Treaure Island Signs HIV Positive Model

SAN FRANCISCO — Treasure Island Media has signed exclusive contracts with performers Brad McGuire and James Roscoe, extending their exclusive relationship with the company.
The company said the two are a real-life, long-term, promiscuous, bareback couple. Roscoe is HIV positive while McGuire is HIV negative.
Studio owner Paul Morris flew to Chicago earlier this week to personally sign Roscoe and McGuire to represent T.I.M.
"As a community we have a moral and social imperative to demolish the HIV positive closet," Morris said.
"We are adults and we are participating in a tremendously vital and important sexual culture that is under attack. We know exactly what we’re doing and we will not allow reactionary individuals and organizations to dictate our behavior. James and Brad are fitting role models for young gay men. They are living their lives with honesty and integrity. I couldn’t be more proud to have them in the T.I.M. family."
FSC’s Executive Director Diane Duke told XBIZ that such conduct is at the center of the efforts to find appropriate regulations for the adult industry by both Cal/OSHA and the FSC.
"Despite our opposition to a state-imposed mandate for the universal use of condoms, FSC does not endorse the exploitation of potential HIV infection of performers for promotional purposes."
T.I.M. said it’s currently shooting work that features HIV positive men. The company said that the first of these HIV positive-only bareback titles is slated for general release next spring.
In celebration of the Roscoe and McGuire resigning, the company has released a never-before-seen bareback sex session featuring the two men together.

Are these esteemed gentlemen crazy? Haven’t they read the same news reports we have all these years which say HIV causes AIDS??? Isn’t what we hear on the t.v. by official sources the end all? Why haven’t we heard of these dissidants? Certainly we should have had an open forum to address scientific points presented by dissidents with advanced degrees, correct?
In the words of Abbie Hoffman, as “You measure democracy by the freedom it gives its dissidents, not the freedom it gives its assimilated conformists.” Thus, perhaps we, by the fact that we haven’t heard of these people, really don’t live in a democracy, as some of us think we do.
I rest my case. Good for them but when or if they mix with somebody else that is in the straight porn world you have the potential for a toxic explosion. Maybe I am naive but let’s keep the two industries completely separate with no mixing, no bisexual movies, no TS banging and no gay-for-pay touching the straight porn world. If that eliminates a bunch of male performers from the straight porn pool then so be it but if we continue on with this mixing and matching we are making what I think is a big big mistake. Everybody out of the pool!
Well, at least that should tell you a lot about the liklihood of HIV transmission… a long-term, gay, bareback couple, one of them HIV+, the other not. They want to demolish closets. I hope this case helps to shatter myths.
This is John T Bone like madness. Mr Morris thinks he is breaking apart some type of stereotype, he’s just going backwards. He’s putting or at the very least allowing a performer to be willingly exposed to HIV, this is nuts, this could be criminal whether these guys are life partners or not. As for your point Will Jeff, a great idea…if only that folks like Steele would get to work more…jeez by that standard it would be a reason for girls to work with Max once he gets out of the joint…but like its gonna happen 100%, good wood is hard to find.

How can any person or organization claim condoms protect from HIV when a long term gay bareback couple consists of one HIV+ guy and one HIV- guy?
