Craigslist Killer Suspect, Evidence found in his Apt.

Police agencies are reporting that found in Philip Markoff’s apartment were zip ties similiar to those that were used to handcuff victims and a semi-automatic. Rumors are flowing that Markoff had a gambling problem and lots of debt because of it.

When Markoff was arrested he was carrying $1000 cash and was on his way to Foxwood’s Casino.

The victims of the Craigslist Killer were all girls who would carry cash and be wary of reporting a crime to the police because they were in the skin trade. Maybe Markoff decided this would be an easy and policefree way to make quick cash to pay off his debt before his wedding in August.

I’m guessing he had no plans of killing anyone, but when the masseuse fought him as he was trying to bind her, he panicked and the gun went off. Do semi-automatics continue to fire when the trigger is pulled? The masseuse was shot three times in the chest at close range.

Markoff’s girlfriend thinks the Boston Police are mistaken and some officers are just trying to make money by selling their story to television programs. Can she say Delusional?

They better have finger prints or DNA, cause the evidence is REALLY weak so far…

He had zip ties in his apartment. A lot of people have zip ties. “Similar to the ones used”? Let me guess they were Clear, White, Black, or Red like most zip ties…

He owned a hand gun. Lots of people own hand guns…

He was carrying $1000 on his way to a casino. So that means he has a gambling problem? It would be more suspicious if he had $1000 heading for the Canadian border…

He had lots of debt. He is a medical student. 99.9% of medical students have lots of debt. Such debt won’t be covered by robbing low rent whores on craigslist…

I also don’t think his body structure fits the “person of interest” in the security camera pics. He appears to be a stocky young man with color in his face. The “person of interest” appeared to be a tall, skinny, sickly, pale, older man.

Ahaha! Right. She better be glad he was figured out before they got married.

  3. So far they haven’t shown any actual proof that this guy can even be considered as a suspect.

  4. “He owned a hand gun. Lots of people own hand guns…”

If he owns a handgun, you can match the bullets fired into balistic gelatine to the bullets found in the body. If the rifling matches he is toast. You can match the firing pin mark in the primer with the bullets fired for testing, and the extractor marks in the casing with the spent casings found on the scene, semiautomatics, unlike revolvers do left lots of casings in the scene. If they match he is toast. And also prove he is quite a moron. Once you fire a gun on a crime you must get rid of it. The gun alone can sent him to life in prision.

If he fought the girl, there must be rest of his skin under the girls fingernails, if they DNA match he is toast.
There must be also fingerprints (I mean, you do not wear gloves in a date with a masseuse) but I wonder if they are usable.

  5. This guy has had everything handed to him and had the world by the balls. Rich parents, medical school, allowance, beautiful girlfriend, and he is a gambling addict, and finds he enjoys robbing girls to pay his bills. Someone needs to show him the light….
