Trinity [James] has decided that she wants out for GOOD! She is currently living in Las Vegas and has been doing porn and legalized prostitution for 4 years and she has realized that this is not something she can do any longer.
Here is where you can play a part in this new life for Trinity. We plan on making a visit to Trinity in Las Vegas within the next two weeks and get Trinity packed up and moved to Indiana. She has family friends in Evansville, Indiana that she can live with that will help out with childcare as Trinity enrolls in Cosmetology school. Her 5-year-old daughter can get enrolled in first grade in Indiana. Indiana is a great place for Trinity to raise her daughter and she will be far away from all the temptations of the porn industry and the lifestyle she is leaving behind.
If other porn stars received as much help as Trinity might here, I suspect that many, if not most of them, would also leave porn.
Porn stars are hookers without shame. They're looking to make an easy buck. If they can make that easy buck by turning to religion (or marrying rich), they will.
I understand that I have made generalizations and that there are individual exceptions to my propositions.

Luke, I assume you added that last part about the exceptions to prevent yourself from getting a slew of hate mail from all the porn girls who are in the business because they love sex. Well, those whores are in denial, they are in porn because they are lazy and unmotivated to do any work that involves any more than 2 hours of commitment and an activity beyond jerking people off with their fleshy holes.
I suspect our society will continue to have this problem until we teach women to value hard work and use their minds to get somewhere in this world. That's the real tragedy.

Trinity tells her story on the Christian TV show "Life Today":
Pastor Craig Gross: "Trinity was one of the girls we met this year at the [AEE in Las Vegas in January]. We're trying to get involved in her life and trying to help her."
Trinity: "I was ready to get out. I met [the XXXChurch.com pastors] through a mutual friend. They seemed like they actually cared and could possibly help."
Host: "Why did you do [sex work]?"
Trinity: "Money. I was a young single mom. Another girl I had met [had said] 'The money's great. It's easy work. It's easy to come by.'"
Host: "Do you think that would be the motivating factor for the majority of girls in it?"
Trinity: "Girls and guys. It's not easy for the guys. If they could make the money they do now and do something they enjoy doing, they might.
"I didn't have a relationship with my father. My stepfather raised me. My mom wasn't around. That [with the stepfather] was a good relationship. Men, I haven't had such a good luck. Most have been abusive, physically and emotionally. They're controlling. There were a few times when I tried to get out of the industry. There were a few times I tried to get out of the industry. The last relationship I was in, I was forced to go back in quite a few times. I had nothing that was mine. My money went to somebody else. I was left with nothing.
"Even more so in the industry [we seek a good man]. Sex isn't our main push. We need someone to love us. We need someone to hold us up when we can't hold ourselves up."
Host: "Do you see the addictive tendencies on the part of people who watch [porn]? Does that ever trouble you?"
Trinity: "Oh yeah. I have my own thoughts on men watching porn. I know a few people that the Adult world where has split their marriages. I don't think it is a good thing, but it is my job. I have to live two different lives there. I wouldn't want my husband spending his days watching porn."
Host: "When you work in the industry, do you have to shut this stuff out?"
Trinity: "All the emotion, all the feelings, it's all shut off.
"There's no emotion, there's no thoughts. It's just work. When I go home, I don't talk about it.
"If I ever thought about all the things that worry me about my job, I would be so depressed. I try not to think about it."
Host: "Do you think that is typical of all the performers? To block it out?"
Trinity: "I can't say. I would think so, yes. That's the easiest way to do it. If I had all my emotions and thought about the people watching me do it, I don't think I could do it."
Host: "Do you feel trapped by the industry?"
Trinity: "I wouldn't say I feel trapped. It's easy to get caught up in the lifestyle. A lot of the girls do. It's also hard that when you're ready to get out, it's also addicting. The lifestyle. The money, the parties, the attention. A lot of girls just need the attention."
Host: "You have a little girl. Do you want her to follow in your footsteps?"
Trinity: "No, I don't."
Host: "Do you want anybody's little girl to follow in your footsteps?"
Trinity: "No."
Host: "What would you suggest to them?"
Trinity: "Stay away. It's a hard life to live."

Luke: "Trinity James has found Jesus and is trying to leave the industry. She was on this Christian TV show."
Rob: "Is this through your friend Jim?"
Luke: "I don't think he had anything to do with it. It was through the XXXChurch."

Rob: "She got married. She wanted me to give her away. A few weeks ago. Now she's found Jesus? I think she's found the Devil."

Trinity James Project Blows Up

One of the hardest things we deal with is dealing with people who have been affected by the porn industry. We have been working with a gal named Trinity (Michelle) for over a year now. We met Michelle while she was dating a guy named Josh. Josh told us about his girlfriend and his own struggles with pornography and his prior work in the porn industry. Michelle began prostitution outside of Las Vegas and during this time also got married to Josh. We tried to help the both of them but had no luck for a few months.
A few months into our relationship we received a call from both of them asking for help and Michelle expressed a true desire to leave. We initially raised about 16k dollars to help with her immediate needs. We moved them from Las Vegas to Indiana and paid off their bills, paid for schooling, bought a car for Michelle, paid for uniforms, food, and tried to help with all her needs.
Our friend Shelley Lubben got them connected with a counselor in the area and a great church. Over the last year we have remained in contact with them, prayed for them and tried to push Josh especially to step up and start providing a future for his new family. This has been a learning process for everyone involved.
In June we received a phone call at midnight from Michelle. She called crying. She said her home was not a safe place, she was scared for her safety and her daughter's safety and she was leaving Josh. She was also devastated at the fact that her husband was into porn again. She wanted plane tickets back to Vegas to live with her mom. We bought them and flew her and her daughter out that next morning.
Once in Vegas, she agreed to meet with Mike and get connected with some great friends at Central Church in Vegas. We talked through child care issues, job, and a lot of options to make this work now that she would be near people that could help her.
Within a few days she gave up on this hope and wanted to fly back to Indiana. She asked us for money to buy those tickets and this is the first time in a year we have said no. We did not tell her to divorce Josh. We told her to give Vegas a chance and at least meet with Mike and some others. Josh's mom bought her plane tickets and flew her home back to Josh. Since then Josh has done nothing to bash the ministry and talk about how bad we have treated him. We have been pretty direct and strong with Josh. Encouraging him to stop with porn and be a man and take some responsibility. He took over complete control on the Trinity Blog that we had set up for Trinity and started posting things on there that did not come from Michelle or any of us here at XXXchurch. We asked him to stop, he did not and he locked us out of control of the blog. We took down the link to the blog and have still asked him to stop posting things since it is not his blog.
Michelle finally posted today. She said this:
I thought It was about time I make one and only one more post on my behalf of all this nonsense because that is exactly what it is all nonsense..we have all had alot of disagreements and because of course they are the ones out to be nice guys they will be right regardless well I wish I would of never fell for that crap because now my life is more screwed up than ever before...all this money was raised to help me start a new life a better one everyone kept saying but I went along with it and it turns out every time I think maybe I shouldn't it turns out I shouldn't have I could of left porn and everything else without them and been in the same place I am in now so what was the point well actually I would of probally been better off..it has done nothing but cause me to owe out alot of money and cant seem to get caught up it has me in a place I have no one or anything and it has cost me my marriage and I am sick to death of all this being put on my husband like it is all his fault it is about time everyone be held accountable for what they have caused the only good thing that has came out of any of this is my daughter is now in a school where she can get the help and tutoring she needs for her speech so that next year she will be caught up to where she needs to be but that is it..I think thats these guys idea of the project was a good idea but they have went about it all wrong and hope no other girl gets caught up in it.you know that what bothers me is xxxchurch number one thing they work for is to help people with there porn addiction...well we all know my husband has a big problem with it and how have they helped him they told him in a email to grow and just quit looking at it oh yeah and that he was a complete idiot exact words yeah that is really helping someone but no they seem to what to make all this about fighting with him and making it his fault that they couldn't do what they sought out to do. there idea to help me is go to church now yeah I should probally go to church but in all reality that isn't fixing my problems now with money a place to live or the therapist I need now that I have went through all this. my husband is now completely done with the church and believing in anything that he has believed most of his life but then again he seems to be pretty much done with anyone involved in this situation including me he has stopped trying with us because the trying and work we both have been doing seems to get cut off every turn we make so that is how this has all helped but I think that is about it I just wanted my thoughts heard oh and I really hope people aren't spending the money on the video above or any other money for the trinity project because there is no trinity project and the money is just going to fill a pocket that doesn't need any help.
There is a Trinity Project and some great things are happening. We have just hired Laci to work in Los Angeles heading up this project. She has started some great relationships with girls in the industry and we are excited about what might happen. We can not fix everyone's problems, we can help with a few things when people are ready. We can not miraculously change your life, only God can do that. The idea of this project from the start was to help people out of porn. We will continue with this mission and ask people that support this cause not to see this as a failure. We don't know what God is doing or will do. We are excited about what lies ahead and the trust that we are building with people in the industry. Our good friend Shelley Lubben continues to work on these things as well. God is opening up some big doors.
One thing we do realize is that we need a place for these girls to go to when they decide to leave. Shelley and X3 are already starting to put together some ideas that I think could really make a transition out of porn a lot smoother then it was for Michelle.
Please continue to pray for Michelle and Josh. Pray for their marriage, the new baby, and that they would be open to allowing God to have control of their lives. We do not see that this is over by any means with them. Right now it is just a little rocky and feel that God is capable of bringing this thing full circle. We do have a few thousand dollars sitting in the Trinity Project fund that we plan to use on other girls in the industry as needed. We will let all of you know of more needs that come up as they develop with others in the industry.
The reason why we post this is so it is out in the open and everyone can see what is happening.

Trinity James (seven months pregnant with her second child, the other kid is six, she was conceived the first time Trinity had sex) calls me back Monday night, October 9, 2006.
I want to hear from her and husband Josh about the demise of the Trinity Project. I read the XXXChurch's report here.
Trinity, 22, and Josh take up the last 20 pages of Pastor Craig Gross's book, The Dirty Little Secret: Uncovering the Truth Behind Porn. It makes them sound like they are trapped in porn and dying to get out.
Trinity received $14,400 in help from the XXXCHURCH. "They're more out for themselves than anyone else," says Trinity. "If they can use someone else to get there, so be it. We had a falling out because they wanted me to divorce my husband."
Pastor Craig Gross of the XXXChurch denies this. It would be unusual for a conservative Christian such as himself to push anyone to divorce.
Trinity: "Them trying to get me to divorce my husband wasn't
the only reason we had a falling out. It was over many different
things but ever since I decided I was going to work on my marriage,
they didn't want to help anymore. Kind of a coicidence huh?
"They need stupid girls who aren't smart enough to figure things out. They put it out that I want their money, but I don't want their money. That's the problem. I kept telling them that I was done with them but they just kept going. Now they've dropped anything about me from their website and any time I post, they delete it. They don't want people to know the truth. From what they had on there, everything was perfect. "I was doing great." We haven't been doing great since I got out of the industry.
"I went out and got a good job [after leaving porn]. I'm a certified nurse's assistant. He's got a decent job. It's not about the money. It is about the way I went about leaving the industry. I up and went and got screwed."
Luke: "Screwed from what?"
Trinity: "From not saving... It's hard to explain. They are just out for the publicity. They made more money off my name than they were supposed to [in donations]. They wouldn't give me the money when I needed it. "We're not helping you no more unless you divorce him."
"Josh doesn't care if I work in the sex industry. It's my choice. He didn't care when I left. He doesn't care if I go back.
"It all started... He's got his problem with porn like any guy has. They should be helping guys like that, but they don't want to help him. They just told him to grow up. It was very disrespectful. Some of the things coming out of their mouths, I didn't expect to hear from a pastor. "He's an asshole. He just needs to grow up and get a job."
"We've saved all the emails.
"If it wasn't for my husband's mom, we wouldn't have made it.
"They never really gave us cash. They paid for the things we needed. They paid for my schooling. They paid off our obligations. I appreciate every dime. I could've done it myself if I had saved my own money.
"It's all weird."
Luke: "Did you want out of the porn industry?"
Trinity: "Yeah. At the time, I wanted out. I wanted to knuckle down and raise my family. I'm not going to say it [leaving porn] was the best choice in the world."
"I don't regret getting in. It might've been a mistake. Who knows?"
"I regret the way I got out. I left myself in a position to have nothing. I'd worked my ass off, literally, for three years and had nothing to show for it."
Luke: "Why didn't you have anything to show for it?"
Trinity: "When my ex and I split up, it was a big battle and he took everything. He emptied the bank accounts and took everything from the house. I started from scratch again."
Luke: "You made a lot of money. You must've blown the money."
Trinity: "I wasted a lot of money just like every girl out there."
Luke: "How many Christian talkshows did you do?"
Trinity: "Just that one. It was weird. It was my first time being around that crowd of people with my clothes on. They were all trying to get more out of me than what they did. Even on that show, I never dogged the industry. I said it wasn't meant for some people. I've never done like this girl [Chrissy Moran] is doing now. I've never put anybody down. It was my choice to get in and my choice to get out. Nobody forced me to do it.
"I had that Shelley Lubben chick email me months ago that it was illegal what they did to me and that I should press charges. How do you press charges when you sign a model release? I did it by my own choice. I never did drugs or porn parties. I did my job and I went home to my kid."
Luke: "So where are you and God?"
Trinity: "I believe in God but I am not a religious person. My husband's Christian. He met these guys before I did. He went to them to try to get away from the industry. He was bringing them girls. When I met him, he said, 'You should talk to them.' I have no problem talking to anybody.
"They were using him.
"It irks me that they are finding more people naive enough to fall for it. They emailed me that I should keep my mouth shut because they're working with other girls and that I shouldn't make it look bad for them. That's why I never responded to Mike South. But now I see this girl [Crissy Moran] and she's going to go through the same crap I did."
Luke: "How do you feel about Pastor Craig Gross?"
Trinity: "That he needs a new line of work."
"What they want to do can be done, but they are going about it the wrong way. They shouldn't expect [porners] to change their life in one day and drop everything. They expect you to leave your whole life behind. They paid for me to move to Indiana. They never once came out to visit me and try to help us find jobs. We only heard from them when we emailed them. They had the publicity so it didn't matter."
Luke: "Have you ever had anyone invest so much in you as the XXXChurch did?"
Trinity: "It's not them. It's the people who donated the money."
Luke: "You accepted the help of the XXXChurch. What did you owe them in return?"
Trinity: "The deal was that I would stay out of porn, which I did. I was supposed to stay in contact with that Shelley Lubben chick but I just don't get along with her. All the stuff she was trying to do, I just didn't believe in. She thinks girls in porn have these issues. Girls at McDonalds have the same issues."
"I got my CNA [Certified Nurse's Assistant license]. I'm working on a medical/dental/office assistant [license] now. I'm not a stupid person. I can do a normal job."
Luke: "Did your porn past follow you to Indiana?"
Trinity: "We visited a few adult stores and quite a few of my videos were on the shelves."
Luke: "Did it affect your life in Indiana?"
Trinity: "No."
"At one point I thought about coming back to porn to just put a boot in their program, but it is not worth it."
Luke: "Do you regret getting involved with the XXXChurch?"
Trinity: "Yes, it is the thing in the industry I regret. The people who were supposed to make my life better made it worse. I was a lot happier when I was in the industry. It was a lifestyle. My freedom. I was in control. I could be home with my children. I watched my daughter grow up. Now I watch her go to daycare. I had a lot more time with my husband. Now we hardly see each other. I miss the attention."

A few months ago, Trinity gave birth to her second child.
Luke: "How's life in Indiana?"
Josh: "It sucks."
"The whole time I was arguing with [the XXXChurch], Craig [Gross, pastor] told me to stop making this about me. 'This is about your wife. This is the Trinity Project, not the Josh Project.'
"There would be no Trinity project if they never met me. I sought them out. I was interested in what they were doing... I've been a Christian since I was 15. I've had both sides and was trying to figure out my life and I contacted them looking for help, looking for work.
"He met Stephanie Swift through me. I gave them Sky Lopez's number. He met people through me that he would never have met without me. That he blows me off makes me mad. I asked for help and they dogged me as soon as they got a girl to pay attention to.
"Their website [XXXChurch] is mainly aimed at guys, trying to help them stop masturbating and looking at porn. I say I have this problem but they don't want to help me. They just tell me to grow up and stop being a baby. For a pastor pushing out all this love to turn around and tell me to just grow up and get a job and stop masturbating, what kind of help is that?
"When we came out here, they never once came to Evansville and saw where we were living. The $15,000 they gave us, that got us back here, got her in school and paid for a car. My mom's been helping me pay my bills since. The amount of money my mom has put into us is ten times what they raised."

Pastor Craig Gross responds: "luke. josh never wanted help. the problem is josh enjoyed life when his wife was a porn star. he loved driving her around to the shoots, attending the porn shows and even was okay with her being at the chicken ranch for weeks at at time while he sat at her apartment with no job and kept looking at porn. reality set in when they moved to indiana and the numerous phone calls I got from trinity telling me she was leaving josh and wanted our help to get away from him. at the end of the day, josh hijacked the blog we set up for trinity and got in the way of our help with michelle. a thing we have learned about porn stars…a lot of them have some deadbeat boyfriends and husbands….that is the case here. we tried…"
