This story angers me on so many levels and for so many reasons, so I’ll just touch on a few.
Shelly Lubben is just another con artist that has found out that you can make BIG money in Jesus’ name. (Maybe not yet Shelly, it will come, I can tell, you’ll be very good at this) Charity my ass! Can you say self interested MARKETING? Shelly let’s be honest, these chicks are using you and you are using them and, most importantly and shamefully, you are all using the Bible-Thumping Numb-Skulls willing to donate money to move along their shallow-minded agenda, your "cause". You are these girl’s meal ticket for the moment and they are yours to help build your "Brand". And you know full well this is exactly the kind of bullshit the media picks up on and the Christian Automatons get behind! Which makes this all shamelessly easy for you. And that is exactly why you picked this cause. But what is more shameless is that this wreaks of self interest.
There is no altruism here! Like most of these "Christian" scams you are giving nothing without getting something in return. You are USING these girls MORE than Porn ever did. Hey, you’ve launched your career on the backs of these girls who launched their careers on their backs freely and by choice. They were adults that made a choice of which job to take. And in perfectly legal industry as well. No one forced them to enter the Porn industry. And if they did, there are plenty of laws to cover it. Same goes for if they were mistreated in any way. No, you are "Going After Porn" for your own selfish, self interest and personal benefit.
Maybe someday soon you can count all your money like all the other charlatans in the "Christian Fund Raising Industry" and justify it by saying "Well Jesus would want me to prosper, and gee, look at all the good I’ve done for the world!" Nice racket! At least when you were fucking for a living it was an honest living!

Wow, there’s so much to comment on here and I don’t know where to begin. First off it’s okay to not believe in God but to put down those who do is idiotic.Whose to say which side is right or wrong. Does everyone in the industry hate God or shall I say the concept of God? There’s a whole other world out there besides porn maybe Diss-Belief should try living in it for a while and then take an honest look at the porn industry with open eyes. A lots of people may not believe in what Shelley’s doing but if you’re drowning any help you get is very appreciated even if it’s just a piece of wood to keep you afloat for a while.
I fail to see where God or even the concept of God was being attacked here. ALl I see is a usually justified condemnation of “christian” hypocrisy. Another example of some good, old-fashioned christian narcissism. They think the religion of christianity (specifically their own brand of it) is synonymous with God.
I could add a book on this subject. My myspace blog was the feature of fundamentalist attacks and Shelley Lubben diciples have sent me very rude and hateful mail. I should add that I personally was in contact with a girl that Shelley was ‘converting’ who was in porn. There was a huge piece in Shelley’s blog about her and raising money for her to start again. All of a sudden the blogs disappeared from view ( after I saw some pics of that girl on the net partying it up). One life helped is worthy, and there are worse things in the world than helping people. My two cents in this short space – there are lawyers, truckers and store clerks who need help from drinking, drugs and suicide. To single out porn girls and target them for help in the name of Christianity – just to make a buck, is using the girls just as much as the producers that she supposedly despises. Shelley was raising money to buy clothes for one girl (who owned a complete warddrobe)…. don’t ask me why. Again, if she has helped someone then great, but I do think her endless preaching against all things porn for self publicity is flat out wrong.

Colonel, I looked on every page of that post and Shelley herself is no where in it. The first person commends Shelley for getting girls out while someone else further down is still against Shelley for going to conventions and posing for pictures with current porn stars. Shelley speaks against the INDUSTRY. So of course that board will mostly support her because to them, every part of the entertainment industry they assume is run by Jews. It’s a known fact that she’s in bed with them and receives generous donations from them. Some members of Christian right wing groups and white supremacists might disagree with her for whatever buisiness or personal reasons, but the majority of them are her supporters, her bread and butter; and the fact that these anti-social, crazed, radical groups pay Shelly Lubben’s bills and support her in her crusade against pornography speaks in volumes about Lubben and her organization Pink Cross.
If the KKK claim that Jews are trying to destroy America via pornography why is porn legal to buy, sell and produce in Israel? Is it a Jewish plot to destroy Jews, too?
Some other interesting facts about Israel and porn:

While I do not dig the White Supremacist bs about porn as a Jewish plot, I do know that porn was not legal in Israel in the 90s, it was legal to rent and sell it but not to show it. Now is legal as you said.
But most of the talent seems to be Russian, Arab and Brazilan women, the same crown you see in the legal brothels over there.
The problem with Shelley she and her crowd while claiming to reach out to everyone seen to belong to a umpleasant branch of fundamentalist evangelical christianity with ties to the religious right, to people like the late Jerry Farwell and James Dobson.
And Shelley is unable to divorse a least a little what she does with the right wing beliefs of that crowd. That does limit their mainstream appeal. I know people that do like some of the things Shelley`s does but also say that they have no use for her religious and political beliefs.
And I do not see the White Supremacist connection other that some white supremacist are fundamentalist evangelicals that share Shelley’s religious beliefs about porn, but most white supremacist are neopagans or even darwinian atheists.
Shelley’s is more a Christian Sionist, something that might have endeared her to Luke, white supremacist are not Christian Sionists at all.
Rics my friend, white supremaciasts do not care about Shelly Lubben’s idealogy as long as they can use her as a vehicle to serve their fundamental purposes, which in this case is fighting against jew, black and foreigner pornographers who corrupt, enslave and exploit their Aryan sisters. Hence they do all they can to support her causes and he crusade.
On the other hand, Shelly Lubben does not care about white supremacists idealogy as long as they keep supporting her and Pink Cross. So as you see, it’s a match made in heaven, or hell, pick whichever you prefer.
