Ted Kennedy and his brain cancer would have been upstaged.
All the Apalachin and Deep South voters would have rallied for their new presidential candidate Barack.
And most importantly, Darrah would have a new topic to fight about on XXXPornTalk…
Whatever… I’m more concerned with the sad possibility that Barack should be called “Uncle Tom” Obama, as he flip- flopped and approved Bush’s unamerican anti-american spy bill.

I still hope he wins over pro-war McCain but having a minority in high office won’t necessarily be great for things. Look at Condoleeza Rice and how she was white-washed.
Yea, about that:
If you’re still stinging from the FISA bill, remember these points:
a) the bill restored oversight that has been missing since the powers were expanded.
b) the bill only gave immunity from “civil” lawsuits, not criminal ones.
c) Obama didn’t like the bill, but he liked the lack of oversight for the next year even less. And it didn’t grant forgiveness for the criminal (anti constitutional) claims. It just prohibited civil suits – bad enough, I know, and maybe you and I wouldn’t have made the same decision, but I can understand and respect it.
