Joshua, why did you decide to direct this film?I used to be a film critic, and I was an HD expert before getting into adult. I’ve been a photographer for years, including that great December cover shot for Xcitement. Plus having the brilliant B.Skow as director of photography made my job really easy. He made it effortless.
How did you choose your cast?
Teagan and Gianna were an obvious choice because of AdultBluReview. With the help of my sponsors, we secured Sasha and Bree. Adam & Eve was very generous loaning us Bree for Malibu and upcoming Jamaica.
Any Drama on set?
The producers of the TV show shot footage all day. Teagan was nervous about getting drilled anally by Sasha because it was cold. She was afraid she would tense up. It turned heated between she and I as money was spent and it was important for the girl/girl scene to be as hard as possible. We argued on camera and she walked away. I was wrong on being hard on her, and she pulled it out like a champ.

The project’s sponsors, Genesis Magazine, Adam & Eve, A-List Features and XBIZ, will help narrow the submissions down to the Top 100 girls in the business. Fans will then be able to vote once a day and then the field will be narrowed to the Top 24. Sounds like a reality show? It is.
The Search for Sun Goddess XXX will be a network television show later this spring and fans will be able to tune into webisodes on the Sun Goddess XXX website next month to catch some unusual behind-the-scenes antics during the Malibu shoot, a tease of what is next for Jamaica. Fans will pick the Top 10 girls to appear alongside the pre-announced stars, and all the stars will fly to Jamaica for an intensive four-day shoot, and then six days of after-partying where fans can join in on the chaos via winning giveaways on Genesis Online and on XBIZ, as well as mainstream media giveaways, and on SunGoddessXXX.com.
Sun Goddess; Malibu will be available in March on DVD and Blu-ray, with its VOD debut to follow later this spring.

There goes another delusional loser whose vision of the adult industry is what he’s seen in HBO & Show Time documentaries. He has some lousy ideas about a run of the mill porn movie, and thinks he can pull it off by hiring some high profile whores and creating hype in press releases. If he thinks he’ll become a millionaire by shooting one single porn movie, and apparently that’s exactly what he’s thinking, then he’s got something to learn. I can only tell him this: I’ll see you in six months, scum bag.
