Stephanie Swift (how is she doing?).

Hysterectomies cause mood swings for a couple of months and full recovery takes a year.
origen, FULL hysterectomies (when they also remove the ovaries) may cause mood swings because it brings you into menopause. It’s probably not something she would have to worry about at her age anyway, if you catch my drift.
Anyway, what I have heard through, she is merely removing some harmless fibroids. It’s definitely no big deal, no worse recovery than a c-section.
Either way, she herself is a medical professional, with insurance, decades of performing for bug bucks, and husband to look after her. Why would she need 20 grand from her fans to stay home for a month? Please.
I am all for helping the adult community but there are performers with real, life threatening illnesses (cancer, HIV, you name it) out there. Performers who have no insurance, and are slowly dying.
Send the money to Stephanie Swift instead, I say.

Nina is hot. She is very intelligent and never had a drug problem…she must have plenty of money. She has her own website and Im sure she is making coin off that.
