ARRESTED! Porn Star Escorting Gets Stuck in Jail- First Hand Experience

A Warning to ALL Porn Girls Who Escort!!!

Due to the nature of this article, I’d prefer to remain anonymous (plus many people can be judgmental, especially you LIB sharks that have nothing better to do but sit there sharpening your knives ready to cut anyone up because you’re bored. Get a life!).  Although, I do believe this is a serious matter that needs to be addressed.

In a perfect world, all the performers of the adult industry would be making money doing what they love to do.  But since free websites and pirated porn flicks have affected our industry, we do what we can to make ends meet.  I would honestly say a good 80-90% of the ladies of our industry escort. I’ve seen all the websites, I know. So please read this!!

Just like everyone else, I was struggling in this economy.

Sometimes I would shoot like crazy, sometimes I’d have a dry spell.  It’s just the nature of the business.  So a company contacted me last fall about escorting possibilities.

They would pay for my airfare and hotel, advertise for me, and I would just show up and wait for the business to start rolling in.  Things were going really well for awhile.  I started making mad money and finally getting myself out of a financial hole.  I started paying off credit cards left and right, and I had money to do whatever I wanted.  It was great.

This went on for months.  I’d go on tour, come back home and have a nice cushion of cash in case work was slow.  Some girls prefer to escort because the money was good.  I like shooting scenes, it’s where my true heart is.  When I escorted, I found myself spending time with someone I REALLY didn’t want to spend time with.  There were times during appointments, I’d let my mind wander as I thought about all the things I’d do with the money.

Recently, I talked another porn girl to start working because she was complaining about how broke she was.  I was on tour, and she was in the same town as myself for a few days.  She and I had entered the business together, but then quit to move back home and go to school.  I told her that if she came out and worked for a bit, she’d have a nice cushion of cash to live on while she went to school.

The term for escorts is "providers" and for customers is "hobbyists".  There’s a whole society of social networking sites that deal with this kind of work.  It’s usually paid by the hour, and the amount of money you pay, or get paid depends on the amount of time you spend.  Many people indulge in this kind of "hobby", from housewives just looking to make ends meet, to ladies who are employed and looking to make extra money on the side, to porn girls who like to use their celebrity status to really rake it in.  The men are just your average guy looking for a little fun, something their wives are not providing for them.  But also I’ve had couples hire me to enhance their own sexual relationship.  Those were my favorite.
So here my friend and I were, reuniting after not seeing each other for a few years, and a man booked us together. The appointment was made through my agency which supposedly had an intense screening process.

The man who booked the appointment frequented one of the networking websites and had a Platinum status, which meant he spent money into the networking website.   He made a special request for schoolgirl outfits, which my friend and I purchased before the appointment.  We raced downtown, walked around frantically trying to find the room number, and I knocked on the door.  Little did I know, that knock was going to change my life.

A man answered the door, handsome, stocky, shaved head, named "Chuck". We talked about traffic, parking, and that he was going to the meet and greet party later that was sponsored by the networking website.  So my friend and I changed into our outfits, then I clapped my hands and said, "Great, let’s get this party started." Before we did anything, he took pictures of us with my camera, then excused himself to go to the bathroom.
All of a sudden, about 10 people burst out of the other room, flashed a badge in my face, and told us to place our hands on our heads while they read us our rights. It was like something out of a movie. My friend and I just sat there while they went thru all our personal possessions. After confiscating my cell phone, notepad, calendar, condoms (what few I did have in my purse), lube, and about $1000 cash, they sent us downstairs, we got in a car, and was taken to the station.

It all happened so fast, and we never thought we’d be in custody as long as we were. They strip you of everything except the clothes off your back. As soon as someone is arrested, you fall off the face of the earth with no way to get ahold of anyone. Imagine if you had kids waiting for you at home, or a pet you can’t get to feed.
After they took down information, they locked us in a jail cell with bars and everything. I kept apologizing to her for getting her into this mess. At this point she was surprisingly calm and still smiling. I was scared, but didn’t cry and tried to remain calm. I tried to teach my friend how to pray. I also sang and did yoga to pass the time. We had long talks as we tried to replay the incident in our heads. The next day, Wednesday, things seemed to progress. We were brought in by the detective that arrested us in the first place.    They made it seem like if we cooperated, we would be given a break. That was a lie. I tried to be as honest as I could within reason. I look back now, I should’ve asked for a lawyer. I even tried to be charming and making jokes to appeal to his good side…still didn’t work.

That night, my friend and I were separated and I went to another holding cell close to the courtroom. I was in there with 2 strangers named Dawn and Jasmine. The room was almost completely enclosed except for a small window looking into the hallway. It was the first time in my life I felt claustrophobic. It was cold, and the last couple days we couldn’t see the light of day so we had no concept of time. Most inmates sleep nonstop to help the time pass. This is when I looked up and thought, "God, why have you forsaken me?" It was one of the lowest moments of my life.

The next day, Thursday, was our court day. I woke up freezing in a cold sweat. Jasmine was freezing, so I put my hoodie over her cold shoulders until she warmed up. They took us out and lined us up to go into the courtroom. One by one, each of us went up, stated the case, then a bond was set. If you pay 10% of the bond, you get out. Easy, right? Hell no!!! My heart was beating out of my chest. My bond was set very high because we were from out of town and a flight risk. I requested a personal bond (which means you pay nothing) but was denied. The exactly same thing happened to my friend. We briefly went back to the holding cell, and was almost immediately lined up again and put into a police wagon and shipped off to a place they called, "the workhouse". By now everyone was wondering what my friend and I were doing there. At the workhouse, we each had to be processed again, put all our clothes into a box, and changed into blue scrubs. We were given a wool blanket, sheet, towel, washcloth, and orange socks. We each were handed a ziplock bag filled with a toothbrush, crappy toothpaste, a small bar of soap, a small black comb, and a crappy small deodorant. We all were assigned our bunks and walked in together. From the second we walked in, all eyes were on us. We didn’t fit in with everyone else. I could hear someone say, "She looks scared." I climbed to my top bunk, fidgeted with the sheet, and a black lady named Valerie came over and helped me make my bed.

Right from the start, people were eyeing us. As soon as info leaked out on us, the whole place knew. We seemed to be the 2 people everyone seemed to watch. What was also interesting was everyone seemed to want to help us out. It was such a catch 22. There are payphones there and the first minute is free, but when I call nobody answers because when they answer they hear a recorded voice so people think it’s a telemarketing call and hang up. Then after you call that same number, it becomes a collect call but no cell phones accept collect calls. Also as soon as they strip you of everything, that includes your phone and all your numbers so anyone you call has to be a number you know by memory. The one call they give you in the first jail cell is only local calls, and of course we really didn’t know anyone in this town. We also tried calling a bail bondsman, but he can’t do anything unless you have someone wire him some money. But of course we couldn’t get ahold of anyone.

This went on for days. Every day is was another plan to try to get out. Everyone seemed in on it, and after awhile it just seemed impossible. Other women tried to "help" us, but then other people were telling us they were just trying to get our possessions and make off with our money. That’s when I realized, I can’t really trust anybody. A women’s jail can be like one big Jerry Springer episode sometimes. They start trouble because they’re bored and have nothing else to do.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I went to their church sessions. I’m not Baptist or hardcore Christian, but beggars can’t be choosers. It was nice. I prayed hard for an answer.  But at this point, I was feeling like God was giving me a time out and it was up to me to figure out why. I was in jail because God wanted me to learn something and when he feels I learned what I needed to learn, then I would be set free.
When I came to this realization, I stopped trying to get out. My friend kept trying and trying. I kept trying to tell her all our sources have been exhausted. God wants us to be there until it was time. I went to one church service on Friday night, 3 on Saturday, and one Sunday morning. Some people go because they have nothing better to do. I’m a praying girl and needed all the help I can get. Very surprisingly, my friend went to the last one on Saturday night. I was surprised to see her in line to go. She was raised Buddhist and was agnostic when it came to God. The last service was so "Hallelujah!!! Amen!!!" I looked over to her and she was crying.

After church, I was braiding someone’s hair (that’s what people do there when they’re bored), I walked over to my friend who was talking to another girl and she was talking about when she was pregnant. This was the FIRST time she didn’t talk about how we were getting out of there.
Saturday night was "Open Mike" night. We’d use a pencil or toothbrush as the "mike" and a large black woman named Fairfax would be the emcee of the night. I sang , some people told jokes (they were VERY funny!), other people sang, I danced around while everyone was chanting "Whoomp! There it is!!!!!!", and we even had an authentic Soul Train dance line. So many people said that was the most fun they’d ever had in jail. Most of that came from me just being silly. All of us had enough to worry about. I wanted to make everyone laugh. Sometimes it can be the best medicine.

That night, I told my friend that it sucks that we’re in jail but we got in touch with God, met some amazing people, and made the absolute best of the situation. It was almost more like a Christian retreat….even though it was a forced one.

The evening ended with a group of people standing in a circle holding hands and saying the Our Father prayer. Then people went around to say something if they wanted to. I thanked everyone for welcoming 2 scared girls from out of town. I told them that God wanted me to be there until it was time and I promised to always be high on life and to make people smile. I’ll never forget that night as long as I live.

The next morning (Sunday), I went to the early church service (they had someone different for every service), then sat around the room. Suddenly, they called my friend’s and my name to come bring our bedding and towels. We were being bonded out!!!!! I was in shock. Who did this? We knew nobody in town!! This was nothing short of a miracle. After getting dressed, and going to the waiting area, there sat our agent. He spent the last of his money bonding us out. He tried to get us out sooner, but it wasn’t until Friday night that he even realized where we were, then it was a huge process to try to get us out. Since they took our phones, we stopped to get a temporary phone. I had no idea what happened to everything. I abandoned to car at the valet parking in downtown, my friend and I abandoned our hotel rooms, and I had no idea if ANY of this stuff would be there by now. I’d figure it out somehow. I was just so happy to be free.

Miraculously, the car was still in the valet and they only charged me $12 per day that it was there. Our hotels put our stuff in garbage bags, and any cash I had was locked in my suitcase. It was all there when we got our stuff. My friend had some cash too, and that too was not stolen. We checked into yet another hotel, and went to get some food. We were celebrating our freedom.

The next day, Monday, was Memorial Day. We needed to rest and collect our thoughts for the court date the next day. We laid by the pool, went shopping for appropriate court attire, had dinner, and saw a movie just to take our mind off of things.
Tuesday, the big day came. It was just a hearing to see when we’re coming back to court. We were SO nervous!!! The outcome was the same and they’re combining our case together as a companion case. There are some serious prosecutors that are out to get us!!! After the hearing, my friend and I went to talk to a lawyer about our case. He took it on, and I charged $3000 on my credit card since he had to be paid upfront. This whole fiasco cost a buttload of money. Since my friend wanted to make money and didn’t make any, I had to pay for all meals, hotels, the rental car and the lawyer. I’ve been paying down my bills and saving up for a rainy day. Well this was a fucking monsoon!

Sure I was about $5000 in a hole, but I’d rather spend that than be in jail.

So here’s my final advice to you porn stars/escorts:

1. Know all your important numbers by heart.  And if you’re out of town know at least one friend’s number who is in town that will have at least $500 cash handy in order to bail you out.  And if you don’t have any friends in that town, MAKE ONE!!  Also, know the number of a local lawyer by heart that specializes in criminal defense.

2. If you continue to escort, ONLY see people you know and are familiar with. Don’t see anyone new and don’t advertise!!!

At first, I was very hesitant to write this article, but I believe it’s something the people of our industry need to know and be careful especially when you tour out of town, and sometimes out of the country.  I’m now facing a plethora of legal battles.  I just have to pray and hope for the best.
