Twins? Are they your Unfulfilled Fantasy?

The Love Twins Make Their Return To Hardcore

Identical twin porn stars, The Love Twins, Lacey and Lyndsey Love mark their return to hardcore with the release of The Love Twins XXX Home Movies.
This movie is the first in a new line that Amateur District is producing which features the real amateur footage of famous stars.

This new series is quite a departure from what Amateur District is known for. Typically Amateur District releases titles featuring real amateurs girls they find on the streets, at golf courses and shopping malls. But the XXX Home Movies series marks the first time that Amateur District will purposely feature movies with famous porn stars.

Kelli Roberts, marketing coordinator for Amateur District says “When I first started doing marketing for Amateur District I had this project in mind.  I knew that a lot of famous girls were out there shooting their own amateur type footage for their websites so I made contact with several of them and suggested they let us have some of the footage they shoot to release on DVD.  It’s a win / win for everyone because their fans get to see some unique footage of the girls, shot at home by the porn stars themselves on DVD while at the same time the press for the release of the movies helps market their own websites. So in the end everybody is happy.  Fans of the Amateur District line want to see the real footage, the stuff that isn’t all edited up and faked. They want to see the real deal and that is exactly what this series gives them.”

The Love Twins XXX Home Movies features all scenes that the girls shot themselves.  The literally went out bought a camera and filmed themselves having sex and gave it to Amateur District who then turned it into a movie for them.

The Love Twins XXX Home Movies will be released on August 2, 2010.  The Love Twins XXX Home Movies as with all Amateur District titles are distributed exclusively through Pulse Distribution.

While I think twins can be super hot, this set was were some of the worst performers in recent memory. Even if this release is vastly superior to all their past work, it is unlikely to be worth the price of a mid-week rental.

  2. My grandmother once taught me a fascinating thing that has been most helpful in business and in life in general. “Don’t shit where you live.” For example, if you are continually rude, degrading and negative in everything you say, eventually people want to have less and less to do with you and any company or website you may be associated with.

I know that after being in the business awhile, some people tend to get jaded and see things in a very different light than say, your average fan. But if left unchecked, that attitude can have costly results because you never know who is friends with who and well going out publicly being such a horribly negative person all the time may eventually catch up with you.

It’s really no concern of mine if you continue to make enemies and say hurtful, just down right mean and uncalled for things to people. But being the nice person I am, I wanted to point out that if you continue to do so, you will annoy the wrong people and those people may have friends who may have friends who may also have friends.

This business isn’t exactly THAT big. You continue to behave in the manner you do, it eventually may come back and bite that little booty.

Oh and another fabulous saying my grandmother used to say …. “you catch far more flies with honey than you do vinegar”. And if that isn’t enough, you could always opt to go with an oldie but goodie … “if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all”.

Good manners can go a long, long way in this business and in life.

    Just saying. ^^

Kelli, the business is already too full of ass kissing sycophants, so much so that the average fanboy review might as well have been written by the company publicist. If everything someone watches is “the best movie ever” (or damned near close to it), especially because someone is more interested in making/keeping friends than having the sack to tell the truth, everything they write is suspect. The same holds true for performances and performers…

By all means post whatever you think about the “Twins” as part of your publicist job, just don’t cry when someone is willing to point out how weak they perform in their movies. Their main marketing gimmick is their twin status and having read a great many comments over the years by a wide variety of folks, I’m in good company regarding my belief of their performances being substandard.

As far as being jaded or overly negative, do you think Blu-ray, HD-DVD, or 3D advances have proven fruitful to the industry? Do you think a porn parody wasting an otherwise great cast should be praised way above its worth? Again, I understand that you were paid for your involvement with the Hocus Pocus parody but compared to a number of Capone and Rigby’s past works, it sucked monkey balls (and I can say good things about their better works regardless of how well they pay affiliates or don’t).

  4. I wasn’t really just talking about me. Giving a critical review is one thing but making actual personal attacks is something else all together. You can write a review without a personal attack, can’t you? But that’s actually not the point I was trying to make with you.

I’ve seen things you’ve said to other people. In fact, I’ve yet to ever see anything you’ve ever said to anyone that isn’t negative or derogatory or down right inappropriate.

Saying that the whole blu-ray thing didn’t work out for porn as well as they have thought is one thing – that’s a genuinely honest fact. But when you start to attack people on a personal level others start to take notice and they start to talk.

So by all means, do continue on doing whatever it is you must do in whatever manner you want to do. Whatever you do, don’t take my advice about appearing bitter and jaded. Just ignore everything I said and continue on with your tweeting and board posts that are the way they are.

I’m sure everything I said was wrong and it will in no way, shape or form start to affect you or any website and/or company you have to do business with. I am sure everything will be just fabulous.

  5. Houstondon says:

Kelli, sarcasm isn’t your strong point but I’m sure you do something well so I’ll end on a positive note: Capone & Rigby have made some very appealing porn. 😉

  6. Hmmm, I think it’s ok to inject personal opinion or analysis of what you know and/or have observed about a performer (or performers) into a review – makes it more interesting to read.

  7. Okay so my really lame attempts at being subtle clearly didn’t work out. So here goes … I used your reply as an opportunity to reach out to you and let you know without trying to be to obvious that the other day I overheard some people talking about you.

I really was just trying in my own way to reach out to you and offer a nice suggestion to say, I’m sure deep down, somewhere in there you aren’t the guy you portray in your chats and that people are starting to talk and well in my own way, I was trying to be nice and suggest that maybe you should from time to time consider some more positive comments.

I’m not by any means suggesting you go all cupcake and candy canes on us in your reviews. Then that so wouldn’t be you but anyway really was just trying to be nice and let you know without being to obvious as to why that maybe you might want to consider other people as a whole that some people get upset when they see some of the things you post and they start to talk to their friends who talk to their friends who talk to their friends.

I personally don’t know you so it’s really no big deal to me if you make more enemies in this business. I was just trying to be nice and offer you a suggestion.

Best of luck to you and yours.

  8. Houstondon says:

Kelli, you were being as subtle as a brick to the head, and I readily acknowledge that my comments are not always sunshine & rainbows. I stand by my comments that I am more often too “nice” than too “mean”, your suggestion to the contrary surprising considering the bulk of my emails are from folks asking me to turn up the criticism a few notches. Thanks for the courtesy all the same.
