Prosecutors have charged a Los Angeles woman with attempted premeditated murder of an exotic dancer who was doused with flammable liquid and set ablaze outside a club.

The district attorney’s office says 27-year-old Rianne Celine Theriault-Odom was also charged Wednesday with mayhem and torture.

Theriault-Odom allegedly exchanged words with Roberta Busby, 27, outside the Babes & Beer nightclub early Thursday, doused her with an accelerant contained in a soda bottle and set her afire.

According to a Los Angeles Police Department statement, Theriault-Odom were arrested in "a police dragnet" about 5 p.m. Monday at a motel on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood.

The defendant was arrested with 22-year-old Nathaniel Petrillo, but prosecutors declined to charge him.

Busby, a single mother of two, suffered burns over 60 percent of her body and remains in critical condition.

She has already undergone the first of several skin grafts at Grossman Burn Center.
