Can Tube Sites Be Done The Right Way?

I met this woman who was as absolutely nice as could. She was a freelancer for one of those websites and her profile picture was of her and her husband sitting in a field of flowers. They were just oh so lovely. They were a young good looking couple that reminded me of one of those Christian mingle ads you see on TV. She’s a high school English teacher, he’s an Engineer. On the surface they seemed so perfect and normal and all the while in her spare time she’s writing this down and dirty, super hardcore sex stories. I mean some really dirty shit like fuck me from behind, make me like it when I slam my cock in your ass, choke the bitch out kind of stories.

Yes, little miss prim and proper is a very naughty girl behind closed doors.

She writes about stuff that we in the adult industry could never in a million years get away with portraying on film without the fear of spending a lot of time in jail.

What this reminded me is that looks can be deceiving.

A few months ago on XBIZ someone made mention of how well they were doing with tube traffic conversions. They talked briefly about what they were doing and everyone, including myself poo poo’d what they were saying.

The one thing we’ve all learned over the past few years is that tube traffic is worthless shit. I mean it’s a known fact by now. Right? But what if we are all wrong? What if there is some value in it after all? What if that one guy was right? What if he really was making some decent conversions in how he was doing it?

Looks can after all be deceiving.

So I decided to do a little more research on the subject. I’ve done it in the past, and I’ve had friends who have done it before but hell, if this guy is swearing up and down it’s working for him, maybe it’s worth giving this tube traffic a second look. Maybe things have changed.

I tried a handful of different tube sites. Most of which were the traditional user uploaded type sites. One in particular I tried was LubeTube.com, which didn’t offer user uploaded submissions, meaning they had 100% control over the content, and that also meant they were 100% legal. They also have a mobile version of their site, which is mobile.lubetube.com.

Now here is what I found interesting. Like the illegal tube sites that companies, they offer free videos, so the surfers love it. But unlike the stolen video sites, this site only posts one they have the rights to post.

Imagine that … a website that gives users what they wanted, free porn, while at the same time, controlling the content to make sure his site was legit and legal. Love it.

I know my original purpose of the story was to test out the value of tube traffic but I got so caught up in the whole concept of a legal tube site with almost 50,000 video clips – LEGAL ONES, not user uploaded, I just got far too distracted.

How can one site do it, but another can’t?

On those bigger tube sites, that allow users to upload content, users come to see free porn. Right? On this legal tube site, users come to see free porn. Both sites offer users just that, free video clips for the people visiting their sites to watch. Only the difference is, the other kind (the big boys of tubes) allow people to illegally upload content they don’t have the right to, while this other site does it the right way. In the end both sites offer the same thing —- web surfers getting free porn, one legally, one not so much.

So in the end, one does it the right one, one is a piece of shit, who keeps claiming it can’t be done or it will “ruin us”.

Anyway, I just wanted to say it’s nice to see a site like Lube Tube doing it the right way and not stealing content from us, so that they can supply free porn clips to their surfers.
