VIENNA — Manwin and Reality Kings’ parent company have filed a merger notification with Austria’s Federal Competition Authority, an agency that probes mergers and acquisitions.
The planned acquisition involves "essential parts" of Miami-based RK Netmedia Inc., "as well as some of the subsidiaries," according to the authority in a posting.
The merger notification between Manwin and RK Netmedia was made April 16.
"Every entrepreneur, whose legal or economic interests may be affected by the merger, may within 14 days (April 30) from the date of the notice … submit a written statement," the authority said.
The agency plans to end its investigation of Manwin’s planned Reality Kings acquisition on May 14.
Officials at Manwin and Reality Kings did not immediately respond to XBIZ for comment after hours.

I wonder what their ulterior plan is in buying up all the porn companies? Especially in light of how the money is shrinking in porn.
Good question Karmafan. I wonder this too and I suspect a lot of others do too. Obviously buying up porn companies will provide them with a legitimate (non-copyright-infringing) source of new content for all their tube sites. But what their ultimate vision is I don’t know.
Most people think that they engineered the demise of porn with the tubesites that they own. In doing so they saw an opportunity to buy up porn companies at bargain prices so they began with the high end, Playboy TV, Twistys, Wicked, Digital Playground. They for sure tried to buy Vivid and they made a play for new frontier media. Had they been successful they would have controlled the PPV and Cable porn markets lock stock and barrel.
They would have owned Wicked, Vivid, DP, Playboy and TEN so they would have controlled it from production to the distribution.
As it is they are in a very strong position that gets stronger daily.
The big question is where they got the 9 figures that Fabian claims they have to spend buying companies.
It saddens me that porners are clueless to what is being perpetrated on them, they line up to kiss Fabians ass in hopes of getting a few scraps.
You can’t expect people to look at the big picture when there’s tits, asses, cunts and/or cocks in their faces!
