I was a little confused with the whole “real actor” vs “non-actor” thing I she was speaking of regarding the casting of the “Girlfriend Experience” movie.
It’s true as she insinuates that the best actors don’t really act; they are in a state of being (while still being cognizant of the physical performance requirements). But sometimes trained professionals are the best ones to provide that, not “reality t.v.” non-actors who might be trying to act after all, but can’t (I haven’t seen the film yet, so am not insinuating that I’m at all referring to her, btw). Plus she said she employed some of Strasberg’s Method, so I’m even more confused. Doesn’t that make her an a “real” actor, too?
I’m actually happy for Sasha’s success. I think she deserves it. I also think many other porn stars deserve it, as well, but for mainstream to choose to focus on more than one porn “star” in particular at a time would be for it to acknowledge the porn industry on a level akin to mainstream, and that’s something they can not do. I do too, the problems with PWS with sexually abusive bbackgrounds is that most of them.
1. Do not really like sex, no matter who extreme are the sexual acts they are willing to do.
2. Try to hide their anger and self loathing either acting like bitches while at the same looking for attention and acceptance. Something is contradictory.
