VIVID OFFERS MISS CALIFORNIA CARRIE PREJEAN $1-MILLON TO STAR IN AN ADULT MOVIE
LOS ANGELES – (May 7, 2009) – Vivid Entertainment Group, the world’s leading adult film studio, has offered Carrie Prejean, the reigning Miss California, up to $1-million to star in one of its upcoming movies.
"We watched Carrie Prejean in the Miss USA Pageant and we were impressed with her talent and beauty," said Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid. "We’re also aware of the controversy caused by her statement about same sex marriages and the topless photos of her that have appeared online."
Mr. Hirsch said his studio is extending a business offer to Ms. Prejean without any preconceptions about her religious or personal beliefs but simply because a film with her would be profitable and could be an opportune way for her to benefit from her recent celebrity.
Should Ms. Prejean accept the studio’s offer, her movie would be distributed under the Vivid-Celeb imprint which is known for titles starring such personalities as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, Kim Kardashian and Ray J, Jimi Hendrix, Vince Neil and others.
"A movie with Vivid-Celeb could be an important step for her towards expanding her horizons," said Mr. Hirsch.
There’s one other thing I would love to put into her mouth to try to keep it shut, if tape doesn’t work.
In this case I should stand by Carrie Prejean. She was in a beauty contest and therefore she should have been judged based on her beauty merits, not her personal opinions on gay marriage, religion, politics or any other issues. Did they fear an anti gay marriage Miss California is a ‘bad role model’ for young girls? Let me ask you this: are Britney Spears, Lindsy Lohan and Paris Hilton any ‘good role models’, and if the answer is obviously no, then how Carrie Prejean could possibly be worse than them? Since when believing in the marriage between man and woman is worse than sniffing coke and passing out in public parties and crashing cars into tress? Isn’t this a perfect example of ignorant hypocrisy and modern discrimination that’s infecting America like a plague?
Do you even realize how fucked up it is to reject a beauty pageant contender based on her personal belief and opinions? If that’s not discrimination, then I don’t know what is. This nation is increasingly and seriously turning into a bunch of brain washed, soul less, coward hypocrites obsessed with consumption, debt, safety and political correctness. It’s such a hopeless, sad tragedy.
