Joe Blow off to bigger things in life!

So my friend Joe Blow has retired from porn and wrote some nice thing about me and the business This is a must read. Most of the people he list I know and or have worked for.
Joe Blow is just back from Argentina after performing there for Brandon Iron and is officially calling it quits on his porn career.
“I’ve been in the biz for 5 years now, done about 700 scenes, and it’s time to move on. It’s been a blast.”
Joe performed seven scenes in seven days with Argentina’s finest for Brandon’s Perverted Planet and She’s Half My Age series, released through JM Productions.
“Brandon Iron has flown me around the world a few times, paying me to bang beautiful girls in Budapest, Prague, Bruno, Miami, Montreal, Buenos Aires and of course Los Angeles. He gave me my first job and my last job. I am very thankful. I’ve been lucky. He’s a great man to work for.”
A journeyman performer, Joe has worked for many companies in his years in porn; but especially for directorsVince Vouyer and Brandon Iron.
“Vince must have put me in at least 60 of his movies. His style is clean and he doesn’t take crap from the girls. I had to pinch myself a few times. I was a big fan of Vince’s movies…then next thing you know I’m in them!”
Joe started performing in November 2005. He knew Brandon Iron after being introduced by Jeremy Steele in late 2001.
“I was helping Brandon sell comp footage for a few years, attending shows and meeting people, before I finally decided I wanted to perform. I asked Brandon for a gig and the next week I was on a Bakers Dozen set. I immediately moved to Chatsworth and made porn my career.”
“Mike Hash, Ryan Knox and Jeremy Steele were all very helpful getting me started and finding me jobs–especially in the beginning. I owe them all special thanks.”
“I was lucky, doing the rounds, making a living right from the start, but things didn’t really break for me until Bobby Manila called and started hiring me to perform in some of Brazzers first scenes. I did about 20 scenes for Bobby really quick and once that content hit the Internet I started getting a lot of calls for fuck scenes.”
“I had a very nice run through 2006 and 2007. And then, in late 2007, a black cloud seemed to be hanging over the business. People were dying, getting arrested, it was weird. And I was working so much I had really burnt out on performing.”
Joe decided to quit performing in late 2007 and told his director friends his plans.
“Calling directors to tell them your quitting porn is kind of like calling your drug dealer to tell him your going sober. You’re really asking for it,” Joe says, laughing.
“I was about two weeks into my retirement when Brandon called me from the airport with an idea and an offer.”
The idea?
Hookers & Blow, a porn series starring Joe Blow that would be shot around the world starting in Los Angeles and then Prague and Budapest and wherever else they wanted to go.
“I couldn’t believe my ears. I had always dreamed of working in Prague and Budapest. I immediately fell off my wagon and said yes!”
Thus began a series of travels and adventures that took them around the world a few times, and culminated in a dinner with Rocco Siffredi in Prague in May 2009.
“That was pretty sweet. Rocco is a class act. He even picked up the tab!”
“I really loved the girls in Budapest. They are so nasty. Crystal Crown, Lea Lexus, Sabrina Sweet, Angela Winter…all nasty anal dynamite!”
Joe and Brandon’s adventures produced five volumes of Hookers & Blow, and several volumes of Perverted Planet and She’s Half My Age. And also produced the infamous Hookers & Blow box cover featuring Missy Stone snorting a line of coffee creamer off Joe Blow’s cock.
“Missy was a real good sport. I think we had footage of Nika Noir snorting coffee creamer too. We ended up not using it. Jeez, those girls are brave! I won’t even put that stuff in my coffee!” says Joe.
Joe’s career took another unexpected turn while in Miami in late 2008 attending Internext with Brandon while shooting content.
“I was drinking with Donny Long and Brandon and some folks from Incredible Dollars, one of Donny’s Internet clients. The big boss asks me a few questions and within minutes invites me to go to Columbia to perform for their latin themed websites. Again, how could I say no?!”
The next day Joe Blow was on a flight to Columbia.
“Columbia was a little scary at first. I didn’t know anybody. There are guys standing around with machine guns, bullet-proof cars and surveillance cameras everywhere.”
“I was hired to show the Dominican guys how to open up and really hit the scenes hard. So I put a lot of pressure on myself to perform well. The first scene I was sweating. But I really hit it out of the park. So I was cool after that.”
Joe spent three weeks in Bogata, even working with condoms much of the time.
“Condoms are tough. But if you have wood problems in Columbia they just point a machine gun at your dick. You get over it fast.”
“Just kidding,” says Joe, smiling broadly.
All joking aside, Joe claims to have taken the business seriously.
“I took performing very seriously. I studied the better performers and tried to develop my own style also. Initially, I stressed out a lot over the mental aspect of performing. It took some work to get my body to relax and enjoy the sex on camera. I’m a little klutzy at times, but I like nasty, hard, non-choreographed scenes. I always tried to have fun with the girls and I always tried to make the girls look good. In the end that’s why we’re all here isn’t it?”
“I know I’m no big shot in this business, but before I leave I have to say thanks to everyone. It’s been a privledge.
