Las Vegas, NV :: (October 15, 2010) *- In a move sure to raise eyebrows about the industry, Reality Media Producer, Raven Alexis announced today that she and adult powerhouse Digital Playground have parted ways amicably, citing creative differences and business realities as the motivating factors behind the decision. Alexis signed with Digital Playground in August 2009 and starred in a wealth of features for the company including recent blockbuster "Body Heat" and summer chart topper
"Fly Girls."
"My experience with Digital Playground has been invaluable to my personal growth and development and has taught me so much about the industry," said Alexis in describing the decision. "But with growth comes change, and as much as change may inspire trepidation, I have come to realize that it is also what ignites passions and leads to great achievement."
Alexis indicated that it was the best course of action for both parties at the time and noted that she still plans to shoot with Digital Playground as well as others in the future. "While there are definite
advantages to being an exclusive starlet, many things have changed in the past year since I signed with Digital that make it more beneficial to both myself and the company that we alter our relationship in a way that serves both our goals moving forward."
"In this environment, both Digital Playground and I came to the conclusion that our mutual interests are best served in having the opportunity to shoot with one another on a case-by-case basis as opposed to within the confines of terms dictated within a contract created in a substantially different business climate."
