NL-What sounds like childishness and jumping the gun is what got AIM a note from The Health Dept that had them shut down. In reading the paper work returned with their application, seems the problem was that they filled out "AIM"on the document, but their lease is in the name of "Adult Industry Medical". Since those two things didn’t match the application was rejected. The rejection notice the state gave, says that AIM has 60 days to fix and reapply. Another issue AIM has according to the LATimes is that they need a hospital they can refer patient to.
But for some reason ( I smell AHF) the County (thanksAnthonyk) delivered a notice that shut down AIM that day.
Perhaps we need to look into AHF (aids heathcare foundation) and out their agenda. The problem is that money talks and AHF seems to have lots of it. Where did they get it? What are they doing with it? Do they have the health department in their pocket?
