I spoke with Michelle Braun today. While she confirmed that she did have dealings with Derek Hay regarding Direct Models girls and her escort business, Derek always refused to accept payment from her, and often discouraged her from dealing with certain girls.
On the other hand, she said that Joel Lawrence of Goldstar Modeling was more than happy to take money for his referrals. In fact, she would send him a list of Goldstar girls she was interested in, and he would happily approach each regarding recruitment.
Hmmm. Aren’t they good friends? Derek cashes his girl’s checks without their consent who already have their own bank accounts so he can steal a check cashing fee… yet he refuses to accept payment, which is his primary motivation? Hmm.. First Derek says Joel is the source of this evil “rumor” without any apparent evidence and now this? Hmmmm. Of course, I’m an idiot and an ignoramus and know nothing about what I’m talking about.
Hopefully they ask Jeremy Steele to testify against Derek and Joel. I’ll bring a booster seat for Jeremy so he can see over the podium.

While Derek Hay is a friend I have never done business with him. As a matter of fact Derek discourages escort work and has personally asked that I not book certain girls from his agency. He also refused to recruit girls for me. However when it would become obvious that a girl was going to escort despite Derek’s protests he would always refer to me as he knows that I have the best interest of LA Direct Models at heart and the girls would be in good hands. That’s a good friend and a good agent. The most Derek ever received in return for these referrals is a few girls I introduced him to who were all too happy to spend time with handsome, successful British gentleman. Just a perk of being my friend! Joel Lawrence on the other hand did accept money for me (even after I told him Derek doesn’t) and would happily recruit girls even requesting on more than one occasion that I send him a list of girls that I liked. Joel is a hypocrite and he should shut his mouth.

Both Derek and Joel are lying assholes. They both have alot to do with escorting. Derek is pissed because Joel tried to steal Kevin and his girls so he his sending the blame to him.
