This thing is getting ridiculous. i know all of these guys. derek is an asshole. joel is a tool. mark is actually a decent guy. time will tell in regards to the escorting/fbi business but we all know that if anyone goes down over this it most certainly won’t be mark.

All it takes is one girl to goto the cops and pimp goes to jail. The whole pimp lifestyle and glamorized in the media but the reality is pretty grim. Derek, Mark, Mike and Joel all need to move the Nevada and do like Dennis Hoff and get a few mobile homes, put them togther and open a legal brothel. They wont bring a case unless they know can nail you. They will collect evidence for years and years and years before bringing charges. I dont know how these wanna be pimps sleep at night. I would always be worried the girls I yelled out or producers I pissed off because they could all be talking to the cops.
For example, think about a producer like Lee Goodwin(works for West Coast Productions). He already did a prison term and might still be on parole. His name is already in law enforcement books. Image he is driving around the valley smoking a joint and gets pulled over not having a selt belt on. The cop is an ass and smells the weed, runs his name, sees that he is on parole, he gets arrested and the car is impounded. Once arrested his probation office decides to violate him and send him back to prison but at the last minute tells Lee “hey, I know you do porn and we need you help in an investgation in the porn business, if you gather some information, I wont violate you, the charges will be dropped and you go home right now”.
Lee would be a complete idiot to not accept the offer.
How can these wanna-be pimps run a business when every single person they deal with could help put them away for years and years?
I know most of you will say “the producers arent at risk because porn is legal!”. This is a pretty weak argument. The Feds might turn around and say yes porn is legal but its only if its a shoot that has a legal firm permit, insurance and other stipulations.
So many producers are really guys wanting to fuck porn stars for their own enjoyment. Its not really a commercial enterprise. Perfect example are guys like TyEndicott.com. No one is buying his product. It simply a way for him to fuck girls. Like with Donny Long I will promise you that Ty Endicott has never obtained a film permit in his life. Same goes for production insurance. The Feds will ask, why do main stream shoots included student film makes at UCLA and USC film schools all have permits for their productions and people like TyEndicott dont?
The Feds will use legal tactics like this to nail who ever they want to the wall.

Does transporting women across state and sometimes international borders with inmoral purposes is legal? I do not think so. And that will bring the FEDS on your tail faster than selling pussy in LA.
The Mann Act is difficult to prosecute. Unless they have video of Derek and a hooker in a car, driving across state lines its a tough sell. Derek will always say the girls bought their own plane tickets or something similar. Any decent laywer(unless there is video tape evidence of both of them in a car driving across the state line with Derek at the wheel) would be able to beat the case .
derek has brining local and federal attention to the business for years. yet he is treated like a prince in the industry. Soon he will be wearing or orange jump suit.
