Internext & AVN Expo At Same Time

Giorgio writes on GFY:

I will proactively boycott both events. While I have absolutely nothing against Aly, AVN is attitude reminds me of Microsoft. Florida was a major dissappointment and waste of money (save for the wonderful hospitality offered by Camz.com, Netbilling.com, Sammy & Brett, etc.). The shows are getting much smaller, much more expensive, much less productive, etc. AVN wants to subject ourselves to business chaos - no thanks. AVN's solution to saving its declining convention business is to charge more for everything and impose monopolistic practises.

Content Producer writes: "MOST webmasters and internet people do not even go to the AVN show. InterNext is for our business, now we need to fight through the crowds just to get there. Dumb move."

Trixie Racer writes: "Internext and AVN running at the same time is extremely inconvenient. Basically, it forces many of us to make a choice. I've attended the past 3 AVNs and the past two Vegas Internexts. Internext is much more important to me than AVN, so since I'm forced to choose, I choose Internext. I bet AVN will lose a lot of money because of this bad decision."

Taryn Thomas Burned Out

She blogs:

Lately I have been feeling like crap in PornValley. When I first got here all I wanted to do was work, work, work. Never wanted to go home until I was done with porn or maybe just for a vaction to see my family and friends. But now I just want to go home. This feeling I have and have had for a while now is just not going away. So I think it's time I took a while off of work. No I am not going to quit. But I do need some time off. So I am going home on the 19th of August. I am going to come back to Porn Valley on August 31st work all month in September and some of October. Then I am leaving Porn Valley until January. I will be signign at the convention and then I will return to work. But for now I need some time away from this place. So here you have it the way I feel. I need a break.....

AVN Publisher Tim Connelly Checks Into Rehab

Mike South writes: "I started hearing rumors today that Tim Connelly was ousted from AVN. I have heard these in the past but this time it was coming from high up sources. When I started pursuing it, it came out that he had admitted himself to rehab, this was the most reliable source yet so I contacted AVN and was told that it was, in fact correct that he is in rehab but that he has a job when he gets out, he has not been terminated or released from AVN."

AVN President Paul Fishbein writes: "Mike South came to me today and he had it right. Tim's going into rehab and taking care of his problem. When he returns he will still have a job at AVN. He needs to get healthy. It takes a big man to admit he has an addiction so I want to support him while he works things out. He's taking as long as he needs. I hope people are supportive."

Connelly's had a long-running cocaine problem.

Rodger Jacobs writes:

All I can say is it’s about goddamn time. I also share Mike’s sentiments about not kicking a man when he’s down but I will say that this normally soft-spoken, generous editor and publisher went through a long period of time where he was making promises to a lot of writers around town that he couldn’t keep. Plenty of people, myself included, fell victim to Connelly’s well-intentioned but ultimately very harmful deeds.

Good luck, Tim. Give me a call sometime.

Jeff Stryker Biography Cancelled

Loverboy writes on ADT:

Not too many book bios on pornstars out there. One was scheduled for release this spring, then postponed until this month about Jeff Stryker (some major internet booksellers even had the cover of it shown for preorders). Apparantly it now has been cancelled which is too bad as I'm sure Jeff's life would be an interesting story....including being a single father and doing both straight and gay (I post here as his straight vids are my favorites). According to Jeff, he was asked to make up too much material for the book. Hope some day he will be able to release a truthful bio. It would be an interesting contrast to his on screen persona.

Dennis Hof: 'Cathouse Out Of The Bag'

JMT writes: "Maybe somebody at HBO finally recognized that televising a blatant, completely staged infomercial for Hof's whorehouse, and calling it a "documentary," makes them look like chumps and sleazebags."

Kimberly Kane Interview

I call her Tuesday afternoon, a few hours after interviewing her fiance Jack The Zipper.

She sounds distracted. "I have a couple of minutes," she says. "We're just having a family thing, but I can talk."

Duke: "When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?"

Kim: "Umm, let me gather my thoughts. You have impeccable timing.

"My mom thought I was going to be a rock star. She had high hopes for me. She didn't realize that I suck at playing guitar. I wrote songs and I was really into music as a teenager.

"I was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. At 13, I decided I needed a change of scenery and I moved to Oregon to my mother [a stripper]."

Duke: "What kind of crowd did you hang out with in highschool?"

Kim: "The smokers.

"I wasn't that great of a student, though I was great in the classes where the teachers cared. I was a good student in classes with good teachers. I was misunderstood when I was a teenager.

"I was a wild child but I could be easy and I could be taught but only a handful of teachers took the time to care.

"I wasn't a troublemaker."

Kimberly lost her virginity at 15 to her boyfriend. "I wasn't a dater. I didn't have boyfriends [aside from that one]."

Duke: "How did you get into the porn industry?"

Kim: "I grew up around the business. My mom helped produce a $150,000 softcore film when I was 17. I don't want to say the name of the film because I know the stars now.

"Back then, my mom was kooky and she had issues with the creators, who were the stars of the movie. The movie was never released because of these issues.

"Now I know the stars and they don't remember me from back then being her daughter. I want to keep it that way.

"When I came to live with my mother in Oregon, I was around the business. That's why I'm comfortable out of making a career of something I've been in for a long time and know well.

"My mom was a Hawaiin Tropics award winner. She was a beauty queen, dancer, and model." She never did porn.

"She's proud of me now, but when I first told her I was getting into it, she was upset.

"I have a step-brother, half-brother and real sister. My sister is totally awesome. My mom, aunt, grandma, know what I do and they love me. My little brother was the location scout on Stunt Girl 2. They're in the business too. They've been around it for a long time. They're proud of me."

Duke: "What do you love and hate about the porn industry?"

Kim: "That you can come into this business and not have a good education (like myself) and be successful. You can be a woman and be successful. You don't have to take s--- from anybody. I hate people who abuse and degrade women and men. Kahn Tusion and Meatholes and those sites that make their money off degrading. They're the ones who give porn a bad name. I know plenty of people in porn who are good people."

Duke: "How long have you and Jack the Zipper been together?"

Kim: "It's our one-year anniversary today. We met on the set of Stunt Girl in March [2004]. He'd seen me on talent sites and he didn't know how to get a hold of me. From the second he opened the door to greet me, I was like, He's cute. We're best friends."

Duke: "What are the joys and sorrows of dating someone in the industry?"

Kim: "It's not that difficult. I'm condom-only. I don't work all the time. I'm extremely selective. I have a short list of people I'll work with. And I'm doing my own projects. I'm directing a movie - Naked and Famous. It's bizarre. You never know what I'm going to do next in it. It's not just a boy-girl movie. It's not just a girl-girl movie. There don't have to be a certain number of DPs in it. Some of it is going to be shot in New York. I just shot a scene at the Mondrian Hotel last night with Faith and Mr. Marcus.

"A female director I really enjoy is Celeste (aka Bunny Luv). Andrew Blake claims he taught her all she knows. That's not true. I called her one day to say, I'm directing. I have a radio show on KSEX. I review your movies. I really enjoy them. Thank you for caring about your projects. We had a good creative-women-to-creative-woman conversation."

Kimberly has been a host for a couple of months on KSEX's Porn Honeys (Wednesdays at 6pm) review show with Maria Menendez and Hailey Page (when she can).

Duke: "Sounds like you're busy."

Kim: "I love it. I know every single person in this business. I know everything that everyone's doing, same as you."

Kimberly made her first film at the end of August 2003 - Troubled Teens, directed by Pat Myne.

Kane turns 22 on August 28.

Net porn 'fuels prostitution'

THE growth of internet pornography has seen the demand for prostitution in Australia soar.

Sex abuse expert Mary Anne Layden will tell a NSW parliamentary forum today how Australia's increasing appetite for prostitution has led to more women being trafficked into the country than ever before.

Dr Layden is a psychotherapist at the University of Pennsylvania who specialises in treating victims and perpetrators of sexual violence and addiction. "Internet pornography and the legalisation of prostitution have driven up demand through a set of beliefs that imply that this behaviour is normal, acceptable, common and doesn't hurt anyone so the person has permission to continue to behave in that way," she will tell the forum...

Jack The Zipper Interview

I call him at noon Tuesday.

Jack (the fiance of Kimberly Kane) says he that when he was a kid he wanted to become an archaeologist. "I wanted to travel and see the world.

"It didn't work out. I got into music (at age 13 playing the guitar and the saxaphone) and saw the world that way. I was in the early stages of the industrial punk scene. I played in such bands as Bile and Crash Worship."

Jack won't give up his real name.

Duke: "What did your parents expect you to become?"

Jack: "Extinct. I was a rowdy kid, a daredevil. When I was 16, I fell 175 feet off a cliff in upstate New York. They had to chopper me out and call down home to my parents [in Long Island] and tell them I fell off a mountain.

"I was on a field trip with school. We were going to a place called Howell Caverns, a huge system of tunnels.

"The schoolbus stopped on the side of the road. My friends and I jumped out and ran into the woods to take a leak. A whole side of a mountain broke a part, a landslide, the winters had been harsh and made the area unstable... My friends watched me disappear into a cloud of smoke and slide down this hill and disappear off a cliff like Wily Coyote.

"All day long I had been seeing thousand-foot cliffs. I wouldn't go near them, but this one I went off, I ended up landing on a shelf 175 feet down."

Duke: "Did something cushion your fall?"

Jack: "Yes, my head and the side of my body. I don't remember the fall. I remember going off the side. I remember loosening up. I believed I was going off a 1000 foot cliff. It was a liberating experience. I thought I was gone. I was young and in good shape. Like a drunk guy going out of the windshield of a car, I think that if you're loose, you don't sustain any internal injuries."

Duke: "So what injuries did you sustain?"

Jack: "I had some bad road rash. They were picking rocks and stones and pebbles out of me with these long tweezers. They had to hold me down. Two of my fingers were going in the wrong direction when I woke up [immediately after the fall]. I felt up to my scalp and I had a nice gash and I was able to touch my skull. Other than that, I was all right. I was able to walk down to the valley under my own power with the rescue guy. Then they brought a chopper in.

"I was into motorcross. I played sports (lacrosse) while doing drugs. We lived in the woods [of Long Island]. There were systems of irrigation drainage, tunnels, that we mapped out as kids. We lived underground. We lived in treehouses.

"Imagine the joy of knocking one of your friends 40 feet into a tunnel filled with black water and bloated rats. We had wars down there. I didn't have to answer to anybody. I was left to my own devices.

"I was going to become a professional lacrosse player but music took me over."

Duke: "What kind of student were you?"

Jack: "I was in the advanced classes, sitting in the back of the class, getting into trouble, and doing a good job of winging it. I had a bit of an attention problem but I was teaching myself a lot of things, such as science, art and music. But the structure of school was a problem. I wanted to travel the world."

Duke: "Who did you hang out with in highschool?"

Jack: "I hung with the heads, the rockers, the punks but I crossed over into other groups. The punk scene was at its height. I went into New York to see the CBGBs and the legendary punk bands. Meanwhile, my father was a Marine trying to stress the other side."

Duke: "What year did you graduate highschool?"

Jack: "I'm not going to say. I'm going to keep my mysterious thing going."

Duke: "How did you get into porn?"

Jack: "In a roundabout way. After the band years touring, I became a tattoo artist. I opened a tattoo studio in New York. It was very successful. I traveled the country as a tattoo artist for seven years. During that time, I was interested in experimental filmmaking. I had a short stint at UCLA film school. It didn't last because I was too rowdy.

"My experimental filmmaking, my crazy girlfriends, and my lusts and my passions were driving me in that direction. It happened quickly that we decided to finance Stuntgirl 1 & 2. It was the right time and place. I was winding down tattooing every day. It was getting grueling. I had always seen myself as a filmmaker. I think of the adult industry as the punk rock of filmmaking.

"We shot Stuntgirl over several months. We took money and shot a scene. Then we waited for another batch of money to shoot another scene. I learned how to edit. I cobbled the movie together. It has the look of a travelogue because of that.

"We had the movie made. We visited the shows and shopped things around. I gave Andrew Blake a copy of it because I respected his work. As I was making the first movie, I realized that he was a big influence. It occurred to me that I was seeing his images in my head and am starting to understand some of the things he thinks about.

"He put it in his suitcase for six months and then one day out of the blue I got a phone call from him. He was very complimentary. At that moment, I was getting distribution [through Hustler]."

Jack's starting his fifth movie. Like Andrew Blake, he doesn't appear on camera. "I'm Current 93. Male energy. I like to be the one who frames everything. I bring in male talent who I turn into that current. I focus on women in the movies. My personal life fuels these movies but I don't need to appear in them. I'm trying to be a visual artist."

Duke: "Where does your interest in the occult come from?"

Jack: "Traveling for years and meeting certain women, beautiful powerful women, who've turned me upside down.

"My first two movies have gotten me some work in the mainstream industry. I'm writing a large mainstream movie."

Jack moved to LA a few months ago. "It's a permanent move. Hollywood is really interesting."

Duke: "What do you love and hate about the porn industry?"

Jack: "I love that I could visualize a path for myself and make it happen in a short time and work with the best people in the business almost immediately.

"I'm an outsider. I don't mingle in the porn business. I don't have time to hate. I don't like seeing movies that don't make movie stars out of people. I don't like the idea of a beautiful young girl coming into the business and getting wrecked in six months. I'd rather see her blossom.

"The first [porn] movies I ever saw were On The Prowl (by Jamie Gillis). I remember finding an ad for On The Prowl in a back of a magazine. I searched out Jamie Gillis and called him in San Francisco. I could immediately recognize his voice. I sent him a check in the mail and he sent me some On The Prowls.

"I talked to him this year. I showed him Stuntgirl. He really liked it. You can't get five words out of Jamie if you beg him, but he's a genius. I want to put him in a scene. We spent a day together in New York."

Duke: "How do you think working in porn affects your soul?"

Jack: "I believe I have a soul and I don't sell it to anybody. I don't exploit anybody. I'm trying to make art. I'm tapping into the most powerful energy -- love and hate, sex and death. When people think about those subjects, they should think about what they're going to be thinking about on their final day.

"I'm meeting people of character and integrity in this business because I choose to."

Duke: "I'm looking at your 2257 page, and it lists a 'William V. Decandido.' Is that you?"

Jack: "That's my lawyer. Good try. You don't know want to know who Jack the Zipper is. Everybody's Jack the Zipper. Jack the Zipper is the guy watching the movie. It's the male energy. I took that lesson from Andrew Blake. You don't want to see Andrew Blake's face. You want to see those beautiful images. When people cover me, they have to print the picture I made instead of a picture of me holding a camcorder and flipping a peace sign. I'd rather the name was connected to beautiful imagery."

Duke: "Which industry (music or porn) is more sexual?"

Jack: "If you want to get girls, be a tattoo artist. You're making a physical connection with people daily that is hard to beat. Bands have a reputation for that. I didn't see it to the level of the legend. If you're just a journeyman musician, one of many bands... The porn industry has so much emphasis on sex that it turns itself inside out. There are people [in porn] who hate sex or who have created a shield around themselves sexually.

"I want to leave you with one more story. I recently got to talk to a grandfather in his 70s. He's from Russia and is a brilliant painter. When he was a young man, an erotic postcard showed up in his village, a photograph of a nude women. The people in town had never seen anything like it. It was the first pornographic image that had ever entered that town. Each person in the town was allowed to hold the postcard for ten minutes and then give it to the next person.

"For his entire [adult] life, this man has been a recognized painter of nudes and erotic images of women. He told me that that image he first saw is the same image he's been painting his entire life.

"That postcard was a powerful piece of pornography. Look at how we just dispose of it."

Dennis Hof: 'Cathouse Out Of The Bag'

Dennis Hof, owner of the world-famous Moonlite Bunny Ranch is wondering if the time has come to take his late-night Cathouse series from HBO to another network.

Hof says the cable network has been skittish about promoting the series, and is perplexed by the network's decision given the popularity and high ratings of the show.

Hof shared his views on the situation recently, and had this to say: "The Cathouse is out of the bag. HBO, because of the conservative Republican environment, wanted me to low-key the marketing on this show. They didn't want me to do things in Washington, D.C. They didn't want me to do things in Baltimore. They wanted me to stay away from television. They wanted me to just do radio and the Internet. They wanted a type of underground marketing approach. This came from HBO's p.r. people and the producers of the show. They gave me no support at all. They wouldn't put out a press release. They wouldn't give out any clips to any news media. They spent no money outside of HBO. The only thing they did was market it within HBO.

"The interesting thing about this is that they're afraid of this conservative environment, when a lot of their success comes from their late-night programming. My point is why are they worried about it when HBO is a premium channel?

"It's bad enough that you've got the FCC and the Bush administration telling us what we can watch and listen to and all that. It's ironic that what makes HBO so successful—the late-night and adult programming—is something they don't want to talk about.

"We beat Entourage and The Comeback on HBO. Last week we also beat the debut of FX Channel's Overcome. We also beat Monk on the USA Channel. "HBO's late-night programming is doing real, real well, but they won't tell anybody. Just imagine if they would have put the same multi-million dollar marketing campaign that they use for Entourage for Cathouse what kind of unbelievable results they would have had. It would have been gigantic.

"HBO s trying to re-negotiate another year of shows with me. My concern with them is, 'How can I re-negotiate another year with HBO when they're not proud enough to tell anyone about my show being a total success?' It's a smash hit. The show's like masturbation to HBO—they like it a lot, and they want to do it more, but they just don't want anyone to know about it.

"Is it time to take the Cathouse show to another network that will be proud of it and promote it? Or is it time to take the show and tone down the sex a little bit and do more of a mainstream version of it somewhere else? Either one of those would work."

Kathy Willets Leaves Body Miracle, Feels 'Outraged' By Her Treatment

She writes on BigDoggie.net:

As of this date, I am no longer allowing bodymiracle to secure time with me. For those of you who are wanting to book a meeting with me, please contact Sophies Dream Girls.

As for bodymiracle, I'm sure that most of you are familiar with what has happened to the former owner [Robert Holiday was imprisoned for income tax evasion], and a changing of ownership.

In the past I thought that BM had received a bad rap by some posters, especially at that other board. As for myself, when the previous owner was running BM, I NEVER had one problem with his staff, or with being paid on time. The latter was a major contention on that other board, with certain girls claiming that it took forever for them to receive payments, I always received mine within a week.

I have continued to work with BM, since the change, however yesterday I e-mailed them to let them know that their ad for me in Boston,on EROS, was not up as of yet. I received an answer from an Emily, asking me where I was, what city I was in, and that they had left several messages on my cell phone.

I have no idea what she was on, but whatever it was/is, must be pretty potent. I called her immediately and asked her who at BM had called me, and why was it BM did not know where I was. Since their site has or did have my schedule, and their weekly posting here at TBD has my schedule. I had e-mailed my schedule to BM twice, which is how they were able to post my schedule at their site She felt the professional thing to do was to hang up on me! For those of you who know how I operate, I'm sure you can imagine my reaction.

BM never called my cell phone, as it was always on, there were NO messages on my cell phone, there were NO messages on my home phone, and they did not e-mail me. So for the first time in 3 years, apparently BM did not know where I was, or how I operate, which is consistantly the same, every 2 months that I go on tour, for the past 3 years. Frankly, it appears to me that someone is using something pretty powerful, and quite likely, something illegal !

This incident was so bazzar, demeaning, unprofessional, and completely from out of left field, that I was completely amazed at what I was hearing, and reading over another 3 e-mails. I took the time to reflect on the proccedings, and could only come up with the following reason for their behavior : the powers to be at BM have fallen into the same trap as E2K, which is a PIMP mentality, they want to have the power, the intimidation, and try to control the girls, this was E2K's downfall, doesn't anyone learn, from others mistakes ? The girls have all of the power, because we have the p---y !

Unfortunately, this type of behavior by an agency, with a girl who is new, or with a girl who is insecure, can lead to personal problems, and into non productive private meetings. I could see how this could effect a girls performance. Unfortunately for BM, I don't fall into that catagory, I am strong and secure within myself. Suffice to say, there little mind game did not work with me, I have spoken to a few girls about this, and a few of my regulars. They all felt, as I do, that this PIMP mentality needs to addressed, and stopped. They all encouraged me to post the above. This is a tuff enough business , on the girls. We are publically judged and reviewed, on our appearenance, performance, and our ATTITUDE. It is much more difficult for girls such as myself, who are idependant. We handle our own bookings, verifications, hotel and airline. None of us need this type of crap, thrown at us while on tour. Not only am I upset over this, but I am completely OUTRAGED.

Friday night was the Meet and Greet for the convention. As a presenter, I had to be there and got to see everyone on the staff, as well as all the workshop folks. Sunday, I gave my fellatio workshop, and even more people showed up than they did for the cunnilingus one.

Scott Fayner Remembers Chloe Jones

He writes on l-keford.com:

I was outside in the alley smoking a butt when Chloe Jones came through the door in the same manner a child who'd just spun around in circles for ten minutes would, only Chloe had that hollow glass-eyed stare your junkie uncle has when he comes over for Christmas dinner with presents wrapped in newspaper and taped with band-aids.

"How's it hangin'?" I asked.

"Huh?" Chloe answered.

"How's it hangin'?" I asked again.

"Huh?" Chloe answered again.

"Somebody needs another xanax," I suggested, "and it's not me."

"What's a xanax," Chloe replied.

"It's that white pill you've been gulping all day," I shot back.

"Huh?" Chloe again asked.

"Exactly" was all I could muster.

Just then, Chloe was summoned to the stage for her girl-girl scene with Jenna Jameson...

Who Is Louis Depaz?

A party promoter, he sponsored the StripDown magazine party last week. He is getting pushy with a female photographer about coming over to her apartment to pick up photos from the party.

Psycho writes: "He's a nobody Wast LA party promoter who has been trying desperately to get into the porn circles over the past few years. How he managed to get Tera and Evan involved in his lame party boggles my mind. Notice how Tera was the only real Star there? This guy is a complete jerk. Gene Ross: 'An American Female Performer' Caught Up In Budapest's HIV Shutdown

More to come.

An HIV Positive In Budapest Halts Production

RAM writes on GFY:

Thats right just found out today all shooting here in Budapest Hungary has been placed on HOLD for the next 30 days or so. Reason a test came back to the Lab Positive for HIV - No it's not me but yes I'm running to the lab first thing in the moring for a test - Looks like I may have a sleepless night or two waiting for results.

Last week I was in Romania so I didn't hear about it until Saturday. Then today I was trying to book 4 shoots here in Budapest and then was informed from agent and others of the no shooting. Now the last test I took was on July 21 st...so you can understand being a little freaked out.

MrNo from Budapest writes:

One guy got HIV from "private gay" sex, the problem is that several productions use guys who are gays in straight shootings. But again, everything is under control. The guy is tested positive Monday, August 1. All serious production stopped to work [at 1pm] when we got call from clinic about this test, after that serious productions only shooted real couples... and solo shootings of course.

Quarantine is 3+3 weeks. List has 21 name, 10 in first and 11 in 2nd circle. Today was been first set of "zero tests," in three weeks from today will be second...

Remove all gay and bi male models from straight shootings and you will make porn safe. Period.

Why No Public Release Of Chloe Jones's Autopsy?

She died June 4. I'm thinking that the only reason the autopsy could be so long delayed is not that it has not been completed, but because there are criminal charges that are going to be filed.

Who’s more hard-core? Ian MacKaye or…Eon McKai?

From Washington City Paper:

His first film, Art School Sluts, has been one of the strongest sellers of the past year for the Hustler-owned VCA Pictures. He recently shot a not-suitable-for-airplay video for major-label glam revivalists Louis XIV. The New York Times has described him as one of the “signs that alt-porn as a genre has some traction.”

His name is Eon McKai. Yes, indie kids, an adult-film director in Los Angeles has named himself after Washington’s favorite punk-rock son. And yes, Ian MacKaye knows. “One of my friends in L.A. saw a sticker in a bathroom that had ‘EonMcKai.com’ on it and she e-mailed me about it,” says the 43-year-old Minor Threat and Fugazi veteran. “About a day or so later, I received a frantic e-mail from her saying, ‘Don’t go there. It’s porn.’?” And after getting over the initial surprise, MacKaye has come to terms with the existence of his porn-industry counterpart: “It’s strange, but nothing to lose sleep over,” he says. “I figured it was just somebody trying to be funny.”

Perhaps the funniest thing about the situation, however, is that, when McKai chose his nom de porn, he wasn’t trying to be amusing at all...

Aly Drummond Reacts To NBC Dateline's Spam Report:

Hi darling. I just got back to town from Internext and haven't seen it yet. Apparently I don't look ten pounds heavier on film, so I'm not too concerned about it.

Flashman's Gossip Corner Of The World

Flashman calls July 28:

It's the final day of VSDA. Several people mentioned your name and said they'd seen me on your site quite a bit a long time ago and a little bit [a short time ago].

Ron Jeremy, 53, has colored his hair -- a nice dark-brown color. He says he's lost 15-pounds. He showed me pictures in his suite of the Farm, the big London [reality show] he did.

The entire 27th floor was adult. The 28th floor was mainstream. The corridors were jammed with photographers.

Poor Buck Adams. He failed to register. He couldn't get a badge. I saw him at the pool and sitting in the lobby looking sad.

Wankus, in LA, babysat Ashton Moore's (best friends with Tyler Faith) littlest child while she was in Vegas for the VSDA.

The next convention starts August 26th at Mandalay Bay. Exotic Dancer. Most of the top girls in porn will appear at the show.

Hooper: 'I had security escort my date out last night'

He writes on JBM:

Possibly the date from hell... good dinner and drinks.... she turned out to be quite a lush. Let's see, the three events that stand out in my mind are:

1) Grabbing Derek Jeeter's ass
2) Hitting on my friend's girlfriend.
3) Asking my other friend to f--- her in the bathroom so she could tell another friend about it.

We all got pretty wasted, apparently I walked up to jeeter and told him he could have her because he must be used to crazy bitches and that she would probably blow him for a pair of tix to today's game.

I met her through a friend, we've talked for weeks on the phone... kept thinking of the music from the movie Psycho.

The night ended for her with us telling security that she was no longer allowed at our table and that she might be better off outside.

Melissa Lauren's Bad Meatholes Experience

She replies to me:

I never did Meatholes. Well, let's say I did one but off-camera. I wouldn't use the word horrible. Intense and interesting. I learned a lot about myself afterwards, like I shouldn't drink so much.

.XXX Could Block Your .Com

Brandon Shalton writes on GFY:

At the lunch discussion time after the .XXX panel (which Tom and Connor were on fire with their great points), i asked the opening question: Many websites are run on virtual hosts, where one IP is used by multiple domains. If an ISP, firewall, proxy, etc does a reverse lookup on the .XXX domain and blocks by IP, wouldn't it also block the .COM as well (since it was on the same IP)? The eventual answer from Jason Hendeles was that it is true that if someone was blocking by IP, that all the domains (ie. .COM) would also be blocked. So for those thinking of purchasing a .XXX domain, and parking/pointing it to your .COM, your .COM can be blocked. So if you are going to get .XXX domain(s), put it on a different vhost/IP.

Teksonline writes:

The use of any adult content must be put on a IP Range specified for adult sites, such as 12.xx.xx.xx as an example but do this using the new IPv6 protocol which will have enuff ip's to handle today and the next 250 years now you have to give out more ip's to ISP's etc, but they will be all on a certain subnet, easily filtered by anyone who cares, TLD's can remain the same it wont matter.

The Girls Next Door

I was stunned at how honest the girls were about their feelings, especially Holly and Bridget. I felt sorry for Bridget, she's hanging around sucking this old man's dick and he won't even put her in the magazine as a Playmate, even though he's given previous girlfriends the honor, even the very undeserving Katie Lohmann (her Playmate photos are the ugliest I've ever seen, her face looks angular and hard in them even after all the tremendous Playboy airbrushing.)

Did I mention that Katie was in Hustler before being in Playboy? Normally, if girls have posed nude in another magazine before Playboy, they do not become Playmates (but they can still appear in Special Editions, other Playboy stuff), because Playboy wants Playmate centerfolds to be property of the company exclusively (hence, the two year no non Playboy nudity contract every Playmate centerfold has to sign once they receive the honor). But, in Katie's case, he made an exception and she became a Playmate. Tina Jordan is another one of his girlfriend who wasn't really Playmate material (too old and hard looking in my opinion, not to mention her massive overbite), but she was caught badgering Hef from one room to another about when her centerfold layout was going to run during the Vanity Fair interview for the story about Hef and his girlfriends. The interviewer described her as 'wanting an answer and not being satisfied till she got one'. Here's some of the photos from Tina's Playmate layout. She also went on Howard Stern and bragged that she got $5,000 a month for being Hef's girlfriend (during her time in the posse, she was Hef's #1 girlfriend, the position that Holly Madison now occupies) and that they often had anal sex.

The Bentley twins have been forgiven by Hef. That was obvious when they were photographed at a mansion party last year.

Ray Richmond writes in the Hollywood Reporter:

What's potentially most interesting here is what isn't shown or discussed -- namely, what their true physical relationship is with Hefner and whether this really is the big happy family they all claim it to be. Chinks already are showing in the armor by the end of the opener when Holly, who is Hefner's acknowledged No. 1, admits, "Well, I'm a people person, so I like having Bridget and Kendra around, but I'd rather have Hef to myself." There isn't much outward affection seen on camera between the women and Hefner, as if he's most interested in the women as Barbie doll-resembling trophies than anything akin to true mates. If that's the reality of mansion life, then give us back the fantasy, please.

Air Supply Rocks

I spent Sunday in San Diego and caught Firefall and Air Supply at Humphreys on the San Diego bay.

The crowd's average age was about 45 and there was an equal ratio of men to women. The place was 70% full for Firefall (went on at 7:05pm) and 100% full for Air Supply (went on at 8:30m and played until 10:20pm).

"I always wondered what kind of people go to concerts at Humphreys," says Kevin Blatt. "Now I know."

I call him Monday afternoon.

KB: "You're the only person I know who'd go see Air Supply."

Luke: "The place was packed. People were going crazy."

KB: "I bet you didn't smell one person burning a joint anywhere at an Air Supply concert."

Luke: "Of course not. It was awesome."

KB: "You drove back the same night?"

Luke: "Yeah."

KB: "That's a long day."

Luke: "Air Supply was great. Girls were going wild, waving their hands up in the air."

KB is in San Francisco with Evan Horowitz of Xpays.com. They're driving around in Sausalito trying to find a hotel.

KB turns to Evan. "This is Lurk Ford. He goes, 'Girls were going wild and waving their hands in the air to Air Supply.'"

Luke: "It was the most fun I've had. Let's keep talking about Air Supply. These guys were jumping around on the stage. Graham Russell, the tall blonde guy, was jumping up and down making fancy moves with his guitar. Russell Hitchcock was grabbing his mic stand and twirling it in the air and around the stage. [Not bad for a couple of geezers in their mid-50s]. For one of their songs, they came down and walked around the audience while they sang. Everyone was touching them and crying."

Evan screams out: "New celebrity sex tape. Shalom Aleichem."

KB: "You should be singing, Die Die Dayenu. Die Die Lurk Ford.

"I spent the weekend shacked up [with Ria Lynn, his 20-year old girlfriend]."

Luke: "What's the scoop?"

KB: "I heard everybody hated the AVN show. Did you see the Python toilet paper? They had rolls of Python toilet paper in everybody's room."

Luke: "When's Evan releasing news of his new celebrity sex tape?"

KB: "Within the next two weeks. You'll love it. It's all encoded. The member's area is done.

"[Ria] is staying in my house. [They met at a party July 14.] I've got to get back."

Luke: "When was the last time you let a woman stay at your house?"

KB: "Never. You have to admit she is hot. Too hot for me."

Luke: "How's Evan's marriage?"

KB: "It's a little shaky. Rosie Palms ain't working out for him. She's not Jewish."

Ahmad from Baghdad writes me:

hi pal i found your blog accidantly ,its amazing how two different people can have such similarties in their thinking. i am a devoted air supply fan who lives in the other side of the world , in the most dangerous place to live in: baghdad. am an iraqi gemini and a writer too althogh my official job is a dentist.i liked your blog and i have to admit that air supply meant a lot to me as teen ager, they guided my steps through maturation thanks a lot pal for your creative thoghts.

I sat next to Air Supply publicist Guy McCain Sunday night.

From Flashnews.com:

AIR SUPPLY SUPPLYING FANS WITH DATES FOR 30 YEARS RUNNING LOS ANGELES

(Wireless Flash) -- If you're looking for a hot summer romance, don't go to the internet, check out an Air Supply concert. That's the word from the soft rock group's lead singer, Russell Hitchcock, who says he's astounded by how many couples tell him they met at an Air Supply show.

Considering the band is now celebrating its 30th anniversary, that's a lot of couples; especially because women make up the majority of the audience.

Hitchcock figures the reason is simple: "The content of the songs draws people in a romantic frame of mind -- softies."

There must be a lot more softies these days because Hitchcock and his partner, Graham Russell, are attracting a wider audience to shows than in recent years. In fact, Hitchcock recently met a Hell's Angel who told him, "My wife and I got married to `Every Woman In The World.'" Hitchcock's response: "Thanks. Would you like my wallet as well?"

Folks who are "All Out Of Love" will have a chance to up their Air Supply because the band just released a new CD-DVD, "It Was 30 Years Ago Today."

British Spanking Porn

Spanking is a major fetish in England. The country has produced hundreds of sexually-oriented black-and-white spanking films. Why were they shot in black-and-white? Because if you could see a red bottom, the person delivering the spanking could be convicted of inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm (a crime in America known as "Assault").

Gina Austin Interview

She's the September Penthouse Pet and is heading for Los Angeles in the next few months to pursue hardcore.

I call her at home in Ohio Monday morning.

Gina, 22, says that when she was a kid, she wanted to be a veterinarian.

Duke: "What did your parents expect from you?"

Gina: "They didn't expect anything. They just wanted me to be happy. They never pushed for college. They trusted my judgment."

Duke: "What crowd did you hang out with in highschool?"

Gina: "Not the cheerleaders. The bad girl group. We were always drinking and cutting class and livened it up."

Duke: "Did you get suspended?"

Gina: "All the time. It was a good way to get out of school. I was bored with school. If I wanted to ace a test, I did."

After highschool, Gina got her real estate license and worked in property management (apartment complexes, leasing, rentals).

Duke: "How did you end up in Penthouse?"

Gina: "I was stuck in a rut. I looked at different magazines online. I saw on Penthouse.com, 'Do you want to be a Penthouse Pet?' It took me to the Penthousemodels.com website. I just uploaded home-taken pictures and they got back to me in three days."

Duke: "How has it affected your life to be in Penthouse?"

Gina: "It's great. Four months ago, my life was totally different. It's opened up so many opportunities, to explore the whole modeling career, to do more hardcore stuff. The nice thing about Penthouse is that they have so many different avenues, everything from fantasy softcore to fetish hardcore."

Duke: "What do you like about [nude] modeling?"

Gina: "Traveling. Doing different things. I get bored easily."

Duke: "How have family and friends reacted?"

Gina: "Very positively. I was nervous about what my parents were going to think, but they were very supportive. They didn't look at the centerfold or the pictures inside it. They looked at the cover. 'Oh, that's very nice.' They will always support me in whatever I do."

Gina lost her virginity at 15. "I've always had a long-term boyfriend, but in between, I get around. It's the whole rebound thing. I have my little slut phase in between boyfriends."

Duke: "Was any part of your motivation for this revenge on an ex-boyfriend?"

Gina: "No. Not really. When I got a couple of advance copies of the magazines, I did put one in my ex's mailbox. That was about it. That was as far as I went with revenge. It wasn't a bad break-up. It was, 'Here, this is what I'm doing.' It wasn't really revenge. It was just rubbing it in a little."

Duke: "What type of men are you attracted to?"

Gina: "They have to be built. I've got to know that they can handle me. I liked to be played with rough."

Duke: "How has appearing in Penthouse affected your dating life?"

Gina: "A lot of the guys I talk to are intimidated by it. I'm sure there are people out there who are cool with it."

Duke: "Has there been any movie or book that has most influenced you?"

Gina: "Honestly, I haven't read that much since highschool. Moviewise, I like true stories, like war stories, such as Saving Private Ryan."

Internext, Who Was There?

Dateline tracks down a porn spammer

But when we go back to our computer we find there’s another Toronto company affiliated with "Spunkfarm." This one is called “Python,” and there’s even an address. [Python and Spunkfarm are owned by David van der Poel.]

We're at Toronto’s Internet porn district. The man takes us around back to the freight elevator and gives an idea what goes on inside this building. There are more companies that seem to see porn within the building.

Brad Shaw writes: "Python made tens of millions off of spam, they were anything but antispam. Who knows these days, as the game is pretty much over.:

Gopsycho writes on GFY:

I thought that whole story was hilarious. The way they made it seem like they Aly [Drummond] "admitting" that python owned spunkfarm was something he tricked her into saying...when it is common knowlege that they owned the site..and it never contained any beastiality. The only thing that actually troubled me about it was that python actually gave out the info of one of there webmasters to the media! My heart jumped for a second. I remeber doing some mailing to dollarmachine a few years ago. I can't believe they just gave out the guys name and contact info without a court order or anything!

Porn Star's Real Names

Janine writes on ADT: "I used Janine Lindemulder (my real name) for my Dec. '87 Penthouse centerfold hoping it would piss off my pop."

And did it? "For about a week. He got over it. He's cool. I love him."

Internext Report

Jay writes on JBM:

I walked through the whole show floor at the Internext in 2 minutes flat, did not see any thing where I went “wow”, it’s the same old same old. Well their were few people selling 2257 compliance software. All the stats are saying the amount of money that is spent on online porn is going up so cant figure out where those money is going?

Hugh Hefner's Girlfriends

About Hugh Hefner's girlfriends, he dumped all but three last summer. The ones that were let go last year were Sheila Levell, Lana Kinnear, Cristal Camden (although she did accompany Hef and current girlfriends to this year's Super Bowl activities in Florida) and Zoe Gregory Paul. After Holly Madison, Zoe had been there the second longest. Holly joined the girlfriend group towards the end of 2001. Sandee Westgate was also briefly a part of the girlfriend posse but didn't last too long.

I've been told that being in the group was similar to a beauty version of Survivor. Think sabotage like Nair in your shampoo or nasty rumors being spread. Zoe was always on Hef's right for photos and even when sitting; I saw her hustle Bridget Marquardt out of the seat to Hef's right during the Playboy special that ran on A&E last summer. Bridget looked taken aback, but Zoe had an arrogant self-satisfied smile on her face after it was done. Bridget was a cyber girl of the week. Cristal was on the Playboy Xtreme team, but never made it into any Playboy publications or even the website. Zoe was in numerous Playboy Special Editions.

Lana Kinnear and Sheila Levell were both cyber girls of the week. Holly was a cyber girl of the week, but her layout was pulled two days after it was posted because she was up for a Hollywood movie role and having publicly done nudity would have affected her chances of getting the role. Holly used to post on the Playboy message boards and so did Bridget, but they've stopped.

Here are Hefner's other girlfriends:

Tiffany Holliday (Playboy Cyber Girl of the Week)
Stacy Burke (appeared in a Special Edition, I think)
Renee Sloan (owns and designs a lingerie line)
Christie Shake (Miss May 2000)
Charis Boyle (Miss February 2003 - supposedly comes from a very wealthy East coast family with Washington ties)
Katie Lohmann (Miss February 2002 ?)
Stephanie Heinrich (first ever cyber girl and Miss October 2001)
Bentley Twins (Playboy cover girls)
Brande Roderick (Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year)
Jessica Paisley (reviled on a popular Playboy mailing list as Hef's only girlfriend that no amount of plastic surgery could turn into a Playmate)
Buffy Tyler (who said on Howard Stern that she was asked to leave the mansion for disobeying Hef - Miss November 2000, I have seen footage from that era of her and Hef and she seemed a special favorite)
Tina Jordan (lived at the mansion with her kid and Hef paid for the nanny - Miss March 2002)
Teri Harrison (Miss October 2002 and the last Playmate to have the cover of her centerfold issue)

The girls get $1,000 a week, free room and board, free maid service, free dry cleaning, free healthcare, and a shopping allowance. They have a strict curfew and if they are not back on time, they are locked out of the mansion. The girls are expected to spend holidays with Hef. There are planned outings every week and the girls have to attend. Every Thursday and Saturday night, the gang goes out on the town (Hef has to approve of their outfits before they leave the mansion.) and the girls either come back drunk or high on Esctacy.

Once home, they either have to have sex with Hef or with each other (even if they aren't attracted to each other). Finally, they can't have other boyfriends besides Hef.

You won't see any more girlfriends as Playmates (according to Holly Madison on the Playboy message boards), because Hef didn't like the way that the ones who had the honor bestowed upon them discarded him immediately after their centerfolds ran. Allegedly, Brande Roderick was promised 2001 Playmate of the Year even before it was announced that she'd be a Playmate. It has often been rumored most frequently that Shannon Stewart won the Playmate of the Year vote that year, with Brooke Berry in second place; Brande was much further behind, not even in the top five for the honor. Jillian Grace, Miss March 2005, was gifted her title as part of a publicity deal that Playboy made with the Howard Stern Show.

There was nothing accidental about Howard 'discovering' Jillian Grace and her becoming a Playmate. It was revealed on the Playboy boards by Miss October 2003, Audra Lynn (I've also heard that she was promised a Playmate spot shortly after she was discovered by Playboy scouts).

I don't like the idea of the Playboy reality show. Its not a good idea to allow daylight in upon magic. They need to maintain the Playboy mystique because that is a big part of the brand.

Internext Report

A friend phones. He's mad at AVN. "People are pretty pissed off. They can't get in their rooms. They had to get their badges first. They sold advertising over every single area, from the elevators to the menus. Nothing but newbies at the show. Everybody's by the pool. I talked to three people today who told me the same thing. A couple of people were just partying in South Beach."

Tricia Oaks Interview

I met her on Rob Spallone's set December 29, 2005:

Tricia Oaks, from Thousand Oaks, has been in porn a month.

How many movies?

She counts with her fingers and stops at five.

She's going golfing in the friends. "My friends and I like to do weird things."

How did you get into this?

"From a friend in NA."

Tricia explains to Bill that NA stands for Narcotics Anonymous.

Tricia says she used to stick heroin needles into her arm at 15.

Bill's amazed.

Tricia jokes that she's graduated NA. "I don't use drugs now. That's how my uncle died."

Bill: "So you kept up the tradition?"

Tricia: "I had to. A sign of respect."

We talk about her past scenes.

Tricia: "T.T. Boy tried to get most of his money. I didn't work with him. I worked with his cousin Jacob. He's the first director I worked with."

Tricia's happy with the photos Bill took. "I usually cringe at my photos."

I talk to her again Thursday night, August 4, 2005.

She speaks in a drawl. "I wanted to be a veterinarian [when she was a kid]. I like animals a lot. Or a Zoologist (she pronounces it ZOO-ologist instead of ZO-ologist)."

She lost her virginity at 15.

Duke: "Were you a good student in highschool?"

Tricia: "Not necessarily. I read a lot but I wasn't a good homework person."

Duke: "You got into trouble?"

Tricia: "A little bit. Normal teenage things."

Duke: "What did you get into trouble for?"

Tricia: "Running away from my parents."

Tricia says she went to college for a couple of months but didn't like it.

Duke: "What do you love and hate about the industry?"

Tricia: "There's nothing I hate about it. It's easy money. I like the people though I still don't feel like I fit in yet. I have a lot of conservative feelings. I was raised Catholic. I get nervous about my sexual side.

"[Porn] is boring. There's nothing I love or hate about it."

Duke: "Any highlights or lowlights in your career?"

Tricia: "Highlights. Seeing my picture out there. It's kinda funny and weird. I Google my name. People recognizing me is one of the highlights."

Tricia is launching TriciaOaks.com. "I'm going to do it my own style, kinda reality based. It won't be just sex. It'll have humor. It'll be something different from the average porn girl's website. I'll do all the different fetishes."

Tricia told her mom that she did nude modeling and that was all her mom could handle. She told her dad she does porn but he's in denial, and asks her how the job search is going.

Erik Everhard Responds To Corina Taylor's Rape Accusations

Revisiting what we were talking about a year ago. I don't believe footage of the scene in question was ever posted.

Erik writes 8/6/04 on ADT:

First and foremost this girl was not anally raped or whatever people out there are saying, second she agreed to do the anal for a discussed price that made her comfortable and was much above her boy/girl rate. Me and corina had no problems at any point during the shoot and at NO time did she complain about the anal, nor did she say she was in pain, nor did she tell me she wished to stop.Had corina said one of the above we would have discontinued the anal and continued with a normal vag scene.

As the scene progressed with the vag, I started playing with her ass,she said that she didn't do anal and vince asked her if she was willing to try, they negotiated a price that made her feel comfortable and she didn't want anyone telling her agent because then he would have gotten more of her money,we said fine. We shot the anal, the scene was great, she was pleasant, and only later that night when she felt that her ass was sore did she start MAKING UP this big story and sending accusations about.

For those individuals who are not convinced, first watch the scene instead of lending discussion to things that you have not viewed yet, and if you are still not convinced i'll see if i can put up the raw footage from the shoot,we shot everything and have the entire discussion of if she wanted to try the anal and the whole price negotiation and everything. Those that would like to see the footage are free to contact me at erikeverhard@erikeverhard.com, i am fully willing to back up everything that i have written and consider this discussion closed.

Mutt posts:

I've talked to Corina - she seems very sweet. she also is the type of girl who should not be in the XXX industry - she's in it for the wrong reasons. the sad part of the hardcore porn biz is that there aren't enough girls who are in it for the right reasons, so to meet the demand the gonzo companies/agents have for girls who do DP, throat f---ing, DAPs etc they need to pressure girls like Corina to 'get with the program'. I have no idea what happened on that set - I do believe Corina believes what happened did happen to her - but Eric's tape could tell a different story.

Vince Vouyer posts:

Vince Vouyer here! I have been hearing some nasty rumors about Erik Everhard & myself! I do not normally like to reply to non sense on the internet however this Fairy tail needs to be put to rest once & for all! Corina (I am a few cans short of a six pack)Taylor, is quite the story teller! After I first heard of these bull s--- allegations of her being forced to do anal, Corina came to my office to be paid for the anal scene that she did actually do (WILLINGLY)! In Cum Drippers #6. While corina was in my office I then took the liberty to show her the video footage of us making the deal to do the anal while on the set of cum drippers #6, believe me she had nothing else to say!

So what I am going to do is put this footage on the internet on late monday or tuesday so all you bleeding hearts out there can see & hear for yourself what really happened!

One last note on the subject! I was forwarned on the behavior of corrina taylor about her being crazy and a story teller , this information came by way of her last agent who is very well known throughout the adult industry! This is why I videotaped the whole day! I hope that all you bleeding hearts that have been dragging my name thru the mud have actually watched the dvd!

Corina posts:

When you go on a shoot for a bunch of assholes and they force you into things you are not supposed to be doing and then they blackmail you...a girl just got gangbang raped by the same company who raped me up the ass when i did not even do anal sex.........so it is a lot harder than any of you people think...alll you hear or see is the glamour side ........ive also gone to the doctor with my throat bleeding from getting throat banged to the point it ripped a hole in the back of my throat but you know what b/c im not a f---ing crybaby i finished the scene with a puddle of blood coming out of my throat in the floor in front of me then i went to the doctor............so yes it is a very hard business.....i know a girl who got ass raped and she had blood running down to her f---ing ankles but this is the s--- no one ever hears about ............only about the money and the movies not what really can happen.
