A national magazine is reporting that Elin Nordegren has decided to save her marriage to Tiger Woods.
People, out on Friday, says the Swedish model wants to stay married to Woods despite the fact he has been linked to having affairs with at least nine women. The magazine reports that Nordergren is a “child of divorce” and doesn’t want the same for her two children, Samantha and Charlie.
Also Nordegren wasn’t shocked by Tiger’s transgressions, having known about his promiscuous ways.
"Elin had talked to other golfers and their wives about Tiger’s wild parties," a friend told the magazine. "When she asked Tiger about it, he said he would stop doing it. And she believed him. But he never did.”
Naples Daily News columnist David Moulton suggests to Woods in an open letter that the Big D – divorce — may be the best solution to this publicity nightmare.
Meanwhile, one of Tiger’s mistresses apologizes for her escapades with a married man and another told the world on a video that she slept with Woods at a bachelor party.
Jaimee Grubbs, a 24-year-old who says she has had a three-year affair with Woods, spoke to TV show “Extra” about her relationship with the world’s No. 1 golfer. She said she was with Woods about 20 times and as late as Oct. 18. She apologized to Woods’ wife, Elin.
"If it wasn’t me, it was going to be other girls. I did care about him — I didn’t do it for superficial reasons,” Grubbs told Extra. “I didn’t do it to purposely hurt her."
Grubbs thinks Woods and Nordegren should "try to work" out their relationship.
"He’s an amazing guy despite everything that is coming forth," Grubbs says of the father of two, who has been linked to numerous women.
The scandal surrounding Woods could have been revealed earlier this year. Porn actress Holly Sampson told viewers on a video made in May that she slept with Woods.
In the video for naughtyamerica.com, Sampson said she performed at Woods’ bachelor party and then was picked by Woods to go back to his bedroom.

It should be no surprise that Woods’ sex scandal has been a boon for online publications, even though it hasn’t generated the same amount of Internet traffic as Michael Jackson’s death or President Barack Obama’s inauguration.
Provocative remarks by Yahoo Inc. CEO Carol Bartz at an investor conference in New York this week illustrate how major Internet channels and niche publications are benefiting from the Woods controversy.
Known for her off-color commentary, Bartz told financial analysts Tuesday that the Woods story is "better than Michael Jackson dying" for helping Yahoo make money, because it is easier to sell ads against salacious content than morbid stories.
"It’s kind of hard to put an ad up next to a funeral," she said.
