Its funny you mention this because 2 weeks ago I had a checkup and my magnesium level was extremely low and the doc put me on mag-oxide to bring my levels up and he wants to see me in 2 months for a recheck.
He said sometimes after a certain point you (middle aged person) lose minerals and should replace them with diet or suppliments. Potasium can be replenished by eating bananas (among other foods) and magnesium can be found in quite a few foods (including many kinds of nuts or whole grain foods) and I’m over 40 years old.
He also asked me if I was sleeping ok at night and I found it weird he asked that because I didn’t tell him I was having a problem. I thought maybe I was drinking too much coffee and I switched to 50% regular and 50% decafe (both Maxwell House and Folgers make a 50/50 variety).
I don’t know. I want to see what the toxicology report comes up with. I’d say the most likely cause of Sledge’s insane outbursts was suicidal tendencies exacerbated by heavy use of illegal drugs.
