I hear it is being carved up and sold. As I posted a few weeks ago, AVN does not even own the tradeshow anymore, Home Entertainment Events, the tradeshow company, does. Paul’s partner Darren Roberts owns AVN Online. Fishbein is pissed he didn’t get as much money as he expected for the company. AVN as we know it won’t exist in a year.

Best news I’ve heard about AVN…ever, the magazine hasnt been relevant or needed for almost a decade. Any video store that still uses AVN as a stocking guide must have a good selection of VHS tapes. AVN could have been much much more.
There’s rarely any news on their site any more. It’s mostly lame press releases about Sunny Lane scratching her ass, or some video company actually shooting a scene.
