The Changing Porn Business

About ten years ago, gonzo overtook features to rule the XXX roost. Companies such as Anabolic became powerful so people could watch 18-year old girls getting double-penetrated, double-analed, gangbanged, etc.

In the last three years, you’ve seen the rise of five companies — Naughty America, Brazzers, Icey Porn, Bang Bros, and Matrix Content. Each company has at least 15 websites. They are desperate for content because they want to update each site every week.

The business is great for male performers who are in their twenties, look good, and can act. None of these sites care about double-anal and destroying some young girl. They want to know if you can be a pool boy for My Friend’s Hot Mom. Can you do Sex Pro Adventures? Big Tit Patrol? There’s less demand for the Brandon Iron-type (degrading) porn.

The wave of the future for male performers is less John Strong and more Jack Venice. It’s not Mark Wood as much as Charles Dera, James Deen, Johnny Sinn and Alan Stafford.

You’ve tripled the number of girls in the business. As porn becomes more accepted, more girls will get in. MySpace has revolutionzed porn because it is so easy to get girls off MySpace.
