Cindi- Is that a "fan boi" headline or what? Well I have to admit that Dale is one of the few that make my heart beat faster. ( I can hear the gagging and snickering from here, okay, okay stop. I’ll calm down)
I met Dale Dabone on my first trip out to LA when I went to a Jerry Tanner set with my buddy Nelson X. At the craft services table I turned around and almost bumped into Dale, who was charming and gorgeous (still is)
Dale left the biz in 2003 to play tennis, do motorcycle stunts and play in a rock band. After a seven year absence he comes back to play two lead roles; as Major Nelson in a Jeannie spoof, and as Batman in Axel’s parody. (now THAT is perfect casting)
I asked Dale a couple questions-
Where have you been the last couple years? What have you been doing?i have been in miami fl for the past few years….when i retired back in 2003, i started dating a well known tennis star and started learning everything i could about coaching….then i picked up a job coaching a young player who just turned pro and we toured all around the world…a few years later her and i broke up, and i started playing drums for the band "4PLAY" i have been pretty much doing that and the motorcycle stunts for the past few years…..
When & why did you decide to come back to adult? i thought it was time to come back because my body could not take the pounding from the stunts i had to do each day….and the band was only playing on the weekends, and i was really getting that itch to act again….
What have you done so far?i just finished playing major nelson in "i dream of jeanie"….and i landed the lead role as batman, in batman & robin….
Dale did a couple video interviews for Dom over at Emm Report and they show the Dale that I knew, but a bit more grown up, and less cocky. He comes back with a new friendly attitude and his usual honesty & realism.

Funny, so the rumor about him dating Jennifer Capriati was true. She never played a pro match after 2003 and with Dale waiting at home, I don’t blame her.
So Jennifer was not a lesbian? That explains why lesbians in sports have the upper hand.
Jen comes off as a lesbian, but I’ve never gotten wind of her relationships with females. But whatever she had with Dale was known and even made the tabloids. At the time, Dale denied dating her.
