Actress in custody battle with porn star
The Hollywood star Sandra Bullock is facing a nasty legal battle as her husband’s ex-wife launches a custody fight
America’s sweetheart, the actress Sandra Bullock, is being dragged into an unpleasant legal battle to prove that she is a better parent than her husband’s former wife, the star of more than 100 pornographic movies.
Bullock is backing claims by her husband Jesse James, the television celebrity, that they have made a good home for Sunny, his five-year-old daughter.
His ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, 40, star of such video titles as Mrs Behavin’, Sleeping Booty and Dyke Diner, disagrees. She has just been released from a six-month prison sentence for tax evasion.
When she was in jail in Oregon she reportedly sent her former husband a bitter text message that read: “U win. Sandra finally has her baby — congratulations.”
The tattooed blonde remains in a halfway house in Los Angeles until the end of this year when she can seek custody of her daughter.
James, 40, has launched a pre-emptive legal strike in wealthy Orange county, south of Los Angeles, where all three have beachside homes. He has asked a judge to rule on whether Lindemulder is a fit mother.
“Good cause exists for the court to conduct a review to determine if [the girl] will be safe with [Lindemulder],” he said in a statement to the court. “She should be restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and other unsafe environments.”
The judge is expected to rule soon on whether Lindemulder, James and Bullock will have to give evidence in person.
James, a heavily tattooed motorbike mechanic who turned his business customising £60,000 bikes for sports stars into a Top Gear-style television programme, admits that he enjoys risky pursuits.
These include riding with Hell’s Angels gangs and a taste for death-defying television stunts. But he says he keeps these far from his family, which includes two teenage children from an earlier marriage.
Bullock denies that the couple, who married in 2005, enjoy a Hollywood lifestyle. “We do every mundane, normal thing that everyone else does. It’s about enjoying what we have,” she said.
Bullock, 45, the star of Speed and Miss Congeniality who is estimated to be worth £100m, has said she wanted to have children, but her late mother persuaded her to put her career first.
James married Lindemulder in 2002 in an episode of his television series Motorcycle Mania, after which she gave up her career. Lindemulder claimed to be “devastated” when he left her for Bullock while she was seven months pregnant with Sunny. She claimed the stress led her to get into trouble with her taxes.
She recently told friends that she wants her child back as she rebuilds her life.
Like many Californian custody cases the outcome may come down to money. James told the court he has a “very high income” while Lindemulder still has to repay £180,000 in taxes and earns £7.20 an hour as a set designer at a photographic studio.
There is hope, however. She is seeking to publish her prison diaries.
NL- Janine isn’t working as a set designer anymore. She starts her new job as an apprentice tattoo artist tomorrow. I wish her the best. I don’t think someone being a porn star should have anything to do with their ability to be a good mother. But her choice in husbands bothers me. I don’t think the judge is going to like Janine’s new ex-con/white power husband either.
If Janine REALLY wants her child to have a good life under the best circumstances, she’d open her heart more and realize raising her child with a member of a White Power group isn’t such a great idea. If SHE wants to ruin her life with some racist fucknut that’s HER choice. WHY ruin a child’s life with that shit?
In a court of law in many ways actions speak louder then words. If the recent marriage is true she may as well give up now. With the other side of this case having money to burn and a stable environment Janine is really up against a wall.
Think about what you do Janine and how people look at you let alone how a Judge judges you.
I don’t think she cares anymore.
Why don’t give her one more chance? She is a porn star not a criminal.

The whole “porn is legal” thing is great, but kids don’t care about that when they’re harassing you everyday at school.
It’s a lot easier to tell you classmates about your dad the stuntman and your stepmom “America’s Sweetheart”, who’s worth $200 million, than about your mom the “porn queen” and your step dad the felonious White supremacist.
In a fantasy world, maybe you could argue that it shouldn’t have a bearing, but this is reality. Being a kid is hard enough without your mom making you the laughing stock of your school, just by doing her job.
I cannot imagine the poor kid schoolmantes dowloading Jannine has been Blackmaled or the Emperor and doing the play by play.
Not saying this matters b/c it doesn’t but Janine is better looking than a movie star, who has her kid. Don’t start w/ the shallow stuff b/c it’s irrelevant to the matter at hand.
When it comes to bitter divorces and when there is a child involved you never know how far either party will take it over sourer grapes.
I”m still amazed Sandy put herself in this postiton to begin w/. How many movie stars esp. a women has married into this kind of situation? They’re never has been w/ either gender. Not even a male star has done something like this.
Probably the worse thing about this issue is the White Supremacy. I can’t imagine the education that her child are going to recive out of respect for the human beings I hope Janine knows have to fix this. Anyway many pornstars have to suffer seeing her sons and daughters watching her moms fucked in the ass in internet….this are the price that porn stars have to pay and indirectly her poor child 🙁

Those that suggest there is a clear path here might want to consider that Jesse abandoned Janine when she was very pregnant and refused to do anything with the child for a long time. He also hangs out with felons, druggies, and the all sorts of nar-do-wells, including marrying a “porn star” (the horrors) so suggesting he is now magically above it all strikes me as unfair.
And why is it that so many on here and at other websites always tout the wonders of free speech right up until it is speech they disagree with? I know little about Janine’s boyfriend’s association with white supremacy, his current beliefs, and where his heart is at when it comes to his fellow man, but whatever his path in life, dictating what he should believe (or else!) is dangerously close to the antithesis of what many in porn shout so loudly about all the time.
And the belief that Sunny should go with Jesse & Sandra solely because they have more money and can buy her a better life is another slippery slope some might want to reevaluate. Janine is her mom and has a history of working in porn but that isn’t going to change regardless of who she lives with or who has primary custody. Considering the infamy of Jesse and the Hollywood status of Sandra, those ties are never going to be covered up or go away so whatever pains the kid is going to go through, they are set in stone unless Jesse/Sandra step out of the limelight, change their names and identities, and pray for a more tolerant world.

Not an out of work porn star and her white supremacist boyfriend. There is nothing to say that Jessie will not go back to shooting porn when she finds out minimum wage is not going to help her live herself, let along raise a child.
And I am sure we can agree that when you are in porn your judgment is not always clear.
Kay, Janine is not out of work, she’s starting her career as a tattoo artist. Admittedly it is not as wholesome as hanging out with Hell’s Angels bikers or the bastions of American values, Hollywood types, but the original petition sounds pretty one sided to me considering he hangs out with a lot of people just like the ones she seems to.
And while I doubt either set of parents is entitled to sole custody, doesn’t it tweak you in the slightest the amount of hypocrisy going on here?
Sunny is better off with Sandra and only Sandra. Jesse is no “citizen”, Janine is…well a major mess bordering on tragedy waiting to happen. And it has nothing to do with money and/or fame, Sandra is Sunny’s best chance.
Houston- the only person that I care about is the child and unfortunately that would mean not being with her mother.I am not saying that Jessie is a slice of life either, but since he is more in the “eye of Hollywood” he has been on better behavior, and he has let his unsavory friends know they are not welcome at his home or his garage.
An hell have you ever watched L.A. Ink? You are an apprentices first, which is not a paying gig. You need so may hours before you can start to get paid for actually doing tattoos.
And frankly once you have kids your life is not your own, you need to put them first and do what is right by them, and no I am sorry but once you are a parent you need to leave the porn world behind, sorry but that is the cold hard truth.

If Jesse wants sole custody with Janine only getting supervised custody (as it appears), perhaps the judge should try something out of Solomon’s book. 😉
Again though, if Janine has primary custody (or is granted it), wouldn’t she be entitled to more than enough child support to live under given California law? My concern over anyone taking sides based solely on money is that there are plenty of equalizers available for that under CA law used every day.
