PND: So you were a little wild before you got into the biz?

PND: Do you have any idea how long you want to stay in the biz?
Cheyenne: I've given myself a total of 10 years between, being in movies, directing my own movies and dancing. And then after 10 years I'd like to be on my ranch, and back in the mountains growing my crops, and livestock and everything.
PND: Have you ever walked off a set, or refused to work with someone? Cheyenne: I have refused to work with someone in the past, just because I was unsure of the test status, and there was a problem with that. I've gotten pretty upset on some sets and uncomfortable or problems and this or that, but I don't think I've ever walked off. I've put up with a lot of stuff and gone and shot what I need to do.

PND: What about people who think that porn degrades women?
Cheyenne: In a lot of cases its true, but I think if you don't let them, they can't do it to you, I mean, I don't really let anyone do that to me, I try to stay strong, and when I want to I am, you know who I want to portray, express myself, and so. Yeah, but it happens a lot, especially, the more naive, I've had it happen because I started in the business very naive.
PND: If you weren't in some field of adult entertainment, what would you want to be doing?
Cheyenne: Mainstream acting or modeling. I tried that out in Florida.
PND: How did that go in Florida
Cheyenne: It didn't pan out because I wasn't tall enough, I wasn't skinny enough. They liked, at the time, they were into that real skinny anorexic dead look. And I just wasn't there. PND: If I asked someone to tell me about Cheyenne Silver, what would they tell me about you?
Cheyenne: They would say that I am a nature girl (laugh), very free spirited, and adventurous.

PND: What do you do in your spare time? Do you go clubbing, do you stay at home?
Cheyenne: I'm more of a day time, enjoy the day, and love to sleep at night. I don't go out very late, very much, occasionally I will go out to just enjoy a good time out, but, my spare time I spend with my horse, I either go horseback riding, or I go wave running, I go biking up in the mountains, I go water skiing or snow skiing, I love camping, I do that once a week at least in the summer. I go visit my Mom in San Diego. I do a lot of outdoor adventure things.

Latest case in point - the misadventures of contract girl Cheyenne Silver. Nasty gossip has been posted about her on various sites such as GeneRossExtreme and PornGossip. I have no idea if it is true. Vivid won't tell me anything.

Silver is widely advertised on various escorting sites such as NicisGirls.com.

XXX writes: "Luke; I've read the gossip; I personally don't think it is completely inaccurate. Of course Vivid isn't going to comment on some problems they are having; it's not good business sense."

On March 13, 2001, Luke received this email from Chris: Wanting gossip: I stumbled across this photo and wondered who the happy trio was? I know one is that hottie, Stephanie Swift. Is this Cheyenne and her new Hubbie? Word was she was with Andrae Madness aka Dr. Fellatio. Was he married to Swift at one time? Whats the dillio?

I spoke Friday afternoon with Cheyenne's ex-fiance Gregory Bauman. I read him the allegations posted on GeneRossExtreme and PornGossip.com.

Greg: "I can't say that she doesn't have problems. She's going through some very difficult times right now. I've never known her to do drugs. I don't think she would be the type.

"She and I have not really spoken in the last two months. I know that she's going through some difficult times related to family members health issues. I wouldn't know about any abortion. The last time I talked to her, she was pretty troubled."

Luke: "You were engaged to Cheyenne a few months ago, at the same time that she was widely advertised on many escorting sites."

Greg takes a long pause before answering carefully: "Umm, I've learned a lot of things about Cheyenne in the last few months. I've gotten a lot of phone calls and a lot of email. Somebody is emailing me quite a bit of information that is unwanted about her, including that information. Saying things such as 'You're girlfriend is a high class hooker.' I wasn't aware of it.

"We've had a relationship for over two years. We've been off and on. This last Christmas she asked me to marry her and three weeks later she ended the relationship. Her behavior has been very erratic. I don't know why. In the last few months, a lot of things have come out. In retrospect, it is possible..."

Luke: "How well do you know her?"

Greg: "We dated between 1998-99. And then she got back together with her ex-boyfriend [Andrae Madness aka Dr. Fellatio] for six months, then came back to me. We spent another eight months together, had some more problems. She went back to her ex-boyfriend. Then last September, she got back together with me and things were stable through Christmas. She gave me a ring and asked me to marry her. Then at AVN [Expo in Las Vegas in January] things fell apart. Our relationship ended."

Luke: "Was it something that you did?"

Greg: "She had a vehicle that was stolen. And it was alleged that I had the vehicle... She believed that I took her vehicle. We had a fight. I was on the plane back to LA. She didn't call me for three days. Then she called me to say that her truck had been stolen. And she told the police that I had done it. I was very hurt by that.

"Then her behavior got very erratic. And our relationship ended."

Greg was never charged with a crime and was never interviewed by the police.

Greg: "I found out some things that she hadn't been to truthful with me about. She is back together with her ex-boyfriend. Which doesn't surprise me. She's gone back and forth between us for the last two years."

Bauman says he washed his hands of the relationship and he wishes Cheyenne the best of luck. "It's not a fun game to play anymore.

"I got a slew of emails from somebody, anywhere from 'Stinkpot Silver' to 'Did you know that your girlfriend is a whore?'... Somebody sent me every bit of information on her that they could. I didn't want it.

"I am concerned about her. The last couple of times I talked to her she was very upset. She was not at her best emotionally. She talked about getting out of the industry. She talked about everybody in the industry being liars. And she sounded very isolated. She felt like she didn't want to be a part of the industry anymore.

"I've known people in the industry for a while. I'm best friends with Reb Sawitz's daughter. I've known her ten years. I saw Cheyenne when she first entered the industry. She boarded her horse at my ranch. I would give her advice on things. I told her, 'Nobody really comes out of the industry whole. It tears everybody up. If you look at any woman over 30, they're not in good shape. They're either sexually screwed up, screwed up on drugs, not a dollar to their name... It is minimum wage emotionally. You have to make sure that you know what you're getting into.

"I don't think she did. I think the reality is setting in that her career choices may be causing her a lot of emotional problems. I do know that she is not the right kind of person to be able to handle the emotional abuse of being in the adult industry. It's too hard on her. In the over two years, I've seen her decay."

Luke: "God, this story is so typical."

Greg: "You name one woman past 30 who is ok. I feel like telling everybody in the industry, except for Steve Hirsch and the big guys who are making all the money. Everybody else, stop what you're doing. Look at what you're doing. And go get a job at Home Depot because at least they have profit sharing and a retirement plan. You'll be better off working in the garden section and you will probably have more money when you hit 30 [years of age] then you will in this business and you will probably be a lot more emotionally well off. Go get a minimum wage job.

"I'm not downing the adult industry. I have always said, 'If you're going to do it, do it right. Do it with safety and concern. And I've always been positive with her. I knew she was doing porn when I met her. I never discouraged her from doing it. If more people [in porn] would realize what an emotional strain it is, they would go get a job at McDonalds."

Luke: "When I met her in 1998, she just seemed so sweet and fresh and innocent."

Greg: "She has a very naive innocence to her. Unfortunately, people prey on that."

Luke: "What happened with her web site CheyenneSilver.com?"

Greg: "I'm going to get in a lot of trouble for this but I may as well say it because it is true. You can look up who was the administrator for her web site. He approached her before she signed her Vivid contract. He promised her quite a few things.

"She provided him with a number of her photographs. Her scrapbooks and things. He wanted amateur pictures and hardcore and softcore. I was worried about it. I said, 'You better be careful with this guy. He's young and ambitious and he doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing. But give it a try. It's a free site. Then you can launch a pay site later on.

"So he launched it and the first thing I noticed was that he had her four year old child on her web site. And her mother and her brother. Having a child on an adult web site, I would think, would be a federal violation. I told her to take those pictures down. He didn't do it.

"Then he had this supposed message board where people were calling her 'Stinkpot Silver' and I'm thinking, 'My God, this is supposed to be her web site. This is supposed to promote her to her fan base. And it is doing nothing but degrading her. I told her, 'You have control over this. Tell your webmaster to take the message board down. Take the kids off the thing. Clean this web site up.'"

Luke looks up the domain name CheyenneXXX.com on Network Solutions and finds: Vivid employee Christopher Haberski (Haberski@REALIDEAS.COM), who is at: 1033 12TH ST STE 301 Santa Monica, CA 90403-4265. The sites have been down for weeks.

Greg: "The webmaster was unresponsive. We had a breakup. For about two months, we didn't see each other. Then up came this letter on the front of her web site, that Vivid forced her to get her boobs done. She cried all the way to the doctor's office. And the letter made her sound like an idiot."

It's got to be coming directly from the webmaster. She called him and told him to take it down. And it did come down. But he didn't want to take the kids pictures off the web site. A four year old daughter on a porn site is bad.

"I sent him a strong cease-and-desist letter. He took the site down after that. This person [Christopher Haberski] happens to work in the chromes department of Vivid Video. And Vivid backed him. Vivid had a banner on the site. And Vivid basically told her that what she did was wrong. That she shouldn't have sent him a cease-and-desist letter. They didn't agree with it. I told her that she should come forward and tell the public what really went on. She never did. My feeling was that Vivid was condoning a four year old child on a pornography web site. And Vivid was the number one sponsor on the site.

"It looked to me like Vivid was putting the pressure on her to sign with them to have them make the web site because then they take 50% of the proceeds. It almost looked to me that Vivid was making her look bad to pressure her to sign with them for her web site. By putting up these nasty comments about 'Stinkpot Silver', by talking about her boobs, by putting up a ridiculous letter... By putting up all these rotten things about her. The site had the worst publicity of anybody... I couldn't have thought of a way to make her look more ridiculous.

"He did take it down. But he put an auto-link to it and stole the site. She owns the domain CheyenneSilver.com. He bought the domain CheyenneXXX.com. He put up an auto-link so that when people went to CheyenneSilver.com, it automatically went to CheyenneXXX.com. And he was using all the same material in all the photographs without her permission. And she never saw a dime from any of the revenues from the site. Vivid had a banner at the top.

"She asked him for the domain CheyenneXXX.com and he wouldn't do it. He said, 'I'll sell it to you for a profit.' And he called me on the phone and said, 'I just talked to Steve Hirsch and to Marci and they both agree with me that your letter is ridiculous and insane. And you shouldn't have done this. If you want to talk to me about this, we can talk, but I'm not going to do any of the things that you asked for in this letter.'

"We asked him that he take down the web site immediately. That he provide an accounting of any revenues. That he cease and desist any activity relating to Cheyenne Silver.

"It appeared to me...that Vivid said, 'Hey, let's make her look bad on this web site that she tried and she'll have more of an incentive to go over to our webmaster and sign up at 50% profit.'"

Luke: "I wish I knew what was going on with her."

Greg: "Her behavior has been pretty out there. But under the circumstances of what she's going through, that's understandable. She's under a lot of pressure. She does feel abandoned. She's really stressed out. If she does have a drug problem, I hope she's getting help for it. I wouldn't think she does.

"I got the posting from GeneRossExtreme and I hit the roof. I was so upset. On the one hand, I said there's no way this could happen. And the second part is, she has been acting extremely erratic. I can't see her doing drugs.

"As far as the escorting, I don't want to get into that. If she was doing it, I wasn't aware of it. I have become aware that she is on a couple of escort service sites. I'm getting all the same information that you're getting and I am just sitting back and going, 'My God. What's going on?' It's alarming. I can't say this wasn't expected but it didn't feel good to get that kind of information in my email box.

"We had a problem once before with somebody posting information about her. It seems to be somebody who's close to her and likes to stir up trouble. Her look on it was, 'Let the losers say what they want. They're all losers. They don't have a life. I'm not going to even comment on it.' I think that's a good attitude on her part.

"She's a bright girl. I drove her to the doctor's office when she got her boobs done. She was not happy about getting it done because she was scared. But she wasn't forced to do it. She loves them now. And as her boyfriend, we went back and forth on it. She spent about six weeks debating whether she should get it done. I was with her at the time she was negotiating her contract with Vivid. Part of the contract was to get her breasts augmented.

"I told her, 'Boyfriends try to be diplomatic. The pros are, it will fill your body out better. It will make you look more proportionate. You'll get more work from it. I think you'll feel better about it. I think you'll look better with them, as long as you don't get them too big.

"It was funny. About four months ago, she said, 'Why didn't you tell me that I had icky little boobs?' And I said, 'That's why boyfriends are diplomatic. I didn't think you had icky little boobs.'

"She said, 'Well, I looked at pictures of myself before and I'm looking at pictures of me now, and I think I had icky little boobs.' I said, 'Boyfriends don't say things like that. They say, 'Well, I think you're going to look better.'

"I took care of her the week after she got her implants done. She wouldn't let me go home. I had to stay with her the whole week.

"She's a sweet girl. She's a little naive to the business. And I think it's taking its toll on her."

Luke: "Do you think it was a good decision on her part to get the breast job?"

Gary: "I think they're [the new augmented breasts] are phenomenal. They're beautiful. I think it was a great decision. She had medium sized waist. She's not very petite in the hips. And her breasts, they filled her proportions out well.

"Looking at her test shots for Vivid, I said, 'You're frame is just not right for your boobs. They're too small. And if you increased them to a moderate size, you'll look great.'

"She was very concerned. Every person that she talked to had a different idea. She did go to get her boobs done, I drove her down. And she was so upset that she couldn't get them done and she left the office. And we had the surgery all planned. We rescheduled it for three weeks later. By that time, she'd made up her mind. So there was no problem.

"I'm glad she did cancel out the first time. One thing that was really nice...was that they called her right away. They said they understood and they were supportive of it. And that she could come in to talk to them about it. They didn't say, 'You're fired. We're going to cancel your contract.' So Vivid said, 'Let's work this out.' I think Steve Hirsch went out of his way to make her feel comfortable about that. She was really stressed out. She said, 'I'm going to lose my contract. I'm going to lose this...' Steve Hirsch called and was very supportive of her. I think that helped her decision as well to get them done [in May of 2000].

"She got a full C cup. They look great. They feel natural.

"She was very unhappy with them after the surgery. About two weeks after the surgery because of the swelling. I told her, I've dated girls who've had their breasts done before, you're going to have a lot of swelling. Don't be upset because they're going to be a lot bigger than they would be normally. So I remember one time when she was angry that they were too big. But eventually the swelling went down and she was fine. I can't image how they could've done a better job."

Luke: "Did she come to like them?"

No answer isn't no answer. It is an answer. Just not a clear-cut one. Also, since some pornsters have accused you of printing rumors without getting the other side first, they may be leary to come out and give you a scoop.

The publicists at Vivid have always been first rate with me -- especially compared to mainstream publicity flacks. However, I admit that in order to get interviews with Vivid personalities, you sometimes need to reassure them first that it won't hurt their family friendly image.

On the other hand, once the interview has been set up, I've found most of the Vivid folks to be good interviews and willing to talk about their work as much as anyone.

I interview all sorts of folks -- not just porners -- and, being perfectly honest, sometimes I would rather have a ``No comment'' than a straight answer.

Luke says: Well, I and my peers can't stand them because you can never seem to get a straight answer out of them to a tough question. Your job doesn't require you to ask tough questions. You don't have to cover Vivid on a sustained and indepth basis. For you, Vivid is great. For mainstreamers who come in to the industry to do one story, Vivid is fantastic.

Look at the evidence:

1. Vivid was the top banner on the Cheyennesilver.com site. run by one of VIVIDS empoyees(CHRIS HABERSKI)-that is advertizing.

2. The site had a little girls pic on it, some other pics that were questionable, and never had a warning page saying there was adult content on the site. Im sure there was no releases signed....

Thoughts On Cheyenne Silver

Holly writes: Dear Luke, Was just sent an email directing me to your site where I read all the latest gossip on Cheyenne and her ex-boy-toy, Greg. I am slightly biased on that subject, as I am someone who knew them personally as a couple, as well as individually. I was a little surprised to see how honorable and diplomatic Greg was when talking about Cheyenne and it only made me respect him more than I already did.

With all that she put him through, over and over again, I would have bashed her and let the truth be heard if I were him. When I asked him why he didn't say more, he indicated that she was going through some rough times and didn't want her hurt or dragged through the mud, more than she already was. Personally, I always thought that Cheyenne was a truly beautiful girl, who, although not very bright or worldly, had an innocence and sweetness to her that could actually take her far in life. She could have taken almost any path in life and made it a success. However, at a very young age, she chose the wrong path and has degrated herself and trashed herself. I doubt that she would have gone this route if she didn't have very deep-seeded problems stemming from her adolescence.

She is a very troubled girl, on a road to self-destruction and she seems to be taking prisoners on her way down, Greg being one of them. I thank God that he got out of that mess before he ended up marrying her and getting himself into real trouble. Throughout their relationship Cheyenne trashed him over and over, playing his heart strings like a violin. She would love him one minute and act like a cold bitch the next, with no explanations. It turned out that she would do this every time she had cheated on Greg, or wanted to, so that she could purposely start a fight and get him to give her a reason to break up with him. She constantly lied to him about other guys and jobs she was doing which supposidly involved a lot of money, but NO sex. Ya, right!

I can't say much for Greg's sanity during this relationship either, if he believed all of her lies or chose to ignore them. But, I just think that he is a kind person who was in love and wanted to believe that he could help "save" her. Cheyenne needs to take a cold, hard look at herself and finally realize that she is a valuable person, without having to spread her legs to succeed. If she would just learn to like herself and respect herself and put this life of trash behind her I think that she could have a chance in this world. However, at this point I don't think that she's capable of it and it would require a TON of therapy, and facing her past and all she's done wrong. Currently she is a very unstable person and therefore she plays total head games with the people in her life. I feel most sorry for her daughter, who can't expect a much brighter future than Cheyenne has created for herself, as long as Cheyenne continues to raise her so poorly.

She is by no means ecquiped to be a mother, and if she really loved her daughter, which I believe she does, she would see that herself. Love is not enough to raise a healthy human being in this world anymore, and I'm afraid that this is ALL Cheyenne can offer her daughter. I already see signs in this little girl that show that she's headed for trouble, and so the cycle continues. It's truly a shame when young, messed up women allow themselves to have babies themselves because they are just propegating the same horrendous life that they've lived for their child. I can't believe any Mother would want that. I guess they just don't see the real picture because they're too close. What pisses me off even more is that apparently Cheyenne keeps making the same, irresponsible mistake and has had a few abortions. (None of which were ever Greg's, by the way). That girl needs to keep her legs closed and get a clue about protection and birth control or I'm afraid she'll wind up with a lot more then just another child someday.

Can't somebody out there talk some sense into her and take her away from this life of being a whore? Can't someone make her see that she is only selling her body and sex for money, and no matter what she chooses to call it, it's being a whore. She needs to get help, if not for herself, then for her daughter. I pity the men that she has been with, especially Greg B., who is a kind person in need of a women with a kind heart herself, and that certainly wasn't Cheyenne. I think her heart turned to stone a long time ago and the only passion and true feelings she can have are between her legs.

Cheyenne, wake up and get a clue, baby. Is this what you want for the rest of your life? Do you look in the mirror, or into your daughter's eyes, and feel proud of yourself and like a good role model for her. Cheyenne claims to be doing the porn scene only so she can save enough money to buy her ranch and live a quiet, happy life. She's only fooling herself. She has been pulling in a fabulous income from Vivid and side jobs, (blow jobs) for over a year now and she doesn't have a penny saved to her name. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from her, because we all know that she'll be back. I'd bet my last dollar on it. Sometimes you have to put your own sanity before trying to help another, especially after you've tried and tried.

Oh and by the way, at the time her truck was supposidly stolen out of hotel valet in Vegas and crashed, Greg was on a plane back to L.A. She knew that better than anyone and yet still publicly blames him just to trash his name. I think she knows damn well who was really responsible and just wants to hurt Greg for finally wising up to all of her deceit and lies. Wasn't your ex-boyfriend in Vegas too Cheyenne, and didn't you disappear for hours and then lie about where you were? Do you have an honest, up front bone in your body? You deserve whatever you get, just don't take Greg down with you anymore, or you can expect trouble with a capital T.

However, as far as those "Stinkpot Silver" comments all over the place, I do have to say that this is just down right mean. I may not like what she's done or how she's living her life, but come on guys. I can tell you all that she is a very hygenic person and I know that she tries to keep herself fresh and clean. Sometime an odor can occur that you can't do anything about becuase of certain bacterias in the vaginal area. This is a problem for only her doctor to solve and is nothing to make fun of.

It has been alleged that porn star and Vivid Contract girl, Cheyenne Silver, has been in recovery since January due to alleged complications to an abortion and the addiction to cocaine and perscription pills. Gregory Beaumont writes: Luke; Thank you for calling on March 30 regarding [Vivid girl] Cheyenne Silver. It seems the interview stirred the "pot" quite a bit. I'm sorry for all the negative attention given to Cheyenne, thats one thing I never wanted.

Please understand that Cheyenne is a seriously troubled girl. Yes, much of the gossip, I admit, may certainly be true. But it is not my position to affront those who may know or have worked with Cheyenne. The people at Vivid have some issues to deal with given the letters posted on your site regarding web sites and their dealing with public relations. Inept children should not attempt what professionals are most competent in doing.

Being called the "adult" film industry doesn't always reflect in those who are a part of it. It has been my experience that many are very insecure and really don't know what capacity they hold but try to emulate some kind of facade of decorum. The cleanest pig in the yard is still a pig; especially when viewed from the other side of the fence.

I most definitely will not be a part of some campaign to sling mud against Cheyenne, Vivid, or their employees. I have been contacted in the last few days by many who want more information; I am well informed and know what problems exist but I would opt to refrain from publicly ridiculing anyone; their own actions are the rewards they must shoulder. My life is not about prattling on with negative information about others unless it concerns me.

My mother always said, "Every challenge you face, win or lose, is a learning experience.... go forth and become educated." I have learned a great deal about the torment and self destructive nature that is the beast of the adult film world. I was present during an interview with Ron Jeremy at CES on relationships; his observations are direct and very relevant. Relationships are hard, relationships in the porn industry are extremely hard if not impossible.

More individuals in the industry should learn that this is not just a "quick buck for an easy f---" world. There are those in the industry who need help; Cheyenne being one.

Yes, my ordeal with her was difficult and yes I knew she was involved in the the many things people have asserted. Many times I have held my head in my hands yelling "IM SUCH A FOOL" and have cried. Its hard loving someone who hides behind lies for survival. Everyone does make choices in life and mine was to not throw her out and confirm her problems. Resurrecting life's sorrow and mistakes is counterproductive and bad karma. I simply tried to help.

I appreciate the nice words by some of your readers but assert that I'm nothing more than someone who cares; and try not to focus on the negatives. If I can give one word of advice to your readers it is to "learn to love" everyone around you. Stop with the hurt. Compassion for your fellow workers, lovers, or anyone else goes a long way in life. You all have the ability to be as beautiful or ugly as you wish. You will hold dear those times when someone has been sheltered from the pain that life bears. He informed me that he was granted a restraining order against Cheyenne Silver for stalking and terrorist threats. Filed in Los Angeles Superior Ct North Valley division on April 13, 2001. This girl is a complete idiot. She needs to be committed. She can't have him.

The troubles of being in the industry include physical violence; not always the result of a man hitting a woman. As with the case of my relationship; I was the punching bag.

She will be in a neck brace for six weeks and is healing quite well. Production on the Villikon film will resume in April '06 and Cheyenne Silver will continue in the role of Mystere but in how great a capacity is still unclear. Her #7 vertebra was broken but she has had very positive neurological tests.

Bryan Kinnaird and Director Shian Storm have formulated a new plotline for the film featuring a greater role for two existing characters, the addition of more characters from the comic book series, and an alternate vision for telling the story with existing footage and a new scenario for the film’s ending.
