Porn Star Statement 2
The following is a partial statement which was submitted to the State of California in May, 2008, by a porn actress who is trying to leave the porn industry for good. She asked me to leave out some details as they may give away who she is. She tells me “one day soon my face and name and story will be for the world to know”. Please pray God would rescue her completely and provide for all her needs!
I worked in the porn industry from 2003 until present. I am still in porn. I was raped on the set, I’ve been fed drugs, forced to perform obscene acts and caught Chlamydia and Gonorrhea several times and have had over 10 staph infections which brought me to near death. I am now unable to have children.
I’ve been forced to work when I am bleeding from injury. I’ve been locked in a room and not allowed to leave until I finished my scene. I’ve been forced to reveal my personal life on camera.
I have been threatened that I would be sued if I didn’t finish a scene. I have shown up to the set thinking it was a scene when instead it turned out to be a “private” which is prostitution.
And yet I can’t help thinking you could have been more vigilant about who you were working for,and the kind of scenes you were expected to perform. If you were in an abusive relationship and he was forcing you that’s called battered wife syndrome, fuck me once shame on you, fuck me twice, shame on me. It doesn’t sound like you were in the right profession
Shelly Lubben reminds me of an old story: a priest sees a prostitute and starts insulting her, calling her names like abomination scum, parasite, etc. The prostitute replies: your holiness, I am whatever you say I am, but what about you? Are you whatever you say you are? In that sense, I respect prostitutes, whether porn whores or street walking junkies, more than Shelly Lubben and the likes of her, because a prostitute is honest, she plays her balls in the open, she sucks your cock to pay her rent, feed her children, get her drug money and survive, but with a self centered, self rightous, hypocrite, psychopathic cunt like Shelly Lubben, you’ll never know what you’re going to get, you’ll never know when is she going to rip you off and cut your throat and throw you under the bus; and that has always been the truth about the religious nuts and servants of god: what you see is not what you get.
That is not Shelley Lubben statement, is a written testimony from a PW who is trying to leave.
What she said is similar to what I have gathered from another sources.
Also I was floored to read in the statement about the return of morphine as a drug. I have talken to a active PW who has a morphine problem. And even uses liquid opium. I guess Heroin is old fashioned.
About some porn agent sending the girls to do privates, Coronel, we all know who he might be.

Sadly Ruby is ignoring the relatioship of battered women or in this case battered whore syndrome to certain mental illnesess. Many girls are clearly mentally ill and do need help to get out. And since porn does not turn anyone away, there is a place for persons like Shelley to help them out.

Rics, I highly doubt if Shelly Lubben has ever done anything for anybody in the adult industry, except for herself. Like Bill Margold, Shelly is a parasite who has learned to live off porn without spreading her legs and sucking cock on film. Talk is cheap, and it’s easy to beg for donations under the pretence of “helping out a girl to start a new life”, but it’s all a TV show, people like Shelly cannot and will not fullfill a person’s true need for support, guidance and understanding, probably they don’t really care, either. That’s why those girls who become the objectives of Shelly Lubben, XXX Church, PAW, etc. always come back. One of the most recent examples is Trinity James who’s currently turning tricks at a whore house in Las Vegas. If a girl wants to get out of porn and start a new life, she must be determind and motivated and rely on her family and/or freinds, going to Shelly Lubben and the likes of her is as effective as going to a witch for love spells.
I give Shelley the benefit of the doubt.
I see some girls that did seem to make a huge breaktrought. Becca Brat is one example. Despite her single motherhood.
The problem Coronel is that most girls in porn do not have a family and friends to rely on.
I have to go now but I can give you several real examples of porn chicks without naming names of course, that do not have family and friends to get them out. They do rely on the kindness of strangers.
Good or bad that is were people like Ms Lubben and other people, Heather Veitch, Harmony Dust, Anne Bissell do help.
But I do agree that one shortcomming of current approach is that they have little long term follow through.

But how come anytime someone wants to talk about the victims in the porn biz the only response is “there are victims everywhere.” Why cant you discuss the victims in porn and what the victims in porn go through? Or is it that the TRUTH about what happens on a day to day basis in the San Fern valley wouldnt be good for buissness?

Shelley did do porn. She got out and has now tried to help the girls who want help. She was once in their shoes.
How is she living well off of this? Many don’t donate to organizations that help porn stars and sex workers. Shelley has to go out and try to find people who are willing to donate.
If a porn girl says she has been victimized, her own industry says “whores lie”. But the industry continues to support the male criminals while throwing away the girls. Marc Wallice has his supporters and he still gets work behind the scenes while the women he infected with HIV have to scrape by financially. Most in porn don’t care about the victimized. Monique Alexander even said on the porn debate that she doesn’t care for the women in porn who have had a hard time in the industry. This coming from the woman that threw her best friend under the bus so she can continue having a comfortable position at Vivid after William Asher raped her best friend.
